If I'm the wings I'd much rather sign emery. Similar contract to conklin and much more upside.

Good luck! I really wonder how BB and company are going to handle the defence over the next few years. With the exception of liles, no one is off the books next year and gardiner, blacker, mikus and holzer will all be looking for a roster spot (even this year to some extent). Oh well, better too many than too few.

Stop with the bumps or it gets locked. If people want to comment, they can do so - they don't need help.

Stories of missing and abused youth
I find it kind of upsetting that popular opinion is so sure that Casey Anthony is a murderer. No one seems to accept the fact that they weren't in the court room, and probably don't have 10% of the evidence that was presented there. If we're going to jump to conclusions and make a verdict based on sensationalist news stories, why bother having a trial at all?

Yup. Like Gandorf said, that's not because of the forum itself I don't think. http://google.com EDIT: Oh, maybe it is the forum itself. Weird.

This. 99% of the world decided she was guilty before she even got to the trial. Ridiculous.

Officials, referees, and umpires
Video replay works great in hockey. Pretty much all serious calls (goal or injury) are called correctly because of video review. I can think of...one call last year that was wrong out of 30 teams playing 82 games a season each? And even then it wasn't video reviewed.

Officials, referees, and umpires
Moved to S&f. Yeah, I think refs and such usually do a pretty good job. People are just determined to nitpick. Really like any situation with authority.

Certainly gives them a boost up front, that's for sure.

The Back Room
Discussion about who is superior to others stops now, along with so called diagnosis of mental disorders. If you have nothing nice to say, don't say it at all. Further posts in this vein will be removed.

Yup. Well if pedestrians are supposed to have ROW on crosswalks and cars aren't yielding they're definitely in the wrong...but it's not fair to just make your own crosswalk and do whatever you want.

Interesting. I don't think we have any crosswalks without stop signs here though...

Hence why people are a little upset. Perhaps once you start driving you'll realize how rude and inconsiderate this is. Why is it rude or inconsiderate? Because you're making multiple drivers wait for you when they have the right of way. Then I contest drivers having right of way. I also have to use this method even when there IS a marked crosswalk because people still do not stop. But you can't contest it, because legally they have the right of way. There's no ifs, ands or buts about it. Does the marked crosswalk have a stop sign? If it doesn't they have no obligation to stop; and once again you have to wait.

What the [bleep] man? Nobody stops for pedestrains in the middle of the street because we aren't supposed to, it can be dangerous and time consuming. Use a crosswalk. Oh, sorry. Shall I go get the paint and make it? Because the nearest crosswalk to where I have to cross is about a half a mile away. No, you wait until the cars (that have the right of way) get out of the way.

Dutch court ruling on kids forcing another to hand over RS goods
But until Jagex introduces micro-transactions, those goods belong to Jagex, not the kid. Therefore, the kid had nothing stolen from him, nor was any of that "real monetary value" even his. Actually, even when microtransactions do get added, you will still not own the item. You're paying for a license for the item, not the item itself. Everything still belongs to Jagex. Personally they shouldn't be worrying about who owns what. Let's focus on putting those psychopathic little [bleep]ers away for a long time that would threaten to knife someone over video game goods. Even then, these kids still stole a license, if not the actual good. Similar to stealing a cd key from a video game box at a store, even if you aren't stealing the physical disk.

I don't consider lombardi a key piece for the leafs. Kind of like the beachemin trade - lupul was nice to have but gardiner was the main piece. But still, we got rid of lebda. I've been ecstatic all day :D
