Hopped a few worlds, couldn't seem to find a good example of how the Ranging Guild one is done. It really isn't as simple as I thought from the instructions lol... And most I've seen trying are only failing.

I haven't really felt like playing much lately either, and in fact the only two extended periods I've logged in were to see the new Chaos Elemental and today to do the new quest. It was probably Nex and the new T8 armors that really sent me down hill, and FT that pretty much ended it for me. I've played for years since, I believe, a few weeks after RS2 was released. I remember someone saying how 400m for a full armor set was "nothing"... Kinda shocked me, as do these people making 10-20m an hour in FT. Makes me feel like there's no point in trying to make money anymore - Like I'm wasting my time. This of course being coupled with the T8 armor sets going to even higher prices over the trade maximums... There's just no point anymore.

Got this a few days ago... Was probably my only goal left that I will foreseeably finish. Emote is lousy and it's small but still unique I guess...

Is the Spirit Cape Dungeoneering reward worth buying now that it affects Unicorn Stallion scrolls? What does it actually do, exactly? How much do scrolls heal with 99HP? Where do Torva, Virtus, and Pernix come into this?? I couldn't name where, but I heard that you can drastically increase your survivability WITHOUT the new armors with the cape, uni, and scrolls...

Can you tell me why you have a switch for just about every piece of equipment? He wrote a program that switches all equipment in 1 click. That sounds pretty damn neat. How did you manage that? Is that in 1 tick or whatever too? I'd feel like I was playing Prototype and had just switched disguises or something lol.

which proves that restricting trade was ineffective at fighting bots we already know that restricting trade was ineffective at fighting RWT, so what exactly has it accomplished? and why exactly should the restrictions remain? I feel like the best question is what they actually did so that the effects of RWT didn't and haven't overcome the game like they predicted they would. You know, if the restrictions were as ineffective as you think.

I don't know why it needs to be closed since the little bit of official evidence points to it being in production. But IDGAF either way...

Except, that, y'know, that would make no sense. Zaros having been a thousand years banished when the Godsword was created and all. Except, ya'know, if they can merge Zaros into the godwars, they can pretty much do anything, no matter how ugly it will be. I bet they could merge the internet into runescape without much of a hassle(playing funorb games on a rs character, ey?). Yeah, I'm still pretty annoyed about shoehorning Zaros into the GWD, story-wise. A Zaros Godsword would still be 50x more plot fail though. I do understand that the removal of the Wilderness was just as unfair as the removal of free trade, but there's really no reason that they can't improve upon it during its reintroduction, especially given what has been said about how the poll isn't the best representation of players' true wishes.

Uhm no, it's a package that always comes together. JAgex stated at the very first replies after wilderness removal that they had to do that because free trade removal without wilderness was meaningless.. So wilderness removal was an unwanted, yet unavoidable side effect from free trade removal.. So the vote is very clear: it is a package.. As without free trade, the old-style-wilderness is stupid. And with free trade the game mechanics which were there from the start of runescape 2 should always return.. Especially as jagex said that the removal was only a side effect! Seems like Ginger repeated what I said right after I said it, paraphrased in a more intellectual way. :wink: What I don't understand is why you and Pulli insist on the stupidity of an all-or-nothing system. It's obvious to me that if they had separated the options and free trade had still gotten a majority while the Wilderness had gotten a much smaller [and ever-so-likely truer] portion of the votes, JaGEx would have simply kept PvP worlds separate but with 'true drops'. Something like: "An overwhelming majority would like free trade back without the Wilderness. However, supporters of the Wilderness also came in in high numbers, so we'll be converting the existing PvP worlds to the pre-removal drop system. This way, we hope to make both the majority of our player base and the PK'ers happy!"

Surely the second vote proves that 91% of voters did indeed want the wilderness back. Whether or not Jagex did lie about the first vote being a petition is irrelevant to the fact that the second vote shows without a doubt that over 90% of players want the old systems back. Due to various reasons you can't be sure that there are 90%+ players that want it, but this is irrelevant .. because it clearly shows that MORE people want it, which is enough. No, you can't be sure that 91% of voters wanted the WILDERNESS back. If they had had A) Wilderness back B) Free trade back C) BOTH back or D) NEITHER back we'd see some true numbers... Or, even better, the check-box kind of thing they do with other polls. That tiny little bit of extra effort to check the box next to "Wilderness" would probably cause many voters to simply overlook it, while have a "BOTH back" option would have players just go "Heh yeah the Wilderness won't hurt me"... The vote was incredibly skewed for the simple fact that players are willing to accept the BAD that will come with the Wilderness for the GOOD that will come from free trade.

I had to go check for myself that it wasn't in quick-chat. That picture looks rather legit. Did you pull it from the cache or something? And, I didn't realize it until now, but other than poison, the existing Godswords share a lot of Ancient Magicks' effects...

In the link I posted, which was one of the few "official" sources out there, they mentioned Visceral, the key makers behind Dead Space and now Dead Space 2... - Uh, rereading it, it's not the entire team but a few members from it. Still, I guess. They do a good job. And despite all the protests on this thread, I expect that most people will pick up the next CoD from brand loyalty, no matter how dumb the after-title is. Going to get on the PS3 now and see if that kid every messaged me back... <_< - Nope, he's probably in school right now. A year younger than me, if I remember correctly. Anyway, you guys know that even a futuristic shooter in the CoD franchise is going to be as realistic as possible... It's not just about the weapons or the tech but how they show it implemented.

I know I'm putting myself on the skewer here since all over TIF it's "Pics or it didn't happen" but here's the [short] story: I got on my PS3 and scrolled over to my friends list to see who was on and this one kid [whom I met at school but don't talk to often] who plays and has played Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 [seemingly without pause to try out Black Ops] since it came out was on "Call of Duty: Future Warfare"... I [almost immediately] started sending him a message to ask what it was but he logged out before I finished typing it. I still sent it and he's usually on when I get on so hopefully he'll answer soon. I've checked the PlaystationStore but they have nothing on it - no demos, game trailers, not even an entry. It is also not an add-on to an existing title. YouTube has nothing official as far as I could see, and similar searches on Bing reveal nothing more than the title being registered... You cannot fake what it shows you playing on on the PS3. This particular individual has, as I said, played CoDMW2 since it came out and to this day [with his comment declaring 11th prestige - I believe that's what it said, but you cannot view their comment when they'e offline] and my best guess would be that he's earned some sort of beta testing spot.
