  1. If you're so selfless, why do you have a problem with giving up a spot to a crasher? Practice what you preach and whatnot? I always offer to share the spot. ALWAYS. :shame: Good for you. You're setting an example for your kids by extending a token of generosity when you get in a conflict. Nothing wrong with that; in fact, it's an admirable sentiment. But please don't set your personal standards higher than anyone else expects of you and then admonish others for not adhering to the same code. Just to add to that, should be also then ignore those who set their standards lower than the average, rather than letting them run amok? At what level is our average and balance? Clearly defined here.

  3. If you're so selfless, why do you have a problem with giving up a spot to a crasher? Practice what you preach and whatnot? "Memoria praeteritorum bonorum," as the saying goes.
  4. If you're at an auction, do you refrain from bidding because someone else already put in a bid? No? Why not? If you're auditioning for a part in a play, do you back out because someone else is trying out for that part already? No? Why not? Or, alternately: Exactly, it's rude to push people out of a spot, so if someone crashes you, the polite thing to do is to step aside and give them their turn. After all, if there's a long line behind you at the drinking fountain, it would be rude to stand there sipping for ten minutes while everyone else is waiting.
  5. Just checking, did you finish the quest? The quest version of the sword is different (you may have noticed the icon next to its name), so that could be the problem. Otherwise, it's probably an error in the Wiki.
  6. Well, if you wanted to set aside a couple months to get 99 fishing, you could catch sturgeon and probably get to around level 75 just from that. There's also a bunch of quests you can do for agility xp, which should gain you a good few levels. Those would definitely be worth the time to get em done.
  7. lies! lol Its $.17 (works out to 16.6 so round up) per day in September, April, June & November. $.18 per day for February (rounded up) $.17 per day in February leap years (rounds down) and $.16 a day in all other months (rounded down) And isn't it actually $6?
  8. "You may not transfer items between your accounts in any way." Seems pretty straightforward to me. *shrug*
  9. No good. That's explicitly forbidden.
  10. It's an inside joke. Mod Chris L was notorious in the Jagex offices for his WoopWoopWoopery when he went dungeoneering, so they made a dungeoneering achievement in his honor. There are several others based on other Jmods as well.
  11. This is a pun... I think. No, just a mixed metaphor. :-#
  12. I would definitely go for it. You'll definitely want 43 prayer, and it's not getting any cheaper anytime soon, so you might as well bite the bullet while the iron is hot. So to speak.
  13. Prayer for sure. Save up some money in F2P and spend it in P2P with a gilded altar. Get 43 at the minimum. Runecrafting would be worth getting to 50 as well if you can manage it, and you could also try some ranged or magic.
  14. On the first day of Dungeoneering many high level members came to F2P to get fast levels because of lower level bosses. Jagex didn't like this, so they put a hidden 50% exp reduction on F2P dungeoneers over 90 combat. Now, doing a dungeon with a low level player reduces / nullifies this reduction. I'm not sure if this is because it 'tricks' the game into forgeting it, or if you just get more exp for doing all the combat work but either way, you get more exp then if everyone was 90+. It's because it's based on the average combat level of the team.
  15. There's nothing discourteous about crashing.
  16. You've gotten several replies already; if none of them are satisfactory, you should probably elaborate on what you're still looking for. :ugeek:
  17. Obvious fake screenshot. Not even a good fake--even if the fake swastikas pointed in the actual Nazi clockwise direction, they look more like the symbol for division. So...chaos druids like doing arithmetic? Yeah, fail. inb4lock.
  18. There is none. one of the dunge mines in the dwarfen mine is an ok place, cant remember what one though. crafting guild, it has been there since classic, couple with explorer ring and bank at port sarim for quick banking, it is just perfect rune essences is droping like waterfall, i going to use all my money on it, either to flip or train RC myself Even if there were good places to mine silver (those ones are mediocre at best), it still wouldn't be worth mining. Nobody buys it and the xp sucks.
  19. The snowy knights are white and the sapphire glacialis are blue. It's pretty easy to tell them apart...if you're having trouble, it's probably to do with the settings on your monitor.
  20. That is a similar reason why i am getting Bonecrusher. Useful for Hunter. But that lower herbs makes better drops obscure is really something to think about. Falconry is a bad training method even with bonecrusher, though. It is? Good to know. But i was just thinking of doing falconry for Hunter rocks. I have been there for 1 hour and more sometimes. I guess i will save my tokens and not get any. They have so minimual uses. When thinking about it, 7K-8K experience for Hunter rock is pretty little compared to time i use to get them. And the statue? It's ugly and not a statue of my avatar. From what I hear, charm sprites are supposedly faster for strange rocks. *shrug* I'm getting a little over 90k exp/hour with mousekeys and bonecrusher at 87 hunter, which seems pretty damn good to me. What would you recommend instead? Pretty sure penguins can get that or better. I think butterflies too. I mean, okay, at rates like that with fast dropping, it's not bad...I'd still say it's not good enough to make the bonecrusher worthwhile, though, unless there's some less quantifiable factor involved.

  22. No, it's like winning an auction because you have a higher bid. It's like winning the pink teddy bear because you popped the balloon before the other guy. It's like applying for a job and getting the position because you're better-qualified than the other applicants. We can play the analogy game all day long.
  23. Turmoil is definitely better for PvP. Corp probably just wants both. Dunno about TDs.
  24. The reason herbicide is (imo) better for high-level slaying is that low-level herbs can appear at the top of a drop pile and obscure better items. This is particularly problematic when cannoning aberrant spectres. Bonecrusher never has that problem. The herblore xp is minimal, but the prayer xp is only really valuable if you don't already have turmoil, in which case you're better off investing your time in actual prayer training before you slay so that you have the benefit of Turmoil while you slay. That's how I see it, anyway.
