  1. I highly recommend that you don't use magic - even though metal dragons are weak against magic spells, the hit rate isn't that good. You'll be splashing and hitting a lot of 0s with magic. But, if you insist on using magic, then bring your best magic attack boosting armor, an anti-dragonfire shield, antifire potions, a few sharks or other food for emergencies or mistakes, about twice as many attacking runes as you may think you need, and high alchemy runes for those drops that you don't want to take and don't want to leave. Be sure to always stay more than one space away from the dragon so it doesn't wtfpwn you with melee. If you do get within melee range, you have your emergency food to heal you. Always keep your anti-dragonfire shield equipped, and if you're always under the influence of an antifire potion, you'll end up taking no damage. If you're going to stick with magic, then your attack level doesn't make a difference. Don't forget your woodcutting axe, you'll need it to get to the Bronze Dragons if you're using the dungeon. Protect from Melee will also help too, so fill up on prayer points before you leave.
  2. Quickchat is supposed to be the alternative for not getting banned by controlling your language. People who are muted are restricted to Quickchat. Because of that, they can't possibly be against the rules. Either way, what if you really like someone's monkey nuts? What if you really liked someones Balls (level 10 approx.)? As long as you don't make perverted, sexual implications with them, they're pretty much innocent phrases.
  3. The key on my keyboard that makes the letter "P" appear has "P" printed on it.
  4. You're banned for banning the person before you.
  5. So clearly, it's a driver issue with some sort of hardware on your computer. Basing off of JoeDaStudd's statement, I'm going to assume that he's right and it's Logitech that's causing the issue. If so, you may be able to find an updated driver for your keyboard from their official downloads page: http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/suppo ... downloads/ Hope that helps.
  6. I just switched back to Windows XP two days ago. I've been having way too many compatibility issues with Vista, and I just find it annoying that I have to give myself administrative permission to do an action that I induced in the first place.
  7. I've gotten the Blue Screen of Death before with the message that it happened because it was trying to save my computer as well. I just restarted and it appeared to work fine. I'm still able to stand by and hibernate. I'm not quite sure if the Blue Screen of Death directly caused your inability to stand by or hibernate - if it gets stuck at the "Logging Off" screen, it means that there was some problem writing the temporary image of your workspace before shutting down (which is what hibernation is supposed to do). I don't have any guaranteed solutions on how to reverse it, but I guess you could try a System Restore to a previous date before you got your Blue Screen of Death. If that doesn't work, I guess you could Google around for an answer, otherwise, if you REALLY want to use stand by or hibernate, you might have to resort to a System Recovery. I know that's not that helpful, but it was the best I can do with the information I have now.
  8. Is there one for Pyrelords, where if you use your log on the familiar, a menu pops up? I can't test that one myself, because my Summoning isn't high enough, and I'm not a member anymore. Or, you may have confused it with the new Offer X option for Player-Owned Houses' altars, when sacrificing bones. Either way, you saying that caused me to gain a couple hundred more firemaking experience, so everything's good. :D
  9. ?! I just tried it, and it doesn't appear like I can light multiple logs at once.
  10. Dragon Bones are going up drastically, +23.4% in the past seven days, and up about 500 coins each in the past two days. I would say to spend the cash now and buy the bones, use them up, then kill Green Dragons later. By that time, Dragon Bones will likely be higher than what you bought them for, so you would be making a profit for each Dragon Bone that you bought by reselling the ones you loot later. Please don't kill me if the cost of Dragon Bones end up lower by the time you're 70 Prayer.
  11. I usually use Rapid, and when I use Accurate, I haven't really seen much of a difference of the damages done between the two. Based off of that, I would say, if you're using expensive bolts/arrows, stick with Accurate, otherwise, go with Rapid.
  12. I would go for fishing, I'm pretty sure it gives a larger profit, and it doesn't involve competition with other players.
  13. This thread has some outfits that may be of some help to you: viewtopic.php?f=30&t=766895&p=6165987
  14. I never heard of anyone paying you to use their altar. I normally give small donations of up to 5k to the people who open their homes to the public.
  15. I discovered that keeping a full inventory prevented you from getting the Mysterious Old Man giving you a puzzle box. But now that the randoms were revamped and the puzzle boxes don't exist anymore, I guess it doesn't really matter anymore. Otherwise, I don't think the amount of spaces you have in your inventory affects the chances you have of receiving a random.
  16. ... As long as you would like to? This is sort of a vague and difficult question.
  17. When melee training, I go for the best, cost-effective solution for armor. I usually end up using a Dragon Plateskirt. When not melee training, which is most of the time, I usually wear chaps, mostly because I don't want to carry the extra weight. So for me - I wear legs for the looks, and skirt for the stats.
  18. The highest agility level that you need for a quest is 60, and that's for Rocking Out. You're only three levels away of getting the agility requirement for the Quest Cape.
  19. I recommend killing Lesser Demons on Karamja with an Accumulator. You can safe-spot while still getting all your arrows back. At a little higher Ranged, go for Black Demons in Taverly Dungeon - the Accumulator works here as well if you use the northern safe spot. If you have defense, I suggest tanking Aviansies. When you get close to Level 99 and have some extra cash to spend, go for Red Chinchompas in the dungeon you access during Monkey Madness and kill Skeletal Monkeys. If you want more specific information, post your stats and how much money you have or are willing to spend.
  20. I voted for Slayer. The time it takes to get from one location to another really adds up, and 13M+ damage is a lot. I'm surprised some people voted for Prayer, because Jagex recently implemented the "Offer X" feature for player-owned houses. I realize that this feature doesn't actually speed up the offering, but it keeps the player going longer, seeing as they don't have to put as much effort per bone used. Overall, this could result in them playing for longer periods of time in a day, and shortening the overall number of days taken to get to 99.
  21. I can verify that, I know by experience that when I used chinchompas, I had multiple damage splats on the same square.
  22. The link isn't working? Once I get the picture, I can make the background transparent.
