It's called a monopoly. They're not manipulating any thing, just squeezing the demand. A lot of you really use the term manipulate incorrectly. Care to elaborate? If two players and their followers can buy out the BGS Market, then what else would you call it? Squeezing demand is manipulating

It's not, unless you time it right. There is going to be a very small window of time between being too early to sell, and too late. If you miss the too late boat, then bad luck. Once everyone starts dumping (I assume over a thousand BGS have been bought as a result of the manipulation) you will have a hard time selling.

The thing is, everyone thinks they are making alot of money when buying into these manipulations. This is not the case.. Two people buy 80 each, everyone else buys. Everyone else buying forces the price up higher. The people with 80 each then sell, knocking out all the demand and knocking the price down. Everyone else who has thought they are making some money will be stuck with a bgs which is impossible to dump, even at min. The Runescape market is feeble, and people are stupid. Look at what happened when jagex said "Hold on to your robin hats", everyone thought they were becoming discontinued and soon the price was huge!! The people manipulating are also very smart, they bought out nests and sara brews, making it hard to hunt for bandos hilts also. Don't take part in this type of manipulation. if you want a bgs, wait it out. I assure you, you will get one very cheap, very soon.

If so, wait a week. Why? Organised price cartels such as the one in the [edit name] clan chat are mass buying items at the moment, namely BGS and DFS. Apparently, Two members alone bought over 80 BGS each, thought this is hearsay and i havn't witnessed this myself. If you want one of these items, make sure to wait and not buy now. Putting an offer in will only raise the demand further, making these people even more money. Wait a week when they try to dump them.. making money for themselves and screwing over everyone else who bought into the idea, as everyone but the people with large amounts of BGS who sell first will struggle to sell after the BGS are dumped, even at min. I will remind you that buying into these manipulations is bad. Only the few people who start dumping first will actually make money.

Testing the karam overlord with pouches stored in helm actually. I have data alot of data for broad bolts, so i thought if i use the exact same set up but instead with the overlord i'll get a picture as to how much it helps you. I have tested all sorts of things there, including dragon darts and rune knives. I didn't notice a big enough increase in kill rate to justify the cost of these. Maybe i'll have to look at them again. I estimate you will loose ~400 of your ammo per hour (shooting over fountains and the fact that the accumulator doesn't pick up everything) You average .9 bars per 1 kill. Using rune knives, you would have to kill an extra 74 Avainse per hour to break even. I don't see myself breaking 250 kills per hour with rune knives, and that's just to get the same profit as broad bolts/hour. And this is all without factoring in spawn times. Remember, we will be killing them faster, but we are limited to killing only what has spawned. There is a point where it doesn't matter how fast you kill them, your kill rate will not increase per hour. I am assuming in my maths that there is always one available to kill if using rune knives, but that may not always be the case.

What's with people naming all their drops in their signature? I couldn't care less if you have had a godsword shard, a dmed, or an ahrims hood from barrows. Why do people insist on having these in their signature?

Compfreak, all you are saying is just a whole bunch of assumptions, i have yet to see any proof of what you are saying. I have done tanking and prayer. I use a bunyip when tanking, which means time i spend picking up bones and using b2p is 0. It doesn't even come close to the profit made using prayer. Got this last night while testing.

Im maging metal dragons atm, im 88 mage. Im wearing ahrim's and using chaos gaunts with fire bolt. Im using around 40 Chaos Runes per kill. Is this a good way to train my mage up to 94? Or should i try something else? Ty :

My Advice: even someone with 99 defence shouldn't tank.

at arma you don't need regular defence. Because magic is pretty much all that hits you. And i can't go to zilyana cause my agility isnt 70. idiots these days Kilisa is strong :mrgreen: Hit's alot even on my 85 Defence. you would be ok in a team of maybe 5-6 people :^o
