  1. just realized that. its not even that obvious until you view it a view times. originally i was planning on using the song "fire" by odb, which is why i put the text there. yeah it looks bad lol at the end? i believe that was the "beam" effect. true. i tried to make it colorful, playful, while being somewhat abstract. when i decided to change the song, the snow didn't really fit and the red glow on black backgroun made it look too serious. the help is appreciated. its just frustrating that it took me 2+ hours to create this because of RAM issues.
  2. LMAO that made my day  I am genuinely pleased at the fact that several of my fellow tip.it'ers have found humor in at least one of my many comical endeavors.
  3. yes, they are. i'd recommend not getting nike [bleep]es because nike ALWAYS puts a [bleep]e under the ball of the foot which makes running on hard ground extremely painful. you could put a stud there, but nike's often only have 4 [bleep]es my [bleep]es for next xc season (a little expensive) http://www.saucony.com/ShoeDetails.aspx?gen=m&use=Race&id=1144&rel=1110,1115,1083,1128,1086,1093,1089,1116,1090,1144,1142 [bleep]e configuration: stud under the ball of the foot. i have heard of people putting a shorter track [bleep]e under the pinky toe, i am not sure why. my [bleep]es from last year: http://store.nike.com/index.jsp?sitesrc=uslp&country=US&lang_locale=en_US#l=shop,pdp,ctr-inline/cid-1/pid-186614/pgid-186615 config: studs under ball of the foot -honestly i kind of liked these shoes. very responsive and lightweight but i feld like i could have gotten more bang out of them.
  4. quite honestly, if i was a hurdler this would be my shoe: http://www.asicsamerica.com/products/product.aspx?PRODUCT_ID=240013278&TITLE_CATEGORY_ID=250001544&PARENT_CATEGORY_ID=250001538 or this http://www.mizunousa.com/equipment.nsf/0/B02713CEDA9780708525752F0052BAEF?opendocument&div=Running&cat=footwear-mens i'd start off with this shoe though, until i nearly eliminated heel striking (i'd say this is a beginners shoe): http://www.asicsamerica.com/products/product.aspx?PRODUCT_ID=240012235&TITLE_CATEGORY_ID=250001543&PARENT_CATEGORY_ID=250001538 does anybody have any suggestions for a new shoe for next cross country season? i'm alright with asics but i'm hearing great things about the mizuno wave. let me know.
  5. well, first off you should make sure that you are in-shape enough to run a mile or two at a decent pace. i say this because 5'10'' at 170 (to someone of my weight) seems like you might be slightly out of shape. i re-read and realized that you said you are a body builder, which explains your weight. i trained a little with the hurdlers/sprinters.. heres some cool stuff to do: 1. ladders. you know, football players use them for footwork. as a hurdler, steering and control over your steps can be very helpful. buying a ladder is probably less than $10. we would run maybe a 15 meter ladder in X amount of time. i found this to be very helpful (even as a distance and 400 runner) 2. learn to relax your shoulders and always keep your feet straight. this happens to all runners. especially when you are jumping, your shoulders and feet play a big part in your performance. always be conscience of your foot angle. it should always be as straight as possible. often hurdlers will twist their foot a little before jumping- its a bad habit. as far as your shoulders go- make sure they are always relaxed and that you stretch them good. 3. practice your steps and strides. start to get a method down. make sure you always stretch your range of motion before practicing i'm not sure what else you can use for hurdle practice. even "practice" hurdles cost a ton of money. ps- as far as shoes go, i'd dish out at least $90.. you need good padding because all that jumping will kill your knees and shins. its also important to make sure you aren't heel-striking upon landing. OUCH edit- i talked to one of my friends that does hurdles. i'm not sure how serious he was being but he said jump roping really helps.
  6. i saw one yesterday (he added me) he was 20 atk, 72 str, 45 defense and 61 hp i think his cb level was low aswell he was maxing 20's.. he was getting crap kills and still kinda getting owned by pure rangers. but heres why they should all get 20 atk- [yt]CLXZ-9gS7sM[/yt]
  7. ruining a 9 hp account is like pissing in the holy water.
  8. well i think you can get rune or addy gloves at 20 defense. i thought you needed like 30+ prayer to wear initiate? if your gonna be 11 prayer there no poin tin prayer enhancing gear tbh.
