not bad. theres a bit more to it, though. you have to figure in the demand/usefulness of the item and a rough figure of how MANY of these items are being traded daily. you also have to test and see how many you can buy instant at what prices as this will basically predict if the item is going up or down

it comes down to your attack level. d mace is slow and inaccurate but capable of gigantic hits dds is.. the dds. fast and capable of good hits but somewhat inaccurate against good defense. edit: also i saw a guy hitting 40's with a d long.. totally unexpected and deadly

sorry, i can't [bleep] stand people like this. i hate people that will come over and get absorbed in a video game and not even acknowledge the fact that they're at my house, then eat my food and not get off my computer when i tell them to. i had two friends like this. friend number 1's parents would even ask my parents for sums of money (which they never paid back). he didn't even have a car and he had the nerve to ask my parents for RIDES to the mall and stuff. his parents also asked my parents on several occassions if he could come over after school every day for 1.5 hours because they had noone to watch him- he moved away and i never talked to him again, nor do i have any interest to. friend number 2 is still my friend. he would do this kind of thing to everyone but it was just who he was. for a summer he would be over here every day, it kind of got on my nerves. although he had a huge house so then he ended up having us over all the time then and it was a lot of fun. so then he started coming over less and now we just chill maybe a few times a month. he's probably coming over swimming and ping ponging today. it was just a stage it his life where he always wanted to be around friends. as you see there are two completely different scenarios here (both of which happened to me). friend number one just had a bad life but i really would never associate myself with him these days (if he still lived around here) friend number 2 is still a friend. but it sounds like your friend is just mooching off you and i wouldn't continue to be friends with him.

i did my first workout yesterday in my pool. i went to the deep-end to an steep incline on the side. i submerged everything from my neck down and started running up the slope (obviously i didn't get anywhere, kind of like a natural treadmil) i found that this was an amazing workout to practice deep breathing and even hill climbing. i ended up cramping up after about 6 minutes of this workout but i'll probably end up doing it again today if it doesn't rain.

with construction just keep making steel dragons in your dungeon. 10mil for 3162 exp.. uhh yeah thats the fasest in game i think fastest farming is kind of weird, because i'm sure its possible (if you have access to all teleports) to get to all alottments (besides my arm) and grow the best exp stuff there, while farming trees and fruit trees. it can't really be managed per hour though.

This doesn't have anything to do with our levels. I only have 86 Slayer but I support the idea of Jagex adding 90+ monsters because it makes more sense. Slayer being hard is just another reason why there should be more rewards at the higher end of the spectrum. 35 Slayer monsters in the span of 3 mil xp and 2 Slayer monsters in the span of 10 mil is balanced? And you seem to think that supporting high leveled monsters automatically means we have greedy intentions. :? i don't want to argue, but quite frankly a black mask for ranged should have come before dark beasts imo.

i don't really feel like i'm in the right place among level 120+'s here. please exuse me if i seem ignorant. at my level, whenever someone asks me my slayer level, they will often respond with "wow thats high!" i don't have the money (to cannon) or, quite frankly, the time to get 80+ slayer. not being able to use a black mask for range is probably the most crushing blow to my slayer training. 78 slayer, i'd say, is a bit ABOVE AVERAGE. i hate saying this to higher levels, but you need to think of a time when you were low slayer. i have 71 slayer, does that make me 12 years old? i notice a lot of posters in this thread have all 99 combats. some people don't have the dedication or stats to get high slayer. i personally think that 78 is a perfect level and it shows that jagex is thinking about slayer. theres a reason nobody has gotten 200mil slayer exp yet, its because it is a hard skill to train. and, as i said before, it takes dedication. those who have worked for 90+ slayer, seriously, congratulations. its a great achievement. but, before you get your lvl95 goldmine monster that you can make hundreds of millions off of, the runescape slayer community needs a black mask that works with range. hopefully thats why this monster isn't up to par with your standards. flame me if you want, but its the truth. if you guys want a really great item that goes up to, say 40mil, you need to remember that slayer, like all skills needs to be BALANCED, not OVEREXTENDED.

