  1. Existing Magic weapons changed/new ones introduced that aid using a single specific element of Magic. There should be 4 varieties of dual wield/2h equipment at each tier - one for each element, similar to how melee/Ranged are with their styles determined by their weapons. I might go so far as to say that one of the 4 elements should be removed/changed so that the three combat styles each have 3 styles of their own. Perhaps air should be changed to simply be a "neutral" attack. IF I remember correctly using the correct style weakness against an enemy gives you a 15% bonus, so using this neutral style should just give 5% against any of the 3 remaining elements. Melee and Ranged could also have this added, especially considering melee already has/had its own version (controlled).
  2. I'm trying to finish up the skills I need to make the most of Player-Owned Ports. I'm not overly concerned with speed, so please provide options that are a compromise between speed and cost, if available. What should I do to get from 84 to 90 Crafting? I've been making Broad Arrows for Fletching. Should I continue doing so or is there a better/comparable option? I need to get from 90 to 95 for Scrimshaws of Strength. Unrelated but I might as well ask here: Does the Void set still require gloves for the bonus?
  3. I think that they're decently good money if you ever get gloves. I know I get around 1.2m from normal drops in an hour consistently. With a glove drop here and there that could average out to 5m an hr for a fairly easy monster to farm. Glove prices seem to be hovering around the same marks they were at, too.

  5. This is pretty much a response to the first post, so sorry if it's not on current-topic. I really want to see lower-level gear able to be upgraded into higher-level gear via methods achievable with the lower-level gear. For a very specific example, I'd like to see, say, the QBD's Dragonbone Kits actually upgrade the stats of Dragon or Royal Dragonhide to something worth using at the levels required. For another, I'd like to see Nex and POP gear required for the creation of level 90 gear. As in, you would have to sacrifice both Torva and Tetsu (and Steadfasts and Pneumatics) for level 90 melee gear, rather than it just being dropped by some new really-hard-to-kill-until-exploit boss monster. What I absolutely hate is that so many items require a much higher level to obtain them than you would possibly use them at (granite and dragon!), and things like Chaotics, which take so much time and effort to get are hardly factored into the equation of obtaining their replacers. If it had been up to me, I would have had the KK drop only UPGRADE pieces, intended to bring Chaotic weapons up to level 90, so that all that previous work spent obtaining them wasn't rendered entirely meaningless. I'm not saying I would rather have people use a Bronze Longsword, constantly upgrading, eventually to a Drygore Longsword, though. I just think that no "difficult to get" gear should be rendered completely worthless at higher levels.
  6. I'd just like to point out that Zaros has had "vampyric" traits associated with him since the first armor rework (Ancient rune). Also, didn't Drakan originally serve Zaros before joining Zamorak in glorious upheaval?
  7. I haven't gotten any in a while either. How strange... Glad they "fixed" it anyway, I'm going to really need them in 1 Thieving level. Also, slightly-related, but I've gotten the Occultist far fewer times than any other adventurer, possibly even 10 times or less. I don't even know what story mission she's on.

  9. Have they ever made the update teaser picture one of Solomon's? I wouldn't mind if it were a cosmetic override. I'd actually like it very much if they started making all holiday rewards overrides rather than actual items.

  11. Must you only complete the quest to kill automatons and have the Slayer level? Or is there something else?
  12. I think either Meteor Strike or Incendiary Shot. It's not even critical :P. It won't work in PvP though. Berserk is another option, idk. It was Berserk + Assault. Why won't it work in PvP though? I had wondered if there was some damage boost at automatons. This was also in Void, since that can't be seen in the picture.

  14. Only auto-attacks activate the area-of-effect of Ancients. Since the entire point of using Ancients is to hit several targets at once, and dual-casting has very quick auto-attacks, a wand+book would probably be better. You didn't think it was a bit slow without abilities? The truth is, actually, that several of Magic's abilities aren't great for general use, and there aren't enough for a full rotation here, as someone else said. Dual-wielding with Momentum on several targets is sounding even better.
  15. This is with a wand and book correct? At least, I think those would be far more effective if you're not using abilities since abilities don't have area of effect for barrages. I meleed them with void, d-rapiers and steel for a while and was killing them quite fast. Is there some damage bonus against automatons? I hit extremely high with thresholds after using Berserker, which is kind of the point, but I saw a 6.9k from one hit. Maybe that's partly from the DW rebalance, I dunno. Their drops more than pay for Overloads at this rate, so I think I'll camp a while yet.
  16. Figured I should add that Thaerisk has some additional dialogue, although like pretty much everyone else it isn't of much importance. He's upstairs across from the Summoning building in Taverly if you did ROTM. Kaqemeex doesn't say anything new.

  19. Once I had one random immediately follow another, and it's worth noting that the second one replaced the first one. This has happened to me as well. I was also only able to do the second one.

  24. -.- Demon boss also a few hits from death. No, it doesn't matter that I tanked it the entire time, I still don't get a drop. These are actually fairly difficult with a group of less than 5... I would've just risked it if the boss didn't appear to have both Fragentation Shot and random healing.
  25. I used to hit the logout timer quite often when I DGed fervently, especially with RSW44. :P The only times I've gotten into the double-digits were for finishing MA, Livid, and unlocking Slayer Helm. I can't force myself to play that long anymore though, and I don't believe I've ever skilled even until the logout timer before.
