if u just want to slay go 87 herb and 92 pray so u can make extreme attack and strength (with greenmans ale or whatever) and soulspilt :D but yea id say if u plan on slaying/stuff like that go for herb, boss hunting go for prayer. Im sure soon after getting one you would get the other.,

Mith gloves > combat brace. Altough at 1 defence you can now wear addy gloves so thsoe are even better. everyone seems to be going with obby cape, but a skill cape (t) or firecape would be better. and yea bear head for helm. a berserker i im guessing you can also do at 1 def edit: oh and yes, rune defender > unholy book, but it requires 40 def :P book > iron defender.

well for actual guides for things i normally either head to the aow or youtube, but for things like skills and such rs wiki is quite ncie tbh :P

ive seen quite a few 1 def pures at bandos, let alone zerkers and people with higher defence. its really not that hard Pures are exceptions to the rule, and can't get wear Bandos anyway. For average players with 65 defense, it's impossible without a huge team. well if a lvl 70 pure can do it im sure people with 65 def shouldnt have too much trouble. but yea i know what u mean

A lot of the chats quickly died after the first week or two, so only a few remain. You can always check on the Runescape Forums to find more. oh true. i like never use tip it guides for anything anymore lol, always head straigth to the lovely rs wiki :D do love these forums though :)

using a yak is really nice there too if your one of the like 2348973294 people who got 96 summoning on the weekend. Went there to get the mining level i was pretty clsoe to and made like 500k in the hour i was there from using scrolls on the 5kg stuff and dropping the rest

I've used obelisk_chat once, and they were very helpful. The next week i tried again with them when runescape was abit quiter and it was completly useless, had to find obelisk myself. finding the obelisks isnt too hard though really, just hop through worlds till he says a location thing, and look on the rs wiki familiarisation page for where that is

i like the idea of leaving gwd and other bosses the way they are, but brining out a heap of new ones, not just like 1 or 2, but a fair amount all dropping new weapons and such. The weapons shouldnt be much, if any, stronger then ones we already have as to not hurt pvp more then it already has with things like claws... but they could all have there uses for different things. Like a weapon the speed/strength of a whip but with less slash and more crush or slash, new range weapons and different mage gear and stuff. Basically add a whole heap of new stuff into the game, so runescape doesnt just have 1 obvious choice for like everything, but many different weapons and armours. High leveled un-tradeable weapons and armour dropped from bosses a fair bit harder then gwd, but not to the extreme of corp, with fairly rare drop rates, would also be a nice addition to the game. More items to hit through pray, or even hybrid gear, would reduce the amount of people rushing/pjing in pvp with there new high powered armours, which would be fairly rare and hard to get. But yea, runescape could go alot further without making anything too overpowered.

i <3 zerker pures, have a little one myself. but yea idk if there realyl is a "cool" pure too have. Those little summoning tanks are amazingl beasts too. Also those ones with like 10 def or whatever with rune gloves and all are very nice

yea rsof teams are normally fine. Sometimes u have a dodgy power abusing leader, if ur worried about it u can just post and make ur own teams.. people will join them pretty fast. I normally just make my own team for things on rsof when i cant find one im interested in joining

or just use them with dbones and get some cheap pray xp :P

yea, they might take a little while to kill at your level, but then again they would with melee as well. just something like black dhide top and chaps, archer helm, snakeskin boots, glory, some decent bolts, anti fire shield. a few range pots and like maybe 4 or 5 anti fire. no idea how long ull take to kill em. And yea just stand out of there melee range and they wont touch you.

yea souds pretty good. i did it with a tort of brews and then uni and only made it with a few left over, but that wasnt with a combat familiar so yea. Anyway may aswell try, extremely easy to get stuff back when u die.

pretty easy really. either range them, all you would need is normal sort of range gear, anti fire shield, and anti-fire potions. or u can melee them in something like proselyte, slayer helm/mask, anti fire shield. with a few ppots and super sets and anti fire pots

While i sort of like this idea, and i agree that it has gotten way out of hand, the game is already becoming too easy. If there were to be no competition with other players out side of pvp, what would really be the point of training stats all that high be anyway? Soloing/team gwd bosses can still be done effectively at lower levels, but the fact there is great competition for worlds and such means higher players actually have something to use there high skills for. Also if jagex were to this they would have to reduce the drop rates of rare items, or runescape will be filled with low leveled player's wearing there 5m armadyl godswords... while were at it lets just give everyone maxed stats and unlimited supplys of everything :D dont get me wrong, i do think something needs to be done, and instanced bosses could be a good option. Maybe leave the normal worlds with normal drop rates, and then have instanced bosses with much reduced drop rates. That way higher leveled players dont have to suffer due to some lvl 80's wanting to play at godwars too. I'm not maxed, dont have extremes or turmoil and so cant get into the best teams either, and do get crashed occasionally by "elite" teams.. but i see that as a reason to train more. Take this away and training higher will feel like even more of a waste of time then it already does. anyway i actually do kinda like the idea, so spose im contradicting myself. But yea... theres my little rant >=].

when i did cook like a month or 2 ago it was actualyl profiting, well atleast breaking even cuase i have a habit of buying max/selling lowest. I just did swordies till 94? till you no longer burnt sharks. Goes by very very quickly if u have a season or 2 to watch on dvd or soemthing :D was gonna post a pic of my my computer was set up but apparently a big chunk of my screenshots has gone missing when i changed computers D: only just found that out, fml. lol

And yea the build up of text at the start and all the annotations trying to defend the video make him sound more like a 14 year old who discovered how to put a few pictures in a video, then a player from '04. yea pretty sure it is. i can go like days of doing pretty much nothing with no randoms, then whip out some fm brawlers getting like 1.2m xp an hour and have them every 10 mins. same with cooking and summoning and other fast things.

ill also recommend gimp. very powerfull considering its free. Whipped up this sig (nothign special i know) in a couple minutes

ok so i somehow got sidetracked from studying back to looking at parts for this thing, god it can burn alot of time :o thinking bout switching the 9800GT graphics card for an ATI 5770, likes like another $50 but from what ive read its quite abit better. Anyone know much bout these cards?

Yea, the Yak is godly. I've only just personally achieved 96 myself and havent tested it yet, but i know that it is extremely usefull for everything mentioned here, could also be usefull for solo/due bandos ect banking ourg bones and stuff. I've also heard the difference between iron and steel titan is dissapointing (well if you go out of ur way to get 99, if it just sort of happens then theres nothing to complain about :P). If you want defence xp, even if u had the steel titan may as well use iron. Iron titan is still quite a beast
