  1. . .. ... .... [spoiler=The Explanation (AKA The Boring Stuff)] Yesterday I decided that I really want to kill Nex, currently the hardest boss monster in all of Runescape. I don't want to just beat Nex.. I want to destroy it! So I'm going to be leveling up Herblore to 88 for extremes, Slayer to 90 and all of my Combat skills to 99, with the exception of Summoning, which I'm stopping at 96... for now! The Slayer has nothing to do with Nex really... Its just a good short-term goal to focus on while slowly getting closer to my other goals. By the way! I will also be dividing up everything into short term goals, so I can stay focused while still making progress! [spoiler=Here is a list of all my short-term or "stepping stone" goals] [X] 90 Attack [] 90 Defense [] 90 Strength [] 70 Herblore [] 85 Slayer [] 90 Range [] 90 Mage [] 80 Summoning [] 95 Attack/Strength [] 80 Herblore [] 95 Defense [] 90 Summoning After this I'll start on my final goals ^_^ So lets start with the Slayer then: I'll update my blog every 10 or so tasks with updates on the stats I'm currently working on and xp changes. Here we go! Defense Level: 85/90 Xp: 3,296,143 Slayer Level: 75/90 Xp: 1,232,325 Current Task: Abberent Spectres
  2. Is training Slayer

  3. I'm not sure about you're question Daff, but as for the Thread Starter, Alching while Hunting or Farming while Alching are both great ways to spend your time, also if you have a pet you want grown keep that and a few food items in your inventory.
  4. Excellent Guide! I especially like your bit on rotating monsters, as the tediousness is what makes getting the scrolls the biggest pain in the butt. One question though, if you (For example) kill the Goblin Champion, can you kill more goblins to get a second champion challenge?
  5. I can confirm, I have these as an assignment and just got exactly 586 GP as a drop.
  6. is training Attack

  7. I recommend NOT Camping at the Warriors, instead use your time raising Slayer so you can camp at Spiritual Mages, or, if you really want to be in the God Wars Dungeon, Range Aviansies for pretty good cash.
  8. Its not necessary, as you can bank to fill your inventory with logs. However it is highly recommended you get one as the Terror Bird serves far more purposes then just getting the adze.
  9. Yes pick them up, if you don't then.... uhh.... you miss out on the practically free xp (Plus Terror Bird and War Tortoise Pouches cost more to buy then to make, so you'll kinda save money here)
  10. I think I'm going to unlock the B2P, then get infinity parts (I do Aviansies and other camping monsters a lot and being able to make my own tabs will come as a convenience to me in the long run) Thanks again for all of your help!
  11. Alright sounds good. Thanks a ton for helping!
  12. Hmmmmm Alright, all good suggestions. Thanks everybody! I'm thinking the Mage Training Arena but what do you exchange your points for? (I'd assume either Infinity or Master Wants)
  13. My Magic level is currently 81 and I was just wondering how I should go about training it to 90 I have the cash to burst rock lobsters but I would prefer a different, possibly profitable method if anybody knows of one. Thanks in advance!
  14. Actually a D2H spec can be useful while you're crowded up in PC, and Castlewars when there is a big crowd (Although there are better uses for the spec bar such as using a DDS, the D2H spec is still pretty useful and pretty cool In my humble opinion)
  15. Alright thanks. Is there any ideal set-up that you know of?
  16. I was just wondering, with my stats (listed below) Would I get faster kills by ranging the black dragons with Diamond bolts (e)/Broad bolts or Whipping them to death? All help is appreciated. Thanks in advance!
  17. Blue Dragons are also pretty good cash if you can find a good spot to kill them at.
  18. Yes Iron bolts are better then iron arrows, In my opinion. If you have the slayer level and other requirements (Not sure on what they are exactly lol) I recommend a rune c'bow and broad bolts (They are fairly in-expensive and are very, very good)
  19. Yes at 61 range it is worth a rune c'bow, infact even if you had to get 75 range to wield it, the rune c'bow would still be worth getting the range level for. (With the right bolts you can easily own pretty much anything :D )
  20. In my opinion Addy Darts > Black Knives They may be a little more expensive but they are a tad bit faster and have the potential to hit harder. Good Luck! (Also, Obby rings, from what I've heard, are excellent at Aviansies though I am not sure if they are better then Addy Darts or not. I'd assume so)
  21. Hmmm those are some pretty strict requirements : First off I'd like to say even though you don't want to, slayer is your best option. Now for things that meet all of your wants, Earth warriors would be pretty good, as well as Zamorak Warriors. Bloodvelds and Jellies also drop good (green) charms. Shadow Warriors in the legends guild basement are also good from what i've heard. If your looking for just good charm droppers, bursting Rock Lobsters and killing Waterfiends are excellent. Also make sure to kill Bork daily! The charms he drops really add up (Especially the blues)
  22. If you want a chance of a really good drop (Like a visage) kill Black Dragons instead of Iron or Steels, not onle do Black Dragons have an equal chance of dropping a visage, they are also easier to kill and if you pick up the bones and dragonhide you get a fairly consistant profit. Good Luck! (You can waste prayer potions and melee them, or you can range them.)
  23. If you want great xp go to Eucalyptus. If, for some odd reason, you want pretty bad xp go to yews. The decision is pretty simple :D
