  1. Two Coal, and Iron ore to bars.. Then into Cannonballs? Slow XP.. Some profit.. :/
  2. But there isn't a way to make junk faster than you can make gp. So therefore it isn't efficient. People are just too ignorant to get it through their thick skulls. I was sitting at the G.E. the other day, and saw two kids arguing about junk trading.. One player was soley making Willow Longbow (u)'s for junk to sell his Cat mask.. That will only make you >80k an hour! Now how is that in any way better than just selling it for Cash, and making 200k+ an hour elsewhere?
  3. Use Dan's Guide to Blast Furnace Mithril Smelting -> Mithril Bolts (unf) in the AoW. Good luck.
  4. If you're using a Dragonfire Shield, than Whip+ DFS.. If not, just Full Verac's.
  5. Indeed, your best bet is saradomin platebodies in free to play bounty hunter but there is no guarentee you will not be entangled and killed, then reported and falsefully banned for real world trading. While it's not recommended.. And VERY VERY risky, you could 1 item a Sara Platebody, and turn off the prayer as your friend is about to kill you..? This is highly discouraged by Jagex, and Tip.It aswell I believe, but it's one of few possible ways..
  6. I'm currently using all of the cooked trout from F2P fishing. What I do, is before I withdraw all ess to fill my pouches, I withdraw one or two food, then ess.. Click out of my bank, eat, fill pouches, then fill my inventory with more ess.. It hardly slows you down, and is much better than balloons. (This only works for >75 RuneCrafting, because if you have a giant pouch, you will fill all of your pouches with one inventory, allowing no extra space for the food.)
  7. I also prefer balloons - same reasons. But remember, there are no familiars when using balloons. I personally haven't RC'ed since summoning's release, so I'm not sure how big of a benefit the abyssal guys or terrorbird really are when RC'ing... Familiars aren't allowed on Entrena though, so it's the same either way.. I still personally prefer the Abyss.
  8. Two Crystal Bows or Karils Bow would be BETTER for him.. He has a higher defense level, and the caves go much faster and more efficient with Karils/Crystal.. Plus, Rune C'Bow is very slow, and has a short distance.. And spending that little extra can make or break a trip. It's cheaper to do one trip with Crystal/Karil's, than 2 with a Rune C'Bow..
  9. Untrimmed Slayer is possible.. But ONLY if you use a Cannon, and every possible bonus to slayer (lamps, books, ect.). And you must train all stats to high 90's combat to get untrimmed slayer.. I believe 2-3 people in the world have it, so it'd be a good goal for you.
  10. Blessed does not give a prayer bonus..
  11. Full Verac's only works as a full set (Skirt, Helmet, Brassard, and Flail).. The full set effect is that occasionally, you will ignore your opponents defense level, and armor, and hit right through them (protection prayers aswell). It's a BAD idea for low levels to try and use it against the KBD, because you can't weild an Anti-Fire Shield.. Get 70+ all combat, and try the Giant Mole while praying.. Probably one of the easiest boss monsters.
  12. Doing the lost City Quest will also unlock Dragon Weapons, such as a Dragon Dagger, or Longsword.. And the city of Zanaris is pretty neat, and useful aswell..
  13. Go onto the Runescape Official Forums, and look under events.. Most people will post there about an open Gilded Alter.
  14. You can kill the low level ones and just get the task out of the way in one trip.. Not too hard.
  15. ALL Armadyl armor has better bonus' than 3rd age.. And you won't get any 3rd age anyways, so just go with full Armadyl..
  16. ... And third age is nearly impossible to get your hands on. Armadyl has better bonus' anyways.
  17. Buy Fury and Shield, borrow boots.. Fury has many uses, you can probably buy it low in G.E. overnight.. Shield has many uses also.. Boots are highly overpriced, and aren't neccessary.. Just borrow.
  18. No Party hats are traded via G.E... But thats only because no one puts up 'buy' offers. ;) Anything CAN be sold on the G.E., but hard to obtain items are usually kept, and traded in person..
  19. Minotaurs also drop noted Rune Ess, Tin, and Copper and loads of Irons arrows.. So you can essentally camp there forever..
  20. They are on the sides of the Alter.. Whoever's alter it is, will probably already have them, if they have a Gilded Alter.. They use Marentill herb on them, and a tinderbox to light them.. While lit, you get additional XP for each bone offered.
  21. Check the Runescape DB for all items that are considered coinshare'd.. Theres a list, of like 100 items that are 'rare' drops with high values (mostly DK's, Godwars, KQ, KBD, and other boss drops)
  22. If someone has a Gilded Alter in their house, and you want to use it, they light the burners using Marentills on the burners, and lighting them. You 'use' (NOT Bury!) the bones on the Alter, and have a swirlling animation come off of the top of the Alter, with a message (something like, the gods are very pleased with your offering), and you will recieve extra XP for any bones used..
  23. It's just a better reward for finishing the last step of RFD.. No reason to make them more expensive, just harder to get. :)
  24. Steam staff isn't used for combat magic anyways.. Just use a Fire/Lava Battle/Mystic Staff instead?
  25. They do a couple of things.. One, being buying the other persons junk. Sometimes, people pay at the beginning, and end of borrowing, sometimes even more, depending on how much they're paying.
