I would like to think that some gods take exception to that rule. Armadyl left Runescape because of the loss of his Avianses, and I feel that Itchlarin, the Anubis knock off, prizes free will as well. Didn't he break the control the Devourer had over you? Any intervention is divine intervention, so for the gods to have no control over your destiny would be for them to do nothing at all, ever, including helping you get out of mind control...

NO!!! One of the things I like about runescape is that you don't have to choose because when you choose then you would probably get different rewards in the end. I would like to be able to get every item through hard work and not be limited simply by what side I choose on a quest. The rewards could still be more or less the same. The way the quest played out would be different, though... Anyway, how are you limited if you're the one choosing the reward or path to go?

Can one of our player-to-mod ambassadors ask when we'll finally get a quest where we can choose a god and even change the quest up? I'm not talking about a quest like Hazeel Cult. I mean like a master or even grandmaster quest, where the 'split' between different paths occurs very early. Zamorakians are always in the minority for anything official... :thumbdown:

It isn't nearly as reliable as other Ranged alternatives; I don't think we have to worry about that too much.

Just about the entirety of the replies on this thread are SPAM. Moosecow wasn't asking about what anyone thinks about the legality or morality of "tricking drops" or "tricking potential". If all (obviously referring to people mentioned above) of you want to argue about it, make your own thread. Now, actually addressing the topic... I wouldn't put too much faith into weak Ranged weapons either. Despite what lots of whiners love to repeat over and over, JaGEx isn't stupid. They've already taken away fun weapons (melee) and strike spells (Magic) so why is it that you don't seem to believe that they wouldn't do a preemptive strike on Ranged or Bronze equipment without telling everybody (that is, if they are so obviously against this as some are saying)? I'd go so far as to say they've already undone Bronze-Black melee & Ranged and Chaos tier spells. And if they didn't, then they don't care that much. Simple as that... ... Which means that finding a new effective method for whatever you like to call this practice is going to be more complicated than getting drunk off your [wagon]...

Reward: Ability to add the Fire Cape onto the back of an Achievement Cape, cut strips off of God Capes and add them to the sides on top of that, and imbue with Accumulator abilities, as well as making it -5kg when complete. That'd look awesome, especially if the icon for the Achievement Cape appeared on top of the Fire Cape. My crappy take. :P Although where is the Giant Mole and Tormented Demons? Quest bosses? Revenant clans? Barrows Brothers? PvP-age warriors? There's a lot of potential other than just the ones listed. Rather than just bosses this could include all powerful monsters with special abilities.

Free will isn't a valid argument here.
