It's 10 bucks - get over it. It is illegal not to pay... Just relist it like i said, you should make a very small loss.

When you win an auction you enter into a legal contract to pay. All you can do is ignore and get negative feedback, however it is not in the spirit of the website not to pay. Surely the pokemon card wasn't much? Just pay and then relist it, you should make similar money back.
  6. I also agree with Nerdboy, but i have to say that some metal/emo music also portrays bad morals. Just heard a song on the tv again just now by 'Theory of a Deadman' - called 'Hate my Life' Who writes songs like that? The whole song just makes me wanna drown myself in sorrow to put it lightly lol
  7. The general advice for waterfiends is 80 melees and 70 prayer but you won't struggle too much if you're below that. You're magic is ok too which helps. Just try it - you may not be able to camp as long as you like but games necklace makes it easy to transport there and to a bank.
  8. A good way to make the shards cheaper would be to trade in the pouches you have made - also if you have some junk you can buy them on the RSOF for 20gp each. You might be able to manage waterfiends - they are the best source of Crimson charms for you. However they are quite tough and slightly higher melees and prayer would help. If you don't fancy that i recommend slayer, it's always a great skill to train and the rewards/charms will come as a by-product. All my charms (level 71 now) have come through slayer.
  9. Spent the last few days in Fist of Guthix - went from 3k rating to 7k, and gained 3000 tokens. Thought now would be a good time to cash em in :) Probably going to continue Fist of Guthix till i get 10k rating, or in the top 1000 players which is ~14300 rating First time i've ever done something like this, and it's a nice extra 1100k to add on to my cash pile :

  11. In response to the Beatles conversation... Time is moving on, yes - the Beatles are a very influential band but their music is becoming outdated and more unappreciated as new music develops. 20 years ago they were very highly regarded, and don't get me wrong - they are still highly regarded, but not as much. Not to offend anyone on this forum, but i bet most of the people on here are of a youthful nature - therefore might not have been exposed to bands like the Beatles. I can see why people liked them 40 years ago, they are perhaps the Westlife of today (poor example, but i hope you see my point) The lyrics are good and the songs are catchy, they were also attractive :anxious: There are plenty of other bands such as Pink Floyd, Iron Maiden and even Bob Dylan who have changed the face of music - i'm not sure if these have a wider mentioning as i have not read all of the lists. Well, that's my two cents. And i still want to do a list :)
  12. Interesting choice - wouldn't have thought Less than Jake and NOFX would be your type. And it's good to see you appreciate Muse before they became a 'massive' band. Personally i prefer the 'Showbiz' album and you can buy it very cheaply on ebay or play. It's also good to see you can go back to your roots with the Anthem album, though we share different musical tastes i would put one or two of the first albums i properly listened to on a list if i ever did one. Can't say i've heard of Jesu, but i will check them out.

I broke my braces 3 times due to chewing gum. It's definately worth not chewing it for a few years as your teeth will look great for life. Thankfully i eventually learnt my lesson, but some people have to do it the hard way and pay for them to be fixed, NHS ftw 8-) I think i've tasted watermelon (or melon) abroad, and the flavour is good whilst it lasts, just leaves a slightly offputting aftertaste.

  17. The best range level to kill iron dragons with would be 99... You won't notice much of a difference unless you get to 80+ There are better things to range - aviansies would be ideal for you, good exp and profitable.
  18. I like the colours but i would get rid of the text on the first one. I think the images don't blend too good either, but i think the brushwork doesn't complement it and if you worked on that a bit they would look alot better. I also think the top one is cropped a tad too bit on the top, and the positioning of the figure in the 2nd one could do with some slight repositioning to the left. Very small things, i know - would be cool to see a 2nd version as i like the ideas alot :)
  19. Depends what sort of lens you want shiny - i'm not an expert at all with pentax btw. However if we knew what photography you liked to do, then that might help a bit (I have seen some of your photos, but i'm sure you have preferences as to what you like to shoot) Personally my camera came with a standard 18 - 70mm lens which is ok for general photography. My next choice would probably be a telephoto, perhaps a 50 - 200mm - or a 70 - 300mm which is handy for portrait and sports and even some nature/landscapes. I would probably use this for general photography just as the zoom comes in handy. Next up would be a macro lens, i'm currently borrowing a 70mm Sigma f/2.8 from a friend, and it really is incredible - i'm sure you can get pentax mounts for that. Your budget probably doesn't stretch to a third lens but i think an enthusiast would have a wide angle lens, possibly a 10 - 20mm or maybe a fisheye. But as i said, it depends on your preference of style. Those would be my first 3 choices if i had some extra cash (1. Telephoto. 2. Macro. 3. Wide angle) --- Now i'm not sure what you're budget is, it may be big but i imagine it's not as we're not all loaded with cash #-o The only lens i've had first hand experience with in the next few i'm going to suggest is the Tamron 18 - 250mm, it was good when i used it with a friends camera - but it does cost a bit more than i would spend. However the Pentax 50 - 200mm has good write ups and i think it's quite affordable too. As for the macro i would suggest the 70mm sigma but again, it's pricey. All i can do for this category is point you in the direction of some links/reviews. Cosina AF 100mm I think Pentax do a nifty little 50mm f/2.8 too... No idea on wide angle lenses though as i have never used one. I'm sure Tripsis can give you some good input Shiny.

It's really cool, i like your style. If i had any CC it would be that the brush strokes in the background don't look as defined as the rest of the image, and the figure could do with a tiny bit of extra detail/colour in the key features (such as the face) to make it stand out a bit more. Foreground looks great!
  21. I'm pretty sure it's over a year old, i couldn't pin an exact date on it though. The last update on the item in the Zybez items database was September 08 - you could try searching for news articles relating to tresure trail updates around that time.

  23. Some skills cost money... But skills can also make money... So it is essentially a question that has no direct answer, since there are so many other considerations that need to be taken into account. However it also comes down to a player's preference - do you like being rich to have the best items, or do you make money to train skills?
  24. Runescape is nerdy, but i'm not a nerd. Most people that play are just 12 year old kids... (like i was when i started) It's just a habit that i got into 6 years ago, and i haven't really stopped. Some might call it an addiction, but for me it's just a better way of spending time i would have otherwise spent playing xbox and watching tv.
