  1. Erichermit's guide completely disproves each one of your points, no offense Cat. The range safespot method is very easy once you understand it, and just like any other awkward task, there are specific ways to kill them, which are much easier than others (like trying to 'Whip Waterfiends..).
  2. Not to hi-jack.. But is it still 225 for your 60th task? Or do you only get the x15 bonus on 50, 100, 150, ect. tasks? :|
  3. I don't have much experience with the Toad.. But that sounds way too good to be true. Check Kent's summoning guide, but I really doubt the toad works the same as a cannon.. :?
  4. This will help you kill 3 birds in one stone, as you won't have to train up slayer later on, when you already have high combat.
  5. Try losing out on 10m, lagging out against the 'Smoking Kills' boss as she summons the rangers.. What did I do? Make the money back. You did it once you can do it again..
  6. For your own alter: yes, to use one: no. \ Just go on the RuneScape Official Forums, and broad search 'open alter' and use someone elses.
  7. Rune crossbow would be what you would use.. The new crossbows are much beefier than before you quit, giving +90 range attack, one handed, and allows a wide variety of strong bolts for high hits. The only con is that it's still slower than an MSB (Magic Shortbow), so slower for training via Fire Giants, or low defense monsters. For dragons, you would be safespotting anyways, so a Dragonfire shield is somewhat pointless.. If you have a Zamorak/Unholy (from the 'Horror from the Deep' Quest) use that with a Rune Crossbow, if not, don't even bother with the Blessed Books (Page prices are outrageous now, with a full Zamorak book ranging in the 10M+ range). For some quick training, you could try Yaks on Neitiznot Island with bronze knives (very cheap, quick XP). The basics of ranged training hasn't changed too much, but I suggest slayer, dragons, Aviansies (look in guides in the Archive of Wisdom), or low defense monsters for quick range training).
  8. They can be poisoned. But emerald (e) is the best because you can tell when the poison takes effect. With P(++) poison, the poison damage starts from as soon as you do even 1 damage.. Whereas it may take several or maybe even more shots to have the (e) special attack kick in. P(++) is better, as the poison damage not only hits higher, but hits as long as you do damage rather than randomly.
  9. Monkeys are much easier too. Less luring, ect. Plus, the fact that they're faster XP allows you time to make up the extra money you're losing.
  10. Also, you can recharge it as a dragon breathes into your shield when you have less than 50 charges. For each charge, you also get an additional defense bonus stat (+1) in all melee and ranged combat.
  11. And his 99 Cooking won't burn much of anything anyways. Rogues Den will always be the best.
  12. They're also packed everywhere else.. At the Brimhaven dungeon, I find myself competing for kills.. -.- I believe it's Nulideon that returns it to you too.
  13. Street price is G.E. price. ;) I'll take them off your hands for you..
  14. The Bandos boss will still use his range attack while you are under him, but he will dance around for a few seconds first. Also, its been recorded of close to a 1/350 ratio for Hilt drops, but not completely true.
  15. I don't see Jagex changing level caps too much in the near future.. The most I think they'd do would be grant a '100' for maxing (200m XP) out a skill.. New skills would be better anyways.
  16. You need 80 Agility to use the shortcut I believe. If not, you have to walk all the way around the dungeon.
  17. Very odd. I had this happen to me when I turned F2P on a name a while back.. I lost membership, logged in the next morning, and had a Gnomeball in my inventory.. I was by myself in the Draynor Bank too.. Must be a glitch.. :?
  18. Happens to me too. I think only your highest one gets damaged, and if you let it stay damaged and keep using it, only then can your lower pouches be affected.. Just a guess, but thats what it seems like to me.
  19. Regular Spirit shield.. 250K-275K G.E. Whats the street price? I'd like a quick accurate answer if anyone could please.. :?
  20. What is so good about the new shields anyways?..
  21. Ask for God Page trades, or any other items people junk trade.. If at all still possible, try to buy a piece of 3rd age with those masks before their street price drops any more..
  22. No offense really.. I just remember replying to nearly the EXACT same question from him before.. Funny how you can get 87 farming though and still not know about basic farming.. :|
  23. This is a lazy way to level.. You don't get HP xp, and only get the minimum magic XP.. It works, but it's really inefficient.. :| F.O.G. is probably even worse.. You only get half the XP, and while it's free, you get next to no xp and timing between games is quite a bit. Try alching, and at around 80+, you can try maging Metal Dragons.. Chaos gauntlets+Bolt spells, or wave spells are good for training there, and you have a chance at a Dragon drop or Visage.
  24. You asked the exact same question once before.. -.- The answer is 3 seeds, just like any other allotment. (And you say, 'I don't farm in allotments, I just do herbs and trees.' Been through this before. ;) )
  25. I remember getting booted from a large clan (dang picky RSOF teams), and getting a shard 3 the next kill, as I leeched the mage (I made a 200k+ profit that trip while my team got nothing as a drop ;) ).. I've heard and seen the rate to be ~1/350, tested (although this can't always be true). I've also seen a team get a split for tassets off of Strongstack.
