staking world?
You can't just login and look at the theme world designations?

End of an Era... probably...
never heard of him. he's 14 years old. I find it hysterical that people are still saying there's stuff wrong with runescape after the wildy came back.

Kris Barrage Commentary Update [[pk account]]
Its nice but unless you go on a rampage like you did on the first vidded kill your probably going to lose money unless some pures are fully decked out.

The Running Thread
I'm still alive. Training got interupted by a stupid ankle sprain and because of a ski trip I didn't get to run indoor. I got a pair of nike frees instead of vibrams and they're very nice. My season starts in about 1.5 weeks with a scrimmage hopefully it will be decent. whens everyones first meets?

Range tank staking
"helicopter" is probably morrigans throwing axe. a huge javelin is morrigans javelin. for stakes over 1mil you should probably be using either of them aswell.

Why I love runescape
That's more of the reception i was hoping for. thanks guys. Usually I just wear no arm, d scim, or msb when asking people to stake but I often get people who then want to no arm, which is not my strong suit. My goal is to move up to 10mil daily with ease while keeping it fun. Unfortunately I'm one of those people who only has serious time to play on weekends and days off from school/running but i will continue posting pictures and ultimately a commentary video if interest is sufficient and larger winnings are apparent. Outside of staking I'm working on a fury, dfs, and 88 herb/73 smithing to get EEE. Stat wise for staking I'm probably going to try to move up to 85 defense with 97 or 98 range since a lot of people i staked were levels 106-110 (I'm 96+7). continue commenting \:D/

Staking HIGH amounts (82 f2p combat) 50M+
Yeah I've (sadly) seen videos of people DDoSing during stakes and its painful to watch. I forgot about the food healing aspect entirely in these stakes. I think moderators should remove the link to his email or he should provide a simple explanation why he would ask for email or even come to tip.it (of all places) to stake?

Staking HIGH amounts (82 f2p combat) 50M+
Very, very keen observation. I wouldn't have even thought of that. Although most people would have auto retaliate on or already be attacking him by that time don't you think? to mike- did he in any way insist on you adding him or emailing him? otherwise I think we should just let him be and go about his business.

No Jagex, I will not try another world.
There's no reason for jagex to have more than 2k in a world. It's not like there's ever 2,000 people all trying to do the same thing. World 2 might have been close but look at the lag fest that often was.

54-70 Prayer
EE is extremely worth it. if you pvp or pvm a lot, I seriously would go as far as saying buy frost dragon bones to get 70, its that good and I'm mad at myself for waiting so long.

Why I love runescape
Done staking for the day. Finally lost one stake for 150k. Made over 2.4mil total.

Why I love runescape
Not many level 88's can resist 1mil vs 100k ps: above how in the hell are your members stats that high after less than two months?? I thought I used to have unhealthy playing habits..

Why I love runescape
Hi I'm noble aloof. The only reason I've continued playing runescape over the years was because of the adrenaline I used to experience with staking. Today after finally getting enhanced excalibur, and after three years (of slacking) of shaping my account, I have not lost a single stake and have made over 2mil. My biggest stake was arma helm for a d bow (cleaned the guy for about 900k total). I'm not raking in hundreds of millions, but I'm having consistent fun in runescape for the first time in recent memory Basically I item hide and win. I often double, triple, and quad stake. Winning brings me much happiness. I just had to share a picture from a 100k stake. Just EE specced and shot some d bolts. He did not hit me once. Have a good day Depending on critic response this thread might turn into a hall of fame where I post ridiculously lucky, ridiculously good, or strange stakes. i'm not interested in posting a chain of 100k pics.

Staking has made me stupid!
Funnel it into a pure or two for pking and another staker. It will bring the fun back into the game for you.

