Just went to KQ for the Dreadnip task and tried to just kill her since I was already ready, but couldn't. It *seems* like her protection prayers are 100% now. I began with melee and got through her first form with relative ease, tried to melee the 2nd but couldn't, then spent about 2 minutes after that trying to hit her with Magic abilities then gave up... :mellow: EDIT Just got absolutely mopped by Desert Strykewyrms twice lmao. First I went in Bandos with the required FSH/Ancient Staff and tried to just use Magic abilities, then still in Bandos with Blood Barrage + abilities.. both times having to run with low LP. Learned my lesson the third time and had on Gano, but still, that was ridiculous. Even in Gano it took a few minutes to kill.

So 2 adventurer's single ending missions give 25 plates and one of the trio missions gives 50, but are there any duo story missions? I skimmed a great deal of this thread and didn't see any mention of such.

I like this point the most. If you wouldn't do it without a strong XP or item incentive it needs to be changed. Unfortunately that includes A LOT of things...

Beat Sunfreet. Wasn't very difficult when I used Ranged and didn't clumsily walk into fire fields. Dual-wielded Chaotic Crossbows. Sunfreet has a 500 damage cap but Ranged thresholds hit that rather frequently.

One of my captains was renamed today from simply "The Shih" to "The Accursed Shih." Not really sure why.

How much better is a critical hit than a normal hit?

What does the "Critical" mean? What does it do? Can I get it any higher than this without a Scrimshaw of Strength?

Anyone have "Quick Learner"? I'd assume it's just quicker XP gains but I'd like to know the details since the mission to gain it is has fairly high (triple 5.5k iirc) requirements. RSWiki doesn't list it but they do list "Fast Learner" which is 10%. I'm not really sure what use having either on a captain is though.

I hope they make more Chaotic-infused weapons. Godswords and Zamorakian Spears for starters. I asked for this during beta and still think it'd be a good idea to recycle these weapons rather than just leave them as inferior as they are (even if it's only a 5 level gap). I'd like to see the entire black part on my ZGS replaced with Chaotic material! I'm going to make an educated guess and say that the [Right-handed] Chaotic Claw will be equal to the Abyssal Vine Whip since they're both tier 80 fastest slashing weapons, but with a bonus crit chance and degrading. The Off-hand should also have a crit chance though. Will that make the set better for Momentum slaying than AVW+EEE? Also I'm hoping J will continue to fill out tier 80 weapons. They'll still be relevant as long as tier 90 is difficult to get, and I assume that the more desirable weapons like 2H swords and mauls will be relatively more difficult as well, like how Primal weapons begin with daggers and end with spears and 2H swords.

Just from reading over the RSOF a bit I'm gathering that most of the uninformed don't know enough about the situation to realize that the reroll exploit and instant completion bug are not one and the same. However I haven't the slightest idea which one Woox purportedly took advantage of. I've been assuming thus far that he's done the latter as a credit to some more [seemingly] knowledgeable individuals I've seen commenting on it. My original comment (on the first page) was made assuming that people did know the difference and thus were accusing him/that he was guilty of actual bug abuse but I'm no longer sure.

Collectively I'm pretty much a week behind most of the people here, which means I can take advantage of what you've learned from your mistakes! I've only had a day in the Scythe so far. I already have the cherrywood rudder but not a third ship yet. Should I get Scythe crew then go back to farm bamboo? More specifically, what and how many of each crew should I focus on getting?

Slightly concerned now lol. I only had the Occultist once, at the very, very beginning (when I did the "Meet the Occultist" mission). See, the thing about RS is that when shit happens it could just be down to [bad] luck. Orrr J could have broken something, somewhere, with some update, and I won't know the difference until patch notes months from now with something vague like, "Fixed an issue with the chance of having the Occultist visit your port if you didn't have 90 Thieving but had all other skills."

Has anyone bothered to buy a portal upgrade? I'd like to know if it changes anything else besides the portal, like the ground or the overall theme of the port (not that I have any reason to assume it does...).

Would the Waterfall resource dungeon not be even better than the Waterfall room itself? There are no rats to waste ammo on and more Fire Giants anyway IIRC.

I don't think you can actually buy Ahrim's Wand & Book for the GE prices. They'll probably run you several million more. I'd suggest picking up a Master Wand, which is currently less than 1m and only one tier below Ahrim's (tier 60 and 70, respectively), while also providing a Magic crit (no other Magic weapon does this as far as I know). As for an off-hand, Grifolic Orbs are only tier 60 (same as Master Wand) but cost ~30k. If fighting something using its correct weakness the loss of accuracy is negligible.

Umm, did these come with the update? They've been there as long as I've been standing here with no owners in sight. Ones nearby each other share the same names. If not a glitch this really is a tasteless promotion... EDIT I think it was just someone f'n around. I checked a few other worlds after doing the rest of the statues and they don't have SGS pets just sitting there.