  9. probably not, you can never be ranged based with that atk and str level. where is your mage level
  10. no. 75-75 with 80 magic? puh-lease.
  11. everyone always says i'm failed and that i can't pk. why is this?
  12. i'll be doing part two any day now.. it'll be cool to finish it up while the story is still fresh in my mind.
  13. i lol'd so hard. the problem with these merch clans is that barely any of the people know how the ge works or what they're doing. they're a bunch of tools. its obvious that jagex intervened. mmk had something to do with it if he was IN goldmerch (and he seems to know the lingo pretty well) i've been a member of an investing clan for almost 2 years now. we've lost a lot of our members to these noob buy-out clans. the clan i'm in has only done one buy-out, and that was top hats last summer. every member of the chat has made millions by investing and flipping alone. this is (quite honestly) what all merchant clans should be like. i'm so glad jagex screwed these guys.
  14. didnt read the whole post, but i make prayer potions for herby exp tbh. i don't lose that much off my profits either. in three weeks i went from 420k cash to 4.9mil cash (thats what it will be once i sell my prayer pots tomorrow) when i get my herby high enough i'll start doing super restores, because frankly, although they make less average profit per seed, i loss less money from making them into potions.
  15. well i'd like to apologize then. occasionally when my browser is running slow i'll view tip.it on my ipod touch (yesterday would be a good example) i don't understand why he would need it all organized into an app when it is already organized into a(n) (easily viewable and organized) website.
  16. yeah same here i love showing the ladies their way around asgarnia while at parties. occasionally i'll let them know all about the cold war quest guide if i need to break the ice.
  17. i know its not really an amazing display of what adobe can do. i'm still working on it. unfortunatly my computers RAM makes rendering previews extremely slow. i realized after uploading that i messed up the layer with the picture that i shattered, for some reason it was not as big as the layer behind it. i could not figure out how to get transitions to work and i feel as if this video was kind of choppy because of it. connorb, i remember seeing that intro a few days ago. i see the camera tool really makes an intro stand out.
  18. awesome.. your current sig is dumb i liked your old one plz update tabs :D
  19. i know its not up to par with other AE videos but meh its my first legit try at it. what i hate about it: the outer layer doesnt fit the layer behind it i left text in the first second of it the red glow on black is just too serious for the song snow is pointless there were no transitions looks mediocre for AE what i like about it: how "noble aloof" looks the smashing effect to the wave generation the song  the final portion (presents) for some reason it makes a good channel icon
  20. i woke up this morning and saw it.. sooooooo sick why did you use summon pets though?
  21. Whoa I want some. Did you have to order them online? are they expensive and can i use them in a meet? They sell them in retail stores (check the vibram five finger website for a store locator), but it's cheaper to get them online. They cost $80, give or take depending on the kind you go with (get the KSO's; I'll also be buying the "Flow" for the winter as those have thermal type material). As for wearing them in a meet, I don't see why not really (unless this is a track meet, and the track is like concrete). However, i can't overemphasize the fact that they take a long time to get into because you need to give your muscles time to adapt and your bones time to get stronger (thus, nutrition is, as always, very important here). I spent a week just walking around in them before I ever attempted to run. Even the muscles inbetween your toes are going to hurt since they are being separated for the first time in your life lol. Another thing is that you need a really good fit or you might end up dealing with blisters (this is why I recommend buying them in a store if there's one near you) Today I did a 4 mile tempo on a golf course though and averaged 5:18s and my stride felt so efficient and easy. I can't wait to start hitting the trails with the team to get some real quality miles in this summer If you're concerned about the cost, realize that these don't rely on cushioning that makes up for the way the shoe changes your biomechanics so you would be able to run in them until they literally fall apart. You just can't jump into them right away i'm quite blown away by these. they look like they're from one of those "too good to be true" ads. i might actually consider picking up a pair, however a broken toe from over a year ago may affect my performance. for $80 my parents would love to buy me these.. for sure a possibility
  22. using water on a fire doesnt extinguish it i can light a fire under a person or animal yet i can't light one under a bird snare ;) hill giants are located underground i can train agility by catching a toy mouse but not by climbing ropes, ladders, and by running i can use a battleaxe to slice a banana but i have to use a knife to fletch bows i get prayer exp by burying bones but not by praying at an altar.
  23. i play for trash talking others, the thrill of pking, making great friends, working towards goals and ranks, and occasionally getting away from reality.