Luring
Way back in the day I was selling something on the forums and some guy said to meet him at edgeville monastery. I had my entire bank of 3 or 4 mil on me (this was 06 or 07). The guy then said that he had to tele to edge and to meet him at bank. For those of you who weren't around, to get around the piece of land between oziak and the monastary you had to go into level 4 or 5 wilderness. so i'm going around and the guy pops up and starts using the weakest ice spell on me. I didn't even start freaking out like most 12 or 13 year olds would. I don't even think he tried to dds me. i just turned protect from mage on and ran out of the wild (i had full torags on). My memory is so fuzzy that i think this actually might have been on my old main. Another story on my old main actually happened on my birthday.. I was poor and always rocked full torags. One day i decided i wanted a whip. So I traded full torags for whip which was actually a decent deal. i killed some chickens with it, ate breakfast, then came back and decided i wanted to merchant. Some guy was buying a warrior ring 3mil and some guy was trading a warrior ring for a whip.. Guess what I did. I barely ever recovered before getting banned. edit: I don't think luring should be against the rules. For me it was a learning experience.

Zammy page prices
I spent 6mil on it a little over a year ago and i thought that was excessive, especially considering I rarely use it. It will come down maybe about 50-100k a page in the coming weeks but if you want it, its really not worth waiting for.

did I miss a mass ban?

Getting "Good Grades"
I'm the only child in a family in which my dad is a teacher and my grandfather was a mathematician and executive for a company i'd rather not name. My mother was "gifted" growing up so my intellectual development was carefully fostered. In elementary school, which was public school, I was considered the smartest guy in my class. a 96 was considered a low grade and the only two (or four, can't remember) B+'s i got from grades 1-5 on a report card were in 3rd grade. i was scolded. There were two girls in my class about the same intelligence level as I. I never had to study, i just retained information well. I did do homework and took it very seriously. my elementary school was a very caring environment and i spend 95% of my free time on dial up internet or playing video games. i was considered a nerd. Enter middle school grades 6-8. Now i live in a city of under 100,000 people, but i can tell you that this place was rough. I had about 3 or 4 teachers who did absolutely nothing and somehow managed to keep their jobs. The learning disabilities, ESL kids, and distractions in every class were terrible. I don't remember my specific grades but i did very well and i finished middle school with a 97.2 average (found my report card some months ago). i was also told that i was top 15 in my class. One of the aforementioned girls was #5 in the class. I had to start cracking out the books to study once in awhile and did go on a bit of an 8th grade slide. I really didn't feel too much pressure or reason to spend the extra time, i'm sure i could have been top 5 had i spent an hour a night on it. High school. This is probably where stuff changes for a lot of people. I got out of the public school system and went to the local private school. I quickly realized that middle school did not prepare me for the academic rigours of the place, so i started being lax and copying homework. Mainly in latin. When you do that in an introductory course in a language that is required for at least two years, it is very stupid. I ended up just getting high 70s low 80s for my 9th and 10th grade years. also the concept of a theology class was very strange and hard to grasp for me. My mom and grandma pushed me very hard to get my grades up in these classes. because of some low grades and an 88 average i was not allowed into any honors or ap courses Junior year even though my parents forced me to apply to several. So i ended up taking joke courses. at the same time, i decided to start taking school serious. I spend 2-4 hours on homework each night and blast through assignments, in class participate like a mad man and flex my intellectual dominance over the b and c students of my school. Two teachers have noticed and have asked me to move into more advanced classes. My parents have noticed my complete turn around. the only class i struggle in from time to time is chemistry. i actually enjoy learning. my year to date average is about a 93. for the record, that girl who was #5 in my class in middle school actually goes to school with me, she doesn't even make honors. I thank you for this thread because it allowed me to reflect on my educational experiences up to this point. tl;dr Was a genius in elementary school, got spanked for B+. Went to a hellhole of a middle school that had no standards or real education outside of math and english and got what many would consider great grades, there was not much pressure on me because my grades appeared so high. Was pressured into going to private high school (where i knew nobody) and found myself overwhelmed and not willing to step up to the challenge, eventually to find a rekindled love for learning through self discovery and dedication.

