  1. This. While a six day build time is quite quick, it's not unheard of. When you consider that the construction was likely done as a publicity stunt, there is nothing really unusual here. This. If they'd built that as they normally did the construction time would be comparable to that of other countries. And china a world power? Not any time soon. The one child policy has effectively screwed them for the future as they're going to face massive aging and a plummeting population.
  2. Obviously I'm not really involved with the process but the selection combined with training and processing can take some time. I'd guestimate mid-late december earliest.
  3. No, because not every reproductive cell is a stem cell that will grow into a human being.
  4. I somehow doubt he's coming back. If you want the game to succeed someone should volunteer to be "slushee".

Agreed. It was terribly mediocre. Tim Burton remakes always suck. In fact, just about all Tim Burton movies are sub-par. he tries too hard to be "different" but ends up being that awkward curly-haired kid who wears all black to fit in with the goth kids I don't know that all of his movies are sub-par, certainly a lot are though. I really liked Sweeney Todd, for instance. I find it a little unfortunate that he keeps using Helena Bonham Carter in his movies; I mean, I know they're married, but God I can't stand her.

  7. Yeah I don't know python. Only know of eval from a php standpoint :(
  8. My mistake. The human deserves the right to life. Biologically, it is human, this is scientific fact.
  9. Yet I doubt you'd say the same if I said: I'm pro-life. The baby has a right to life.
  10. Good to know your morals are so flexible they can be disregarded at the drop of a hat. Not all of us are like that.
  11. Catholic households - only republican. Abortion - more kids finishing high school. Because every aborted child would have been a failure anyway. If morals and ethics could reasonably be set aside in this debate, there would be no debate. The nature of morals is not something that allows "setting aside". If you truly believe in something, you will fight for it. Also, are you suggesting the Vatican is faking statistics? Prove the source wrong, don't just label it bad. Wikipedia is used as a source by tons of people here on both sides of debates. Given the fact that wikipedia articles are usually pretty well sourced it should be pretty easy to obtain a "legitimate" source from there.
  12. Stay on topic please :)
  13. Interesting topic. Hacking is one that I wish would cease completely. While I'm thankful that many clans chose not to adopt such techniques, that (combined with ddosing) show some people take this game way too seriously. In terms of the others that we've lost, it's debatable that returning changed the clan world for the worse, but the others...well, change is always going to happen and in many ways I feel they made things more interesting. Obviously nobody likes rule breakers but I don't think there's any clan that can claim to never having broken the rules once.

A decent list, but like shiny said, there's no variety.
  15. I actually agree that the mother's right to life supersedes that of the unborn child - which is why abortion is acceptable when the life of the mother is directly threatened.
  16. 3 mins left in TO vs FL...4-1. Perhaps we'll have better luck against NJ
  17. No, because you're not killing a child.
  18. I'm quite sure it is a very difficult decision for many mothers. It doesn't change the fact that many people hold the opinion I sarcastically posted.
  19. Yeah that seems a bit high...considering Kaberle makes barely 4 if I remember correctly. Then again, as far as offensive defensemen go, Kaberle's a real bargain.
  20. I agree. Well almost..Kessel is still developing, I'd call him a star; but he needs good teammates which he doesn't have. How much does Phaneuf make a year?
  21. Which I am disagreeing with, and telling you why I disagree. ;) But seriously, the room is the worst movie ever made. It's like iron man with Tommy Wiseau, except he doesn't wear a metal suit to cover his silly face. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Room_(film)
  22. We can make one at any time, so let's throw it away!
  23. Of course I'm arguing subjectivity. So are you. Why I replied to your bait, well..I don't even know that. I don't see how i proved it was only your opinionated belief? There is no absolute in something like this, but it's generally accepted that certain elements of a film make it bad. Aka, worse than others. I don't see how you've proven that Iron man 2 had any more of that than many other movies widely regarded as "worse".
