  1. Well, it's kind of frustrating being a low level player and you keep getting level 70s-80s every time. You earn like 3-4 tokens per match and getting your butt kicked every time gets old. Another thing, there's a ton of idiot players who play FOG and they remind me of the obnoxious pkers of the old days. I absolutely HATE those people and they're the ones who complain and spoil the enjoyment of the game. Finally, it's way annoying when high level P2P go in and play FOG in a free world. I think that's real chicken crap of them to do that since not only do they have an unfair advantage in combat, but they have their own worlds for a reason. When I see this happening, I think, "Wow, that P2P must suck real hard at this game if he has to play in F2P to get wins." So in short, the imbalances in the game cause people to act out of anger or stupidity which kind of ruins the game.
  2. That made no sense. -.- F2P can't get a skillcape or it's emote without becoming a member. Therefore F2P has no form of "downgraded" skillcape. And I'm pretty sure this topic is about how F2P are treated, not what they want/deserve.
  3. Because I'm lazy and I hate training combat; it's always been a bad experience for my F2P account. I'd like to get by with as little combat training as possible. Also, I plan to go for 99 magic and 99 farming on the tanking account. That's why I need money from barrows/godwars/etc.
  4. Why, does recipe for disaster require an attack level? Oh, maybe the aqua saber. #-o
  5. I have 2 in my bank. I'd have to say a bluewrite sword is pretty rare but half wines and disks are the rarest of items.
  6. I freaking hate the ads because they always screw up... It's happened a 100 times when I'm doing something and chatting with a person at the same time, I make a typo and press backspace right as the advert is changing which causes my browser to go back to the world select. :wall:
  7. Well, I have this account and I want to make it P2P. However, he is a tank with 1 attack and 1 strength. Every other F2P stat has been raised. So I suppose my question is, "Will I be limited to combat based activities such as barrows/godwars because of his tanking stats?"
  8. Well, it's not like we're asking for all the member features, just stuff that we feel we deserve (like skillcapes). I don't know what F2Pers on this forum ask for, so I can't be 100% sure that all these people who request updates and such deserve them. I don't think that F2P should get frequent updates but I think that something should be implemented every now and then to keep the game interesting. Like, F2P shouldn't get new skills and new quests but we could do with a small upgrade in a skill every now and then.
  9. This entire post enrages me. How does not having the ability to pay 6$ a month make you a brat? If you are amazingly poor you should not be allowed to play games? That last part, "Really, just pay the money and you'll get it." You obviously dont understand the mindset of F2P'ers. Getting members ruin the status of pure F2P, which might not seem like a big deal, but it is. Next time you post on my thread, pull your head out of your [wagon] and think about what your saying. Also - Chaolin, could you please change the font to the normal color? Thanks a bunch mate :) Sorry Ammo, just trying to get my meaning to stand out a bit. :
  10. Lol, I agree. I'm F2P but I can still tell that this is happening. I'm sick of seeing that stupid trapdoor in the Edgeville house. I've asked several of my P2P friends as to what it leads to but none of them know.
  11. Why does every P2P consider real life money to be the one reason that you deserve everything? What about player value and contributions back into the Rune Scape community? I'm sure a lot of you F2P bashers have made several friends in F2P; they've kept you company when you had no one else to talk to, they've probably given a tip or two for training your skills, and above all, they've been your friend. Is that completely irrelevant to you? It's time to grow up and realize that money isn't the only form of value in this world. Another thing, you bashers act like being poor or being conservative with your money is a bad thing. A freaking computer is still a luxury for the world and paying for a game is even more so. To be honest, I'd much rather pay for a pizza and a good time with my friends than pay for a month of game that can cause antisocial behavior. It's not being stingy, it's called putting priority to what's important to you in your life.
  12. Most F2P are new to the game and some don't know what they're doing half the time. Some people go to American worlds when they can't speak English. Others are skeptical at advanced training methods that they don't understand or haven't heard of. What I'm trying to say is, most P2P don't cut F2P any slack. P2P members usually know what they're doing so when they see a little ignorance in F2P, they misinterpret it as immaturity or disrespect. And once they get back to P2P they complain and over exaggerate to friends thus creating very shallow generalizations and views of F2P. Basically, most people who complain about F2Per behavior are somewhat ignorant themselves. Most rumors about F2P are usually misunderstandings between the two players. #-o
  13. Hey, my name is in there. And thanks for using my guide! 10/10 cause smithing runite is ftw. :D
  14. The idea is well developed but it has a few flaws (unkillable NPCS :?). Other than that, the general idea sounds really appealing to high levels players. =D>
  15. Its green, but same thing =p. On Lil Dan Def (Level 18), starting from scratch, I have over 13m worth on him now in less than 8 months of play. Combat level really dictates very little on f2p in-terms of how much money you have, non-cb skills play a lot greater part in it. Mostly because the popular good dropper on f2p are Cockroaches, and Lesser Demons, both of which...still earn very little. However, in comparison to a skiller, in combination with merchanting can easily earn a lot more. ~Dan Ah, my mistake. Anyways, Dan is right; any F2P can make loads of cash as long as they have seed money and they know how to merchant.
  16. They merchant a lot and they know what they're doing. I Miner I has level 3 combat and he has a white partyhat. Though, some of those low levels might have been drop traders before the trade limit.
  17. I've never seen that many. Very nice!
  18. Very, very nice. This is the skill that I aspire to be the first to 99 once I become a member. Be my farming teacher once I'm P2P? 99/10 :D
  19. Exactly! :D In my opinion, one fulfilled dream is worth a lifetime's effort. :
  20. Unfortunately, you don't. Ah you're right. I would still go with door A though.
  21. As long as I have Rune Scape and high speed Internet, Door A. :
  22. I would like to jump off an airplane with no parachute and have that sensation of "flying" before I die.
