Geez, how many smart people do you think there are in Runescape? What, maybe 2% of the total players at most? Maybe 3%?

Blocks their ip from registering a new account for like 8 hours. Wrong. I tried it last year when I was 12 - I think I was going to make a ranging pure or something - and I just deleted cookies and selected a different option.

I saw something suggested on the Runescape Official Forums that I liked... a skill that's a counterpart to thieving, called Tactician. Command troops or something like that...

Fourty-something. I could've killed it a few levels earlier if I didn't forget to turn my auto-retaliate back on... But I killed the lesser demon at level 37... I was so proud of myself! :)

I had a snow ranger... veteran of 10 battles, survivor of 9 and a half. It despawned when it was fighting a snow warrior.

Get everything from Holiday events, mess around in Varrock Square whacking people with a rubber chicken. Oh, and maybe getting 70 combat and 700 overall. Yeah. Those are good goals. EDIT: Oh, and one more thing. Acquire at least 100K gold coins.

A few months ago, I was following a trust game scammer. I noticed a silent playermod following, too. When the scammer said "do you know how to play the trust game", I said "Aha!" and reported him. I said that 99.9% of all trust games are scams; the playermod disagreed and said that 100% of all trust games are scams. I told him that there are always exceptions. At that point, a player told me to shut up I told him that if didn't like what I said, he should just add me to Ignore, because that's what it's for. He tells me to shut up again, and I tell him to add me to Ignore again. This is when the playermod tells me to shut up unless if I want to join the scammer (in getting muted). Whatever. Like I care. I stay there for a while and go back to trying to sell my spare rune items.

I've been F2P forever, and I've played on my current account since RS2 came out. (In RSC, I had a crappy computer, so I never got around much to playing, just lagging.) Now, after the updates - which I disliked - I suddenly feel a strange urge to subscribe. Weird, huh? I might get members...

RSC, where I never got past combat level 20: some guy was training on thieves in Phoenix Gang, and I took the leftover gold drops. Me: I'm rich! Thatotherguy: Really? How much do you have? Me: 200gp Thatotherguy: Lol So I went off to the sword shop and bought a steel longsword or something.

Aha, the joke is too true. I agree mostly with your post, except for the "playing for a long time" comment. I made my current RS account when RS2 came out, and my combat level is still 62, while I have no skill more than sixty-something.

There's one part of Runescape that is never updated. Everyone, whether they are F2P or P2P, experiences it. This essential part of Runescape is called Tutorial Island. When someone creates a new account, they start off in Tutorial Island. But Jagex never updates the tutorial. I say that it requires a few changes: 1. Have the priest explain clans in addition to friend/ignore list. 2. Then, instead of telling the player to look at the rules on the website (which I know that most people are too lazy to do), have him explain each rule, why it is in place, and finally a reminder of the consequences. 3. After that, he gives a "pop quiz". The player will be given random questions, with random answer selections, sort of like the Stronghold of Security. These changes should: 1. Stop or slow down the creation of bots. 2. Hopefully, we'll have less immature players. Oh, and then send J-Mods to camp out at common skilling areas, patrolling between a group of worlds for more bans.
