  1. I find Play.com do some excellent prices for digital cameras (compacts) if you want a quick decision I got my compact off eBay from a company who get all the returns of nikon digital cameras, they then refurbish them and sell them as used even though they're brand new. People don't bid often as they have had a problem before but they often give 1 year warranties. My little Coolpix P1 has done me a good job the last 2 or 3 years, even though i think it is a very good camera i haven't been watching and keeping myself updated on newer models which are probably slightly more advanced and better. 3 years ago this cost me £100 with a 1 year warranty, charger, case and 1 gig card. Unfortunatly not many pop up now though. Overall my advice would to be... ~ Do your own research, make a decision that you are happy about Most people on forums like these will give you a very biased opinion on the 1 camera they have, without being able to test others themselves. (I'm not saying i have had other compacts, which is why i suggest you research for yourself) ~ Avoid cameras that places like Argos make a big deal out of, these are often cheaply made and not built to last. They get good write ups as they are cheap, and origianlly good and reliable for people. ~ Unlike SLRs, the specifications in the description of compacts don't mean much and are often just big numbers (a good example is 10x Digital Zoom!! In truth, digital zoom does nothing. Optical zoom however does. ~ Refurbishment companies on eBay are a good way to go in my opinion, the people that refurbished my coolpix were actually employed by nikon so they fixed them in a proper way with the materials they got from nikon.
  2. When summoning points run out i understand familiars stay standing and fighting but you cannot not any of the right click abilities. Now i have stuff stored in my terrorbird, will it drop its content after the summoning points run out or will i not be able to see them or whatever? Basically, what happens? Will i be able to bank my items in my familiar even after summoning points run out? Thanks

  5. You don't, otherwise people would merchant 24 - 7. If the item is in high demand and is used alot by everybody the event of a major price fluctuation would be very rare.
  6. Why, yes he is. He is in forsakenmage a lot, and post on these forums. And he's the one writing this post. :XD:
  7. * An orange spicy stew can raise crafting temporarily by up to 6; however, it can also decrease it by up to 6. * A poison chalice may raise crafting temporarily by 1, though it may also cause up to 49 HP damage. It can be acquired freely from Stankers, the Dwarven miner near the Coal Trucks west of Seers Village. * Crafting potions temporarily raise your Crafting level by 3
  8. You should be fine with 90 defence
  9. Is he even a tipiter? :-s
  10. Not fair :( Was going out this afternoon to take pictures with my shiny new macro lens to replace the images i'd already taken. But spose voting has started a day early so i wont bother  edit: and also, my edited picture doesn't show up on the first page.
  11. Anyone seen fonejacker?
  12. Just use the setup you have, and take some food. Don't bother with prayer, you'll be ok.
  13. I asked the same question a day or two ago, people advised that i pray or take lots of food with a bunyip. At 86 defence with Torag's i did a task of 180 with just a bunyip, i didnt even need any food, (I did have a super set though) Take a nature rune for every kill if i were you, i used about 80 for alching in a task of 180...
  14. When i became a member 4 or 5 years ago the first thing i wanted to do was train my new skills, and in the process of doing i saw other things i wanted to investigate. ie, people with dragon swords, and weird quest items. I would read tipit guides alot, so i alread had a pretty good direction of what i wanted to do. And then i did it i suppose.
  15. In my opinion you need to work on your composition, and your focusing. Composition isn't something you pick up straight away, and focusing can take a bit of practice to get the perfect focal point. Looks like you had similiar problems with all of your shots (apart from the leaves - which i absolutely love!!) A tripod would definately help prevent camera shape, and give you more time to think about your composition. Keep at it!!

  18. I've got a task of a 100 or so Spiritual warriors. Now i understand there are 4 different types in the GWD, and they use different attacks. I've never been to kill these before so i want to plan my trip. At my levels would i be able to kill a task of 100 in a trip? What ones should I kill? Why? What is the best way to kill them? (I do want to melee) What sort of armour should i use? Is it multi combat? (ie Would a D2H or familiar such as the smoke devil come in handy?) I couldn't find any guides or anything, so if someone could point me in the way of one of them that would be great :) Please only post if you have first hand experience... Thanks
  19. It would give less than 2k experience. It's up to you, 6 hides (you need that amount per pair of boots) would sell for 14,058 and boots would sell for 14,200.
  20. Yes it does, i only ever see high levels guthaning there though. I've personally never tried it, as i find my invo is full up enough with prayer pots/food. Wear karils with a good crush weapon, and have a terrorbird full of monks or something (you have to drop the pouch and food and summon inside, then tele back) Range pray is your best option
  21. After months of waiting i finally got my hands on the Sigma 70mm 1:2.8 DG macro lens from a friend  IT IS AWESOME : Couple of weeks earlier would have been nice but i have one or two days to change my entry if i manage to get some photos taken... college is making me a very busy person at the moment though :(
  22. God I hope they ban those damn things before the World Cup starts. There was some singing by the South African fans towards the end but it was totally drowned out by the horns. In my opinion you can't fault the atmosphere of a giant football match
