  1. I like how you are playing with my words what i said is if you support it and they call themselves a humanitarian flotilla that means you agree that they are a humanitarian flotilla even if their plan (a least the people aboard the Mavi Marmara) was to attack IDF soilders not to bring Humanitarian Aid there was no Humanitarian Aid aboard the Mavi Marmara where the IDF solders were attacked and killed 9 of the attackers http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/news.aspx/137997 http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/news.aspx/137799 Ok, I've tried to see where you're going with this, but stating that "there was no Humanitarian Aid" aboard the Mavi Marmar is completely ridiculous. There's absolutely zero evidence to indicate that the "plan" was to "attack" Israeli soldiers. If that had been the plan, you'd think they would have at least thought to bring weapons to accomplish it properly. It seems to me that they objected to Israel searching their ship (which Israel had every right to do, albeit not in international waters) they tried (stupidly) to prevent them from boarding, and paid the price.
  2. At this point, I think reformatting is your best option. Didn't your other thread suggest you might need a new HD as well?
  3. [hide=long image][/hide] I'm in the process of downloading it now for my new computer. I wonder if it will be as easy as I expect :P
  4. No because there's still a chance I may come back. And, just a question, are you okay with killing deeply ill people in a lot of pain to end their suffering? No, never. Okay so is there such an injustice to warrant the killing of someone? No, never. The only time killing is morally acceptable (in my opinion) is when it directly, unquestionably, saves more lives than it takes.

  6. Meh my subscription runs out in a week anyway, I'm not going to renew. I have a guild currently, they are just casual though so I basically end up pugging everything.
  7. But that's exactly my point. You end someone's life in a coma when their life is otherwise over. Killing an unborn fetus is ending the life before it even begins.
  8. But what if you live in a 20 m² apartment, and there's been nothing but scorching sun in weeks? And then there's jazz. then you need to go outside, get a bonfire going, and make smores. only some proper smores with cold drink can cure constant summer / sun. I definitely agree that virtual can never replace real, it's just kind of cool to see what the internet can come up with.
  9. I never claimed there was any new information there, I only thought it would be interesting to show.
  10. I got a pleasant reminder of the joy of pugs today. I joined a group starting on putricide, we went and did dreamwalker first, and one shotted no problem. Then we go to putricide, I start the fight at like 8.5k dps, and by the end from running back and forth to the slimes i'm down to 5k ish. Now there were only two melee, me and a rogue, after we wiped I start getting flamed in vent "why does your dps suck lololol" and I say I have to move between the slimes which obviously lessens it. They say "the rogue has good dps" but he wasn't even switching to the slimes at all, which is why we wiped, and then i get kicked. Damn I need a guild.
  11. So if you were mentally challenged, or perhaps in a coma, it would be ok to kill you off because you're an inconvenience?
  12. Oh ok, so when someone does that to you'll agree with it.
  13. Bruises aren't a trait by any means, so no there are no evolutionary benefits. My best guess is think skin or strong blood vessels, though obviously I'm no doctor ;)
  14. Yeah, that sucks. I personally know several people of who have kids young, very young, and these kids have turned out to be caring, mature, and respectful people. But that doesn't matter. No matter what the situation, no matter what the cost, we do not have the right to take a life to fix a problem.
  15. An hour long video taken by the people on the ship was released today. [hide=Warning, graphic imagery] [/hide]
  16. Proxify is good from what I've heard, but to get the full bonus you need to pay (the free features are fairly limited).
  17. Nor will we know how the baby involved in the terminated pregnancy feels because it never got a chance to voice its opinion. Its only voice is in the pro-life movement, so it's necessary for us to speak about the rights and obligations of its mother to defend the voiceless fetus. Is pregnancy easy? Hell no. I respect all mothers who are able to go through that kind of pain, because it is required if we want humanity to go on. But once the baby is conceived, is it an obligation for the mother to make this sacrifice to respect the baby's rights? That's where we have to speak up. What if having the baby will result in making 3 people's lives unbareable? (The father, the son baby, and the holy spirit mother.) Unbearable? What? A human being, an innocent human being, makes your life "unbearable"? People who steal your possessions, kill your family members, and destroy your home are unbearable. Not an innocent child, sorry.
  18. Well the thing is that since C++ is an old(er) language the majority of people here aren't as familiar with it as they are otherwise. Besides, nothing beats hands on instructions. But yes, the "for dummies" and "head first" series books are great for starting out.
  19. Ahh yes, I forgot deaf people are Hollywood's primary audience.
  20. Does it have to be done in C++? That's not exactly the easiest "first language" to learn. EDIT: If your dad knows it, I assume he does it as a job. If he does it as a job, there's no better way to learn, and if he's any sort of parent I'm sure he'd be happy to help you.
  21. And thus, when they do something that requires hearing, they are at a disadvantage. Of course it is. I wouldn't dream of forcing deaf people to behave in any specific way whatsoever. However, my point is that if you were stuck in the arctic naked without knowing yoga you would be at a disadvantage, just as deaf people are when attempting to do something meant for the hearing.
  22. I wouldn't be disadvantaged unless I tried to play professional basketball, which is exactly my point ;) It has been proven that people lacking one sense will have stronger senses in other departments. There are definitely some situations where Deaf people will beat you in their visual sense and this could potentially save their life over yours. Also if a 400 pound rock falls on my dad, he could bench press it off and save his life due to his physical strength. Therefore you are disabled and need to train your strength incase you have to save your life. I trained in martial arts for 10 years of my life and have actually faught off a mugger with my abilities. You dont have these abilities and therefore in order to be fully prepared to save your life, you need to know martial arts. Damn thats a lot of stuff you better start training...strength, speed, martial arts, vertical jump...all of these could be life saving, how many do you choose to train? Why don't you train in yoga, so you can survive for days in freezing temperatures naked?
