You can't bring statistics and percentages and all that [cabbage] into pking. That's why you're not understanding; you're looking at pking in the same way you look at training, or safe pvp.

... What the heck are you talking about? A humungous portion of the game is do-able without combat. Combat is not Runescape! If people dont even enjoy combat, why train it? To boost your total level/combat level for ego? P.S. Soul In Pain, a Level 3 skiller, already has 71 slayer. You'll find you are super wrong. most things in rs contain combat skills. only a few rare things that can be non combatly and have fun but how don't they get bored? all they can do is watch and even non combat mini games for e.g stink... Eternal Dad is not even level 3, he gained combat. And even he is not much closer than the rest, still a long shot away. I still wonder why you created this topic, you start off by asking if skillers are the future? then you rant about how skillers are so pointless... Eternal dad is either level 3 or level 4.

I see people with 99 ranged (talking about non-tanks here) get downed regularly by 1 defence. The same offence is available to them as it is to 99 defence. I know what you're trying to say. Let me assure you from first hand experience 1 defence can recover, and then destroy, 99 ranged. Every decent pker knows the karambwean trick, it's no secret, and 99 attack and strength isn't constant zeros as you've been led to believe. Especially when 99 attack and strength goes with 45 defence. Maybe in the safe pvp which you play 99 defence is godlike, I don't know, but when it comes to pking I see lower leveled tanks getting ripped by pures, with 1 defence, and maxed tanks getting ripped by pkers, with 45 defence, alot. Clan wars is NOT similiar to pking. At all.

yes it is 400k in the ge and heals 2 hp 2x faster. Though I'd imagine buying regen bracelets on the GE would be amazingly hard, seeing as the gems they're made of sell for 2.5-2.8 and are mostly made into fury amulets -.- . You might have to resort to junk trading or buying an onyx gem and getting it crafted yourself via assist system. The one I had before my current one bought instant minimum though \ I've had 3-4 regens in my playing career, they aren't too hard to get a hold of... Especially since the CB drops/dropped them, I think Yeah they sell quickly. The thing I like about it is that it's not just a faster healing rate, instead of healing 1 hp at a time you heal 2 hp at a time.

The video was more for the use of statius by init pures then downing tank rangers. He does kill a tank ranger and then a maxed level 113 barrows pker after at 5:30 though. If you want to see pures killing tanks just look at one of I pk mods I (11 defence) videos, he always has a healthy supply of them. The tanks defence isn't as godly as you think. They'll be eating alot as well.

Dunno about nervous, but like whenever I need a new whip for example, and it costs like 1.6m from a sudden [bleep]e, i'm like ffs it should be 1.2m, should I buy it like now or wait a bit? I always end up buying it like 1 minute after thinking ffs just staring at the screen. I don't even resell them unless i'm like going f2p or something.

I own ANY non pure my level. And I regularly see maxed tanks get downed by mith lords, zerker pkers and even addy daddys ;) . You'll last maybe 4 hits by a range tank. Hitting an average of 24ish per shot, you'll be hit at a faster rate then constant guzzling of sharks can counter. I devastate tanks. They're a good source of income for me. On pen and paper, yeah, they sound ownage. Omg they got gud defence and offence they must own. But when it comes to pking they don't. My clan leader (Maxed initiate pure, 100 combat) cuts through their defence like butter. The only times I get downed in pvp worlds is by other high level pures. As an additional note, with the introduction of corrupt statius (more defence bonus then barrows 20 def req) initiate pures have become alot more deadly in pvp worlds. Why is everyone crying about him making a thread that you think should be a hot topic? um, i thought thats where the best armour comes in already. one can't use barrows till lvl 70 in the relevant skill, and technically, all the best armour is in fact at the moment in the 70s. Lets not forget the underated vestas and such...though i dont like the cost, or the fact that it doesnt last that long. We need lvl 80+ armour/weapons that can bought fairly easily(maybe 10m or so). and if we get that, then the level 70 armour/weapons will go down if price, which should be good for those of that level. lolz. I was talking about weapons, not armour.
