20-May-2013: Harvest Heaven
Other than giving my character an improved drink of choice, I'd have to agree with the above. This was one week I was actually looking forward to Solomon's (weapon keepsakes) more than the actual update.. :P

I don't even remember what GWD was "originally" meant to be before it was occupied by all those shit kids. Someone refresh my memory?

I don't see Char, but those are quite interesting. They say God Wars Dungeon do they not? They appear to be statues, likely for the scenery, but I don't recall seeing anything like them there, or even spots that they could be placed.

11-Dec-2012 - Player-Owned Ports
I don't see how the decrease in dropped on death prices for tradable versions should lead to lower street prices since the prices are still quite high comparatively, but I suppose it's a concern for the future.

Wow. Just in case anyone didn't realize, those superior prices were very, very close to nex prices of equivalent slot/class. I'm sure that was the thinking when they were set to those. Not entirely sure why they would set those prices then hotfix them. Nothing J does seems to make sense...

New chinning method 400k+ range xp/hr
I'm trying to give him the benefit of the doubt honestly. Perhaps worlds and respawn rates (for higher populations) could account for some more of the difference? Although, as I seem to remember, abyssal monsters seem to respawn nearly instantly anyway.

For those testing this, do remember Momentum. (I could see that accounting for quite a bit of damage and therefore kills/XP.)

There's one more reward story voyage for plates than for ther others. But I do think Tetsu will remain the most valuable for other reasons.

Got my 6 lacquer from last night, 200/200 for Death Lotus now :D 4/4 DL top 3/4 DL legs 0/4 hood. Sent 5+1 lacquer, plate, and chi tonight, and a scroll, AND got an adventurer reroll afterwards! I don't think it gets much better than this. :)

Guess I won't be meeting that Ga'al because there's no way in hell I'm collecting that many shards. Assuming all that is correct anyway - sounds like a laundry list of bullshit to me. Well, apparently it was actually confirmed by the same teasing J-Mod that's been leading them all along thus far. I guess I can believe it then.

11-Dec-2012 - Player-Owned Ports
Assuming tonight's lacquer voyage succeeds I'll have exactly enough for full Superior Death Lotus. Unfortunately I still haven't gotten 90 Crafting or the scrolls needed. Oh well - I can't think of what I'd want to use it for anyway, hence why it's the last set I'm getting. Is there any place Death Lotus really shines? AGWD, perhaps?

Dear LORD son. Now that's impressive. I'm having trouble determining what even constitutes the bulk of that sum, if anything. You should create a separate tab for just the chewed bone rewards!

Drygore Rapiers or Maces?
would the OH Mace not still be superior just because it's faster, in case I cared to use Momentum or something?
-
Drygore Rapiers or Maces?
I've had Drygore Rapiers for quite a while now. But... if all weapons of the same tier are supposed to have the same DPS, then surely maces are better because they have the huge prayer bonus. Right?

I'm sure I've asked this before, but what should I be making with plates for max value? I actually have quite a sizeable amount now (68, maybe more on the way) and would like to cash in.

Honestly if it were a bit darker and shinier, rather than looking so flat, it would be a lot better, regardless of shape. I don't think the shape is so bad, it just looks a bit crunched together. I'm hoping there's a good reason that it looks like that structurally on the inside. It seems like J is trying to give RS a more cartoony feel by painting things matte. That's at least how relatively newly updated areas look, Burthorpe primarily. And demons, and trolls. I don't think I like it.

30-Apr-2013 - Instanced God Wars & EoC Updates
I was with a friend who was maging. His barrages were doing some damage, but he was using abilities mainly, although those were helping too. I was able to do 2x Flurry per kill, although the 2nd one would occur pretty close to Zilyana dying. The minions respawn nearly instantly as long as Zilyana is still alive. Next time we go, he's going to use a very similar setup/ability bar to mine.

Improving my slayer gear
Aside from the above, you might consider buying a Godsword and Saradomin Sword, as melee slash and crush respectively. Both those and your ZSpear are equivalent in power, although Godswords feature a higher Prayer bonus. Using the correct style for your tasks should at least make these extra purchases worthwhile, especially considering your cashpile.

Tip.It Times - 28th April 2013
I fully agree, Blyaunte! I essentially play exclusively on W42, because as thejollyroger and articles indicate, there is a great relationship between immersion and community. RuneScape itself is casual in many ways - log in, gain some XP, do a quest, do a D&D, log out - but on most worlds it's never really played how I expect a "fantasy" MMORPG to be played, unlike on W42, where people tend to really attempt to fit into the world of Gielinor. W42 is also OutfitScape central, with many inventive and creative combinations that work into those players' assumed characters. I'm not really into the actual RPing scene, past yelling "Eat shit, Saradominist filth!" every once in a while at those blue-hooded deviants, but I enjoy it all the same. :) There are always the detractors though, those who go on W42 knowing full well what its purpose is and serve only to disrupt the joy of those doing their own thing, but as you said, Blyaunte, the prick:player is tolerably and unusually low.

Combat Scrimshaws, Auras
Ah I probably should've specified superior versions, so the crit ones would have 3.0, although I'm sure that doesn't make a big enough difference to use the Ranged/Magic crits over Cruelty and Elements. Oh wait you were right lol my bad. As for auras I was really just wondering what style-specific combat ones might be good. For example Runic Accuracy and Sharpshooter, or Dark Magic. Honestly with the costs of these auras I'll be stuck with Vampyrism (as my best/only combat one) for quite a while (I keep buying gazes :P). The 10%s from Supreme R-Accuracy and Sharpshooter sound pretty enticing, though.
