@Two 3 or Not 2 Three "Weapons and armor have no consistent numerical values attributed them." It's almost like you have no idea what you're talking about, on this point. Everything scales quite logically. Balance has never been better. Of course if you like your level 70 melee 1-handed weapons to have higher DPS than your level 75 2h GODswords and EVERY OTHER THING in the game, I guess you would prefer 07 combat. It's almost as if people always considered combat a chore and just wanted to have a single effective solution to it like everything else. Maybe if people took the time to educate themselves about EoC instead of crying about how different it is, so many people wouldn't hate it... Person A plays tutorial for 5 minutes and decides it's too different to be good. Person A tells person B, "Hey this sucks!" Person B tells person C "EoC sucks!" and it goes on and on in a continuous pattern of ignorance and aversion to change... It's certainly not perfect but that's the reason that there are vast weekly changes - to get it to a point that it can be called a finished product, superior to the original. I do however agree that skilling will always be a grind. And that I will never have a max cape, even in RS3 (tear). The rest of these points aren't really an advantage of either game, but of time and development (as referenced somewhat accurately in the article).

Tactician x 4 or Tactician x 3 and Opportunist for my 10k combat captain? I have both Tactician and Opportunist missions on my rolls. :D Also collected all the cherrywood I needed between last night and today and built 2x telescope and 2x jade artifact. I feel so accomplished! Lol.

JaGEx has finite resources, obviously, so we don't really need them. However - and this may be going a bit overboard - there are many, many variations of weapons that we do not have that each could have their own niche and be easily implemented with the current system. Currently, we have slow, average, fast, and fastest (does very slow/slowest exist?) options for weapon speeds in addition to 1h and 2h options. That's 8 possibilities, but just for one style. We have slash, crush, and stab weapons for melee alone, making that 24 different possible weapons (let's not count off-hands as additional ones) at each tier. If we went by Dungeoneering's rather complete set of tiers, there's 11 tiers (1, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 99 - this not even counting "half tiers" like 75, 85). That's 264 weapons for one point of the combat triangle! Factor in that Ranged has as many possibilities and Magic has essentially 1/3 as many and you've got a huge potential weapon pool to fill.

Not impressed by PS4
There's always a new Killzone or 2 ("Killzone Shadow Fall" on PS4), although honestly past the themes and visuals of KZ2/3 I've found little unique about them. As a Playstation fan - hesitant to call myself a fanboy, as I don't hate the 360/Microsoft - I will eventually get the PS4 since it's simply the next link in the chain. As to OP, exactly what are they to improve upon other than graphics? This question is steeped in ignorance, but what exactly do they need extra power for, gameplay-wise? As for a game I'm looking forward to that will most certainly be on the PS4 (but not PS4 exclusive), I'd say Unreal Tournament 4. For a game that got its start on PCs and is still played (albeit in older iterations) optimally with a keyboard & mouse setup, I can hardly say I've had more fun than I did with UT3 - and even occasionally still - on the PS3.

Dharok's greataxe/Godsword. ^This if you mean a literal 2h whip it just does not make sense. A whip isn't a two handed device; everything about it's design and use makes it 1 handed. Perhaps he means a "fastest" speed 2h weapon? With the way balancing works, it'd actually be quite easy for them to make one. It'd be slightly redundant in the sense that we can already dual-wield 2 "fastest" weapons to nearly the same effect, but different because it would be able to use 2h abilities and not DW. As to how such a weapon would actually function, you'd probably hold the end of it in your left and have your right hand further up, kind of like in the movies when you see someone holding a chain, swinging it on their right side. Of course, a flail-like weapon where you simply replace the end of it with a bladed edge would be more practical. It JUST happened when I clicked this to see if there was any response. Unfortunately I press back on my mouse out of habit, but I do believe it was Hewlett Packard (HP). No "redirecting in 15 seconds" or something like some other sites have.

Sometimes, when accessing these forums or threads on these forums, I'll be redirected to an otherwise blank page with an ad in the center. I've noticed this before, and figured it was probably intentional, but now it's becoming frequent enough to be a bother. It may just be particular ads that do this. I'm not sure, since I just reload Tip.It when it happens (pressing back doesn't work or is slow - also shows how effective this invasive advertising method is :rolleyes:). I'll post a picture of it next time it happens if necessary.

My, what horrendously disfigured legs you have! :P This made me happy. Was able to get off-hand Primal Rapier on my first dungeon trying. For those who haven't seen yet, when you kill a boss that drops the on-hand, they'll automatically drop an off-hand as well, although it's also random, and the 2 probably won't match... Or else I'd have dual Primal Rapiers now.

You clearly didn't read the part where I compared what I had in mind to Pest Control, and the whole italicization of quota in an effort to differentiate it from activity bar. As in, something like doing a certain amount of damage to other players, or at least taking hold of or/and capturing the flags.

They will be tackling the issue around loafers and afk'ers! Well, they said they were aiming to, but with just ticket count or something like that it wont work! Hopefully their tweak to the trim req will be all that is needed for people to cease AFKing. It's been said plenty before, but requiring a much smaller amount of games won, rather than played, would likely rid Castle Wars of most of the loafing and leeching. Alternatively an activity quota, similar to (but hopefully more appropriately executed than) that of Pest Control would be an effective option.

Looking forward to camping SGWD for 4k KC without interruptions! Hopefully instancing means that we'll be able to choose spawn speed and such, like at KK. Also looking forward to using full Hybrid in CWars, and honestly just seeing how they try to modernize it (I'm hoping they do something other than just the graphics and tickets changes. No [bleep]ing activity bar please!!). Dual Primal Rapiers will also be nice, if only because I can use them now knowing that they're as good as any other Primal weapons. Maybe I'll go exotic and use dual daggers or warhammers... it really just depends on what they do with the bind system.

Finally... I feel so complete! 11785 LP max (with CKS, relevant boosts) All that's "kind of" missing is 10 year cape keepsaked (a year from now) and maybe switching to Drygore Longswords, so that I can use better-looking overrides (fashionscape4life).

You're right about those. Those were removed at a certain point with plenty of indication prior, though. I was referring to the few recent ones like Ramokee, 1st Age, and Slayer masks.

They already are doing the latter, except that I don't think they changed the rarity of each individual item. Of course the older items will still be rarer even on uncommon and common due to whatever current promotion (in this case the Armadyl/Bandos stuff) having a much higher chance of appearing.
