  1. Zaros gravestone from Keldagrim: Exact same grave. Yeah. And the larger version is old, and was probably out before there was even any development on Zaros. That's what I'm saying - The symbol is fairly generic and it's just a coincidence.
  2. Isn't that more like... A generic gravemarker? I think they have those in real life, that are shaped just like that. Kinda plain that they chose to make Zaros' symbol like that but oh well. This same exact grave is found in many different places, with Salarin the Twisted's room being one, and various graveyards being others. It was... Kind of a nice theory though...
  3. Did people honestly expect skillcapes? That's about as likely as sailing. Seriously guys....capes? I could be completely wrong here (perhaps they're saving it for last), but it just seems like selling capes would be a huge profit loss for Jagex. Well, hoodies with skill symbols on them. That's more practical. You're right, though, it would be a huge profit loss, because of course they would have to cost $99 each, and then no one would buy them.
  4. If a god is going down, I sure hope we finally have a CHOICE rather than what we've been doing all along, which is unwittingly helping a certain side.
  5. Most of it seems a step in the right direction, but I'm hoping that there will be more of a selection when they officially release the store update. I'd probably buy a hoodie or something with the Zamorak icon on it, but a plastic cup? Maybe if there were no red square, or the entire cup was red. But definitely not if it said 'church of Zamorak'... ... Where are the skillcapes? :-|
  6. That's exclusive games for ya. Is it still considered exclusive if it was also made for the PC?
  7. FEAR? Doom 3? Those two shouldn't be anywhere near a top 200 list of any kind. Saying that Doom 3 was the first to have "awesome graphics" is stupid. It didn't revolutionize anything, even graphically speaking. Plus how it looked aside the game was just boring. Top 200 revolutionary list rather than top 200 best games ever, I suppose. Review the bolded part. I put the reasons. And I may have used the term "awesome graphics" for Doom 3 but there was something specific that they had that hadn't been used anytime before then, I just can't remember the technical name. FEAR, like I said, is the only game I know of aside from its own sequels to have enemies that actually seem to coordinate their attacks.
  8. I too am somewhat confused as to how they are ranking these. Probably just by how much fun they remembered having... But... I can think of a few different games that I've played that brought something new to the table, that aren't on the list: Doom 3 - Not the best FPS ever but wasn't it the first to have super awesome graphics (which have of course been rendered obsolete)? Dead Space - Best survival horror ever? Then again, I haven't played Silent Hill, and only Resident Evil 5 of the Resident Evil series. It just left a lasting impression is all. FEAR - The whole organized enemies deal. Quake III Arena - Lots of customization/support for customization. House of the Dead - Semi-popularized lightguns.
  9. I've been playing Serious Sam HD. So many deaths... And this is just on normal! I shudder to think of what it would be like on 'serious' mode. I just got to this giant demon looking thing at what seems to be the end of the game and everytime, after the cutscene, it crashes. I lmao'd when the character said "Well yer a biggun aintcha!" too... Really sucks... I really like this game, at least when it's not impossible. And when it doesn't crash, although this is the only time it's happened. Also... I went to Blockbuster to rent Left 4 Dead 2 and they told me it wasn't made for the PS3... WTF?
  10. I was trying out sap Magic and Deflect whatever at TD's (before I promptly died after Java and/or mozilla decided now was a good time to cut out), and I had some significantly faster kills than with Eagle eye+Piety. Defence seems to help. After that 5m lost (and wondered why I even brought Karil's top when I was going to lose it when Black Hide is as good), I went to a Bandos CS team and the defense+Range drain on Graar has significant results. The Graar kills were a lot faster (I was tanking by the way). No special drops, though, but I got some nice loot as it seemed I had the highest LSP by far. Kept Ourg bones for obvious reasons. Wait, so the effects stack if multiple people are using those prayer curses? Or are you saying that just your curses were enough to make it significantly faster? ... Or do you not know, because you aren't familiar with the people you went with...? Just 4 people to reduce someone's Defense to 0%...
  11. Agreed... Would it really have been overpowered for them to just include increases for Ranged and Magic with the current Turmoil? Without a much higher drain rate that is...
  12. Sure, it's usually dumb that people complain, but I'd think that anyone who is even the least bit familiar with this game would've realized by now that that's all that many people are capable of: complaining. Especially with a very useful high-level content update there will be floods of complaints. Ah well. At least this update gives me insentive to use all of those bones I've been hoarding.
  13. I just got here, and Turmoil actually sounds awesome for the name of the near-max prayer curse. Does it stack with the Leech Strength prayer curse for up to 33% +10% of the opponent's strength? Does the 10% take off of their level after their stat is lowered or before, and does it take into account boosts such as other prayers or potions or set effects they may have been using?
  14. Really thin connection but I hope they update melee armor with this. Remember these?: Those're in that Mahjarret's house, where part of Curse of Arrav took place. And also to be included in part in the Draynor graphical update: Really looking forward to that. Looks like they didn't screw up on those like they did with longswords! Is there a more general 'future updates' thread I could post this in?
  15. Oh... I thought they were all done with FTP3... I was kinda looking forward to that, and maybe a Dragon Shortsword or something with it (seems like an appropriate opportunity) this week... Where has Curse of Arrav been hinted at as coming out soon? Aside from them confirming that there would be a quest this week...
  16. A most valid point. Also I think people are forgetting we already have a taste of new troll graphics... <Forgot how to link in pictures...> [spoiler=Kinda unrelated minirant~]This is why Forgiveness of a Chaos Dwarf and Within the Light bugged me so much - they've shown they're willing to release just a few new models without updating the entire race yet they still chose not to update veldaban, the red axe guys, or chaos dwarves...
  17. I'm going to draw them in Illustrator once I get a bit more experienced using it and after I've fixed some problems with my computer. I'll likely make the sets of armor sets look uniformal to the other sets (eh... Barrows will have the same colors as 3rd Age and PvP). Well, and, on its own it's neat to have all of the different high level armors in the most similar settings possible.
  18. Thanks but no thanks Anthony. Come on! Someone must have 3rd Age! And Statius's...
  19. It's not funny. It's not original. It's not gonna happen. Nothing personal, but please just stop saying it. +1, all the lame sailing joke attempts (even if they are sarcastic, like "i know it's lame but I do it anyway so it's even more funny) should be bannable. I'm not trying to be funny... I hate people who think sailing is going to happen and it sounds rather stupid to me. I'm sorry if you are not amused :boohoo: i will refrain from posting anything about sailing in the future.. [hide= ] happy? [/hide] Maybe it's not funny. However, don't you still find it strange that JaGEx should still choose to use the word sailing in anything? And especially considering this particular context, the Underground Pass, which is no where near water or any other use of sailing one could easily come up with? Also, you guys are a little uptight. Dumb jokes don't hurt you, no matter how many times they're said. Simply don't respond and move on. Easy... something to do with prayer update? I've seen this before, a long long time ago too. I doubt it has anything to do with the prayer update. But, I never did figure out how to do this lol That's from picking up the bones that the special skeletal gorillas under Ape Atoll drop and then dropping them again in any other location besides there. Cool effects!
  20. Dang indeed...
  21. I really still need 3rd Age sets! *And Statius's!
  22. I don't understand what you're trying to say... He's hypocritically saying don't give others advice on how to get by and then giving advice himself. Well, at least in the last two lines. The rest of it has meaning but I am unable to divine it at this time.
