I see no arrogance. The arrogance isn't quite astounding, but it's certainly there. They seem to have created a thread for people with Partyhats because they believe that those who have them are part of an elite group. I dunno... Kinda self-explanatory... As for you comment about Jagex seeing this as an insult- the reason is that they tag racism under offensive language. If, for example, you were to call someone dumb- that's not reportable- if you were to call them "dumb jew" "dumb black guy" etc, that's very reportable. Jagex only sees the word 'jew' as an insult when used in negative context. But I wasn't using it in a negative context, and was still muted twice.I understand that real-world religion has no place in RuneScape but it was a term to acknowledge him by since he's proud of his race. Ah, well, it happened a while ago, I'm not really angry about it anymore.

6888 hours for those who CBA. Wow. But I hope that they have days since account creation too. 6-7 years playing is likely more impressive than all of the time I've wasted (read: nothing productive even by RuneScape standards, as in just standing around). As if it matters, this'll also give ammo to the annoying flamers who love to scream 'no-life' whenever they're beaten or outwitted.

Has anyone taken the world map and highlighted the different area spans of the different diaries to see all of where we're missing? (If you don't understand what I mean then look to the Tip.It Wilderness map that shows multicombat areas in a thin highlight overlapping the actual map.)

You're forgetting that Barbarian Assault actually already has towers - the egg cannons. And it already has hoards trying to get past - the Penance Runners, obviously. ... Guess we've already got a TD of sorts...

Such a thing would fit if you were part of the attacking hoard and were controlling your own character. Actually, this could be two-sided like Castle Wars or Soul Wars, but at the moment, I can't think of how it could be balanced. I mean, one team is protected in turrets and the other is just getting picked off... However, there are many, many different existing character sets that could be used. A few off the top of my head would be the Penance from Barbarian Assault, and the Void creatures (actual name?) from Pest Control. In fact, it could work just about anywhere that you have two opposing sides, or a group of monsters attacking something, like Shades of Mort'ton. It could even simply become another section of Mobilizing Armies. It would be a nice quest mechanic/section/segment/event that unlocks it as replayable minigame afterwords.

Attack Strength Defense There's just something so gratifying about finally having the best equipment after it's eluded me for so many years (the Fire Cape, and then the imbued rings). Don't be a smartass and point out Bandos Boots, Dragon Gauntlets or other such things that do not lead to optimal stats. I actually have those too anyway! :)

Its the same reason I've pked with rune warhammer to ags, lol And as for the "combat is luck" he switched to torso cape dds and barraged again (autocasting) If you know how to hybrid, rarely ever do you want to put autocast on. It just causes problems. I rip hybrids when I'm in tank gear usually. Would probably look really nice with the Summoning Skillcape. Anyone want to try that out? :-P Also, why would people think you're an idiot? With my limited PvP vocab, it looks like you're welfaring in your picture, and Proselyte seems perfect for that.

At the moment, all of the equipment pieces of the Achievement Diaries are very different and very unique, and reflect the area they come from. My question is this: Would you like all of the pieces to be different or would you rather they all be uniform (but still unique as opposed to other equipment) once every equipment slot is filled in? If you would like a uniform set, how would you want it to look? (Be as descriptive as you want!)

The cost of melee is food. For range you are paying for the ability to attack from a distance. I'm a ranger (99) and I think unlimited ammo would be stupid. By your logic an ancient staff that provided all the necesary runes wouldn't be overpowered. Absolutely right. If you paid a large up-front cost to have unlimited spells of a certain type it would not be overpowered. However, in both cases, I was thinking more along the lines of PvP and not so much training or monster hunting. In PvP, being able to attack from a distance when ranging or maging is a rare luxury and not a big enough advantage to warrant high costs of ammo. However I am in no way advocating being able to use unlimited Barrage spells at Rock Lobsters or something like that, unless the attack only hit one target at a time. I was already planning to create a suggestion thread about being able to buy 'packs' of ammo for safe minigames that never need to be replenished. When I have time I'll create it and likely link to the thread in my signature.

infinite bolts is a bit broken >_< nothing wrong with a bolt pouch, you know of those right? you load bolts into the bolt pouch and equip the bolt pouch ANYWHOO I'm pretty sure jagex isnt making a bolt diary as much as I would love to see one ='( You can't equip bolt pouches, they stay in your inventory, and they can only hold a total of 1020 bolts, so...not really related. Infinite ammo would be obviously overpowered though, I mean honestly... Sorry, getting off topic, but honestly... It wouldn't be overpowered since you can swing a melee weapon over and over and never worry about not being able to attack the next round or an ongoing cost.

What at all about 90+ in any skill is hard? It all boils down to how much time and patience you have. The only "hard" aspect is not getting bored with it before you get there. The elite tasks take all of what? 1-2 hours to do? It's not some long lasting repeatable content that's going to keep high level people busy. Things like GWD and corporeal beast are those things. Mid-80's would have been plenty enough of a requirement for what it is, and it would have been within reach of a much wider range of players. Hey! Grinding is very hard for some people! ... Mostly due to lack of patience, like you just said... :P I do somewhat agree about requirements in the 80s rather than 90s, but then also that as it stands the current Elite rewards should hardly have anyone complaining that they can't get them. They are rather meager. I think that they designed the rewards to where people wouldn't feel obligated to have to get the Elite achievements to complete their AD set, and to where the Elite reward was worthwhile only if you already were close in those skills or had some plans to train them in the near future. Unrelated to the comment above: It's too bad that these go in the cape slot; I had always counted the Quest Point Cape as the cape of achievement. Also, I duly hope that they align all pieces to a uniform look when all slots are filled.