Stupid guilt story to get off my chest
Thank you all for your responses. I just want to clarify that i did in fact take drivers ed courses and do get a discount on insurance. I also want to point out that though the houses are relatively close together, this neighborhood is not considered "city". it is a new development (within the last 10 years) and there are no sidewalks, some houses still do not have grass front lawns. there are about 20-40 houses in the development (somehow my friend failed to mention 3 are cops). Furthermore, every house has a driveway and cars aren't allowed to park on the street (though the street is wide enough to accomodate) To give an update to the story, his grandmother actually witnessed the whole conversation with the police officer but did not mention it when i went into his house. talk about embaressing. he also, as suggested, cannot drive with me in the future. edit: this is mainly to the below post. I'm not in any way defending my actions, but i stress that this is not a typical neighborhood. at the top of the hill, its a dead end, the street that i sped up branches to two culdesacs with about 5 houses each. the stop sign that i went through is a dead end at one side. there is absolutely no thru traffic and i mentioned the lack of sidewalks to infer that combined with the steepness of the hill and no cars parking outside- nobody is, or has any reason to be, on the street.

Stupid guilt story to get off my chest
Okay so i got my license last friday.. I drive my mom's car its a pretty nice 07 with low mileage and a v6 so as a teenage kid i'm very content with it. She doesn't let me drive to school due to the fact that she uses the car in the day and as of right now i can only drive until about 7 at night. she told me i couldn't have any friends in the car without her permission Friday i didn't drive at all. Saturday i drove down to the local running store and bought a pair of shoes, then instead of going home i picked up two old neighborhood friends (which i wasn't supposed to do) and went for a 20 minute joyride, then returned home promptly. fast forward to today my friend ended up at my house after an early dismissal, and since i was the first one he picked up with his license, i tried to honor him as best i could and took him home. we blasted music, went a little fast, just did stupid kid things, then we get to the bottom of this at least mile long hill right before his development. he looks at me, i look at him, half the neighborhood is still at work. the kids are still in school, and the car has fresh tires on it. We knew what i had to do. before I put the car in neutral and revved to an unheathly amount of RPMs, i asked him "Are you sure theres no way i'll get in trouble?" "yeah" he said. So i burned out, ran a stop sign then realize a gigantic supply truck barreling towards me so i slowed down to about 5mph and got out of the way. the majority of the hill was still ahead of us, infact it barely started sloping upwards yet. After the truck passed i just floored it up the hill, i saw the speedometer hit 75 and though i had time to hit 85 (goes to a long dead end) i decided enough was enough and that there was no point in going that fast. so i slow down, put my blinker on to turn, and creep up the hill when suddenly my friend starts yelling "GO!! GO!!! KEEP GOING!". I ignore him and keep taking it slow, im beginning to turn and i see in my rearview a white car modeled like a police cruiser gunning it up the hill. "my neighbors an ex-cop!! my neighbors an ex-cop! quick get to my house". I still barely make the connection and i park in front of his house and tell him goodbye. then by the expression on his face i realized that we were being pursued. I pulled into his driveway and he starts running into his house. i get out and take two clumsy steps before the guy parks and beeps his horn fanatically. gets out, in a full suit and tie, and shows me his badge. doesn't ask my name or anything, just says that three cops live in this development and if they ever see this red car speeding or driving recklessly again, they will gladly give me a ticket. this whole time you can smell the rubber burning from the tires and brakes. What makes this story even more unfortunate is that he doesn't even know his neighbors, at all. So we go into his house, im shocked, he is shaking. his grandma is at the kitchen table knitting. we get upstairs, "what if my grandma heard it.. holy ****". i can't take just sitting there and drive carefully home. 10 minutes ago he calls me, the conversation went like this "guess what, my grandma heard the entire conversation.. she told my mom.. i can never drive with you again" tl;dr don't drive fast, 2 kids in my grade have died from automobile accidents in the past 2 years. new drivers beware the allure of speed.

My First Time Staking
Getting cleaned is not fun. I've lost my entire cash pile three times already but that's because my money is in items. I've been gradually recovering by finding people to double stake and occasionally having to item hide or hustle. The biggest take I've lost was 700k partially because range staking 1mil+ at my level requires morrigans.
