I lost a lot of money yesterday bgs, d legs, fury, and lots of cash and I wasnt angry or anything, was more of a dang that sucks instead of the explitives I would have used when I was new to the game. I guess we get show less emotion over our pixels as time goes by, but I haven't quit and now I'm fishing for the first time in ages. :lol:

Not so much the restricting of pm's as perhaps hyperlinks in the messages. If those were disabled that would help, but it's not that the scam was good, we just messed up, this is the first time my account has ever been hacked and the timing happened to be spot on when I didn't bank my stuff, had they waited five minutes they would have gotten nothing -.- . They could perhaps restrict the amount of pm's to go off from an account in a day or something like that as well.

It looked just like the runescape page except for the login applet didn't have the jagex lock on it which really should have screamed don't do it at us. Otherwise, the site looked exactly the same. And to the moron right above me, we all mess up at some point so you don't have to be a jerk about it to those of us who do.

How is this a useless topic, had I seen this I wouldn't have clicked the link. My guess is it probably saved at least one person. As for the people he did get to it is our own fault, but as I said earlier, we all learned a valuable lesson.

I got nailed by the same thing so don't feel too bad lol. I lost my bgs, fury, d legs, torso (noooo), and almost all of my bank went from 400m to 1.4m in around 45 mins. Im annoyed but not angry I also think its safe to say we all learned a very important lesson today, always read the address bar -.-

I've used both and I liked them both, however I found that many slayer assignments require an offhand of some sort so I couldn't use my godsword. However when I did use my godsword I hit harder and more accurately than the whip. I find that in pvp and when I could use pve I enjoyed using the godsword more than the whip so it really boils down to whether you are training slayer and if you value experience over having fun. Besides, chances are if you have a godsword you can more than likely get your hands on a whip ;)

Nice guide, I wonder if I would have gotten 99 faster had I not plundered all the way.
