  1. You have to buy another.. Sadly. So you'll have an extra cape, but thats not so bad.. You usually wear the cape more than the hood anyways. And 99k isn't too hard to come by.
  2. They really don't :-# I got banned for "macroing" when I was getting 99 Magic weeks after I trained from 1-99 (I did it all at once took a few weeks)' date=' even though I was casting "Tele-Other" on my friends, player mods and some Jagex mods at the time (back when they could be interacted with), I can't appeal it either as they have "no evidence" (it actually says that).[/quote'] So I'm not alone. I even appealed mine with an argument, and got a 'thanks for apologizing' response. Jagex's customer support blows.
  3. This is true for any world related to the country you're in. Americans might say that UK worlds are laggy, and vice versa. If you have a fast connection though, it's not that bad, but you still might see a lag [bleep]e every now and then.
  4. If you have Ahrim's, here a list of things close in price. Mages book: Infinity boots: Seer's ring: Anything above Ahrim's is Zurial or 3rd Age, which is pretty expensive and pointless, and hard to get. Stick with Ahrim's.
  5. Whip on Controlled will be better for you in the long run. After you train strength, you'll realize you need everything else. Save yourself the trouble, and the self-slap of ignorance. You will be glad you trained this way.
  6. Without a Godsword, NO. Only because I've tried at that level with a whip. With a Godsword and your best BoB, you can probably get 1-2. Duo's are much better. A friend with 99 Defense and I can get 8-10 kills if we switch tanking.
  7. Jagex isn't that slow, sorry to say. They're trying to cut back on pures anyways.
  8. Accuracy of Mithril, max hit of Adamant. And yes, not recommended for boss hunting, just use Diamond (e) and Ruby (e) (for first half of HP).
  9. 'Do stronger slayer monsters give more XP?' No, you get the same amount of HP that the slayer monster has (or half the XP if you do more than half damage, or have the final blow on more than one person attacking it).
  10. Ranging and Melee'ing are nearly equal, at the same levels on Bloodvelds. Blackmask/Slayer helmet offers +15% Attack AND Strength. Melee > Range on a task.. Choice outside is about equal, but then again, there are better places to camp, unless you just want a hell of a lot of Green charms.
  11. You have to think of the combat triangle for F2P, and factors (way too many to list) affecting that (even those P2P contribute). Melee is probably the strongest F2P style of combat (followed by Range, then Magic), but with it comes a price. Rune armor is expensive for F2P. Range armor is very cheap (a full ranger set consisting of body, legs, and bow costs less than even the cheapest piece of Rune Melee armor [full helmet]). Magic.. Has cheap robes, and runes remain constant (F2P Magic combat will always be weaker). The Triangle is supposed to follow a Melee > Ranged ; Ranged > Magic ; Magic > Melee. Thus completing a flowing triangle. Giving them a stronger bow (Yew, both long and short) and arrows (Rune) would way overpower F2P attack towards Magic, and defense against Melee (as you will be more equal). Not only that, but F2P ranged training would be much easier. These somewhat 'small' changes would really overpower F2P ranging, even if you don't realize it directly. Even with regular Green dragonhide, a Maple shortbow, and Adamant arrows, you can get a decent ranged bonus for very cheap, and still be overpowered. And not only that, but shortbows are the choice over longbows, and changing the price to be higher than a longbow would mess up a lot as well, including for Fletchers. You would be making more profit off of Yew shortbows (at a lower Fletching level), and changing a lot for the worse in all of the Yew market.
  12. Ability to bless graves! Very helpful for boss fighting.
  13. Pest Control might even be more XP than Barraging or Chinning (not sure), and sure is a hell of a lot cheaper too.
  14. Nope. Most invisible boosts do not stack. Void Knight armor is the one odd exception..
  15. 'Smite' drains your prayer 1/4 of whatever he hits on you. Sometimes, it lags and all the drain stacks at once. You could've been hit before and not recieved the drain until you died..
  16. Two questions. Was he Smiting you? Were you actually in the Wilderness or just anywhere in a PvP world?
  17. In general, the fact that EVERYTHING in F2P is larger, more complex, and more 'fun' in P2P. Everyone has their own incentive to play RS, and it is up to them to find the one that suits them most to upgrade. No one can really tell you a specific answer, unless you say.. Free money for upgrading to P2P. But think about it now, that won't really happen (nor would Jagex allow it, seeing as it is Real World Trading).
  18. Yeah, they're actually negative one GP now. You actually get paid to have them sit in your bank. -.- Honestly, how many people will post on the G.E. glitch before realizing that EVERY item is glitched? Read the front page, and try looking at more than one item before posting.
  19. 1.) Not exactly sure, but I'm pretty sure it's more than Alchemy. 2.) Safe areas would be near the portal in your POH, The Godwars Dungeon (assuming you have a god item to protect you), an empty landing ship at Pest Control, and a few others.. 3.) Check the High-level Alchemy price return, and subtract that from the market price and nature rune, and try to find an item with the least loss. You should use the G.E. for that, or there is a guide in the AOW which has a list of good items to Alchemy.
  20. Firemaking is an easy one. Training is the same for both P2P and F2P (besides training spots), but I'm not exactly sure if Maple logs are F2P or not.. Use Maple if you do decide to Firemake, because the time you save will very much be worth it. Woodcutting would also be a good one to train, if you can find a Yew spot to yourself. EDIT: I failed to see the '99' Firemaking in your signature before posting, but you can keep training it for Overall XP, or just to get a higher rank in the skill. Ha.
  21. I'm not going to lie.. I've thought of what a 'farming pure' would be like too in the past, when I found out how the combat of Magic Secateurs works. Don't get your hopes up about some ridiculous hit though. I really don't think Jagex intended them to have much of a combat use. That little add-on just seems to be a small bonus. Try finding someone with 99 Strength and Farming though, I'd like to see the results of that.
  22. Super glass-make (into vials) and humidify on the Lunar Magics spell book allows you to break even, and occasionally make a profit (depending on the market), but I'm not sure how well filled vials sell. You will ultimately end up with junk if it doesn't sell, but that still has value. Alching with friends in a safe area isn't bad- when you just talk and alch.
  23. As in.. Burst/Barrage the Zombie monkeys? Better places to do so, but yes. It's feasible. There are better places to train though, such as Rock Lobsters for Crimson charms. They're close to the same Xp/hour, but the Crimson charm drops are a good bonus. No other reason to train Magic at the Guards, or none I can see really.
  24. And to think I always High Alch any boot drops I get.. This kind of reminds me of when Bronze gauntlets (Fist of Guthix Reward) were worth much more than the Iron ones. Maybe people think they look like Bandos boots, or just like the looks in general?
