Decided I needed one more picture before JaGEx potentially kills off 15 of them tomorrow or Wednesday.

So I managed to complete two lore missions (one of which I'd failed previously) but my % to Hook didn't move at all...? What voyages increase your progress to the next area?

Hadn't seen the Solarus Shield one before, but that odd stripy glitch seems to happen with a lot of gear. And Corruption Aura, for that matter. Strangely, after I cleared the JaGEx cache and began using the client a few weeks ago, during Ariane's quests every object with any glowing effect would be rendered as a solid geometric shape, slowly growing in complexity.

Ah, I did one of my Assassin's missions last night and actually succeeded but was sad that I didn't get a cutscene. I didn't realize that story missions had that book symbol. Can you actually get on your boats? I don't see any way to... (It tells me I can't reach that.)

I think I realized as much earlier in the thread, but I'm hoping that a month or so of [hopefully complete] PoP will be enough to unlock all the islands necessary. EDIT Didn't notice this before, but Port titles! Available from Customization Interface.

I know, and I love it tbh. Many years have I attempted to stich together exactly what is "RS logic"! Which, after careful deliberation, is basically, "Go by what is explained. For everything else, there is magic!"

What sane crew would risk their lives for a chest of sealed canisters of gunpowder when they clearly have enough to operate two cannons or more? See, logic doesn't really work here...

In every one of these threads related to SGS the element of the player base who played to earn high-profile [mostly] cosmetic outfits is under or mis represented. Me, namely. That's why I care so little these days about how XP is being devalued... My goal of gameplay has long since been torched.

Can't do either of the special missions, they req 5k and 6k (scroll) combat I think. Oh well... I'm a little behind I guess. Anyway, am I right to assume that one could receive all of the scrolls for one of the rewards before being able to get the resources to craft it? Or is it too early to tell? It seems like, with a bit of luck, you could be getting a scroll mission a day or more, possibly.

I've been using VW + EEE for nearly all of my Slayer, just hadn't really noticed honestly. What does the Full Slayer Helmet itself actually do now?

What actually is EEE's effect? Also my friend had to reclaim his after losing it to the Dags yesterday. Is there any additional step after reclaiming it from the Lady of the Lake needed to get that extra -E in there, assuming one's done Seers Elite? There doesn't appear to be anything in the examine or name hinting that it's different...

I can't imagine the yip would've made that much difference, but I take Steel everywhere. My defense/LP bonuses should've been about the same as yours, unless you used a helm with decent stats over FSH.

-.- Fire Giants are pretty much the same thing as Tower Dagannoths. The difference is that there are less of them, but they hit much higher with Ranged (I saw 500s) and Deflect Missiles wasn't helping much. My co-op Slayer partner and I were each cannoning, him in the resource dungeon and I in the room before it in Baxtorian. Without Soulsplit on pretty much constantly I was dropping quickly, but at least the task was pretty fast.

My friend was complaining of someone trying to "stalk" him after he insulted gamblers at the GE. [spoiler=Relevant or just amusing? You decide!]

They're fine in melee gear and Deflect Missiles. Don't try Soulsplit or you will get f'd though... Well, like I said, when there's not someone else to soak up some of the damage anyway. But then, what's the point of SSing VS Deflect Missiles if you have to have it on the entire time anyway, right?