To be able to afford items / skills that would be unreachable without a large amount of cash. Such as 99 herby/ prayer/ summon / construction. Or items such as a godsword set , Spirit shield etc. Its also the fact that having a large sum of money is impressive to your average scape and thats what a huge percentage of this game is about , to impress your mates etc. What other uses do phats / rares have etc ? Phats look badass. \ Also, your idea of obscene amounts is no longer the same value as it was years ago. As more GP enters the game, RS is undergoing constant inflation. GP value drops as time pass as more of them enter the game. 500m is no longer a ridiculous amount of money. People are constantly re-evaluating money. The way people see item prices at the moment just shows how much GP is now valued in the economy. Trust me, if phats were 1gp each, you wouldn't think they look badass. that scenario isn't even possible. considering the current number of party hats in game, still, basically the same amount of people would have them. if everyone had a party hat, i'd still say they look badass. they wouldn't be as big a status item, but still a classic example of badassery.

odd situation background: i'm in 9th grade. there is a 10th grader from another school who i think is interested in me. we had a bit of a "thing" going on about a year and a half ago. i guess she got a boyfriend then (and since broke-up) and we just started talking a week ago. she is what some people would stereotype as an "easy" girl. shes really nice, pretty, and she knows how to keep a guy occupied. a year and a half ago i was sure that we liked each other (we hung out like 5 times), however my friend kind of.. stole her before i asked her out. i kindaaa overplayed it and waited a bit too long to ask her out. but then she ended up hating my friend, so i really don't have anything against him, anymore. this year i go to a different school, i've changed alot, and the girls here are alot different. i feel as if i've changed/matured alot and i've become accustomed to what the girls HERE want. me and this girl have been texting, sending flirtatious text messages.. whatever you want to call it. i just thought she maybe wanted to hangout again and catch up on old times.. but i think she is legit looking for a relationship now, as, she never stopped liking me, she just went on to other people. we talked on the phone last night and she was really nice, funny, always teasing and playing around. we kept texting today and i'm pretty sure she likes me again. we go to different schools, its been awhile since we last hung out. i'm afraid that when we hang out my "new" personality mayy or may not turn her off. i don't know what she's looking for. it feels great talking to her though. i can tell shes putting feeling into the texts cause shes taking quitee a while to text back (thinking of the perfect thing to say). i think i should probably pursue her, whether she just wants a hookup or a legit relationship, or maybe she is just leading me on. what do you guys think? the (most troubling) problem: the weirdest feeling is that i feel like i can't hang out with her with any of my friends from my new school, however i feel fine about bringing her around friends from my old school. i'm kind of torn and don't understand why there is such a mental barrier between what went on at my old school and whats going on (and will go on) at my current school. i feel like my current friends will judge me based on this relationship. i know, i know.. i shouldn't care about what others think. it's just so odd. i know i shouldn't care. but what feeling, what emotion is MAKING me care?

Sorry but LOL Previously the Nechryaels would drop maybe 1 pair of rune boots per hour. The initial price of rune boots was 1-2m when only the first 2-3 people to 80 slayer could kill them. That dropped to 300k- in a week with still only a couple dozen people able to kill them. This place is going to be PACKED with the aforementioned 80000+ people all trying to grab a good drop. The price will be set in the GE at 200k each. For the few hours the item will sell ~500k WITH JUNK. In 2-7 days, depending on its usefulness, it will have crashed to its GE price and below. hey pal! thanks for reading my entire post. i really enjoy it when people read my first sentence, quote it, then "lol" at me. you seem to be living in 2006: as i said, LEAF BLADED SWORDS were 1mil with junk after a week. you need 55 slayer to obtain those. you have no idea what you are talking about.. rune boots? are they even relevant to this discussion? 1. there wasn't even a GE back then, meaning it was harder for demand to bring items up (not impossible, mind you) 2. when rune boots came out they didn't even have a strength bonus (climbing boots were the "stuff")- they weren't useful at all, and quite honestly, did, and still do, look terrible. and 300k in a week? i doubt it. when i played on my old main rune boots were 250k, and construction was out by then. the only valid point you made was "depending on its usefulness//will crash" quite frankly, every item crashes after release, and chances are we're in store for one heck of an item please read my ENTIRE post before you LOL at me then proceed to talk about rune boots, thanks.

good god 10/10. how often do you play each day (on average)? last summer when i played rs 24/7, in a week i played runescape for 73 hours(record?!?!)... really, really scary (max 12 hours in one day) good thing i stopped. how long did that chompy take you? impressive.

9/10, i was expecting a "almost 65 range!" thread i remember when i first started playing runescape, i saw a video, or heard of, a player named "kyle" getting 99 attack and prayer (and 124-126 combat) at the same time (killing a ghast). that was pretty cool.

you lost one of your valuable pking worlds 89 to a large group of people who lost their homeworld for the second time and were sick of it being taken away. first 89 was a pvp world, then they changed it. they tried the same [cabbage] again with bh worlds, now they changed it again dont [bleep] with 89. hopefully those in my beloved homeworld who have been displaced are rejoicing at the transformation of the world. thanks, jagex :thumbup:
