By thousands you probably mean 2000 or more and even farming clues and having every bit of equipment and knowledge it would take AT THE VERY LEAST one hour to get and finish a clue scroll so you are saying you have spent more time then my whole runescape career on clue scrolls and got nothing over 600k? (which I have got a 1mil reward clue so now I really do feel sorry for you) (and answering number 2, that isn't the monster dropping them slower, its your boredom making it seem longer until time is dragged on the ground with no legs)

So true, I started training Slayer before I could even do Chaeldar and now if I trained slayer I could be a level 110 at Gargoyles Oh and I do controlled ALL THE TIME, I love it.

Because the whole point of clue scrolls was to MAKE money. Now they're just an annoyance that takes you away from regular training. Its a game... the point of a game is to have fun. When you are so addicted to a game that the piles of cash are more important to you then the fun its time to take a break. A long break.

You're using a rather extreme and rare example, doing that can pretty much justify anything. I can justify not having a bank pin by saying what if there was a really good merchanting offer that only lasted a few seconds and because you had to input your bank pin before withdrawing your coins you couldn't offer the trade in time. Also, many other alternative exist, you can make it voluntary, such as using a pause button (no ability to interact with the game, but all of your settings are kept intact and you don't have to re-enter your pin), or being able to toggle it (so you can have a logout timer while you're at steel dragons, and then turn it off while you're cooking or something). Extreme? Not really Rare? Yes, but only because you are not seeing the big picture. I have had this happen to me MANY different times and the logout timer saved me a few of these times. I am killing X monster and my router goes out/my crappy ISP decides to go out on me. I either kill it and log out before another one of the monster decides to take a whack at me or I die and lose many things. I have died at green dragons before when that happened and have had many many MANY different times where I lagged out and it is an easy enough monster to where I can kill and log out. If there was no logout timer I would have to wait for the monster to go unagressive and that means staying letting the monster attack me for upwards of 30 minutes! I support the logout timer, and if you are too lazy to just log out before you do something then its your own damn fault

Plus I never spend over 3 hours on a clue or cannot get to a place in a clue because I know how to do puzzles, all the uri emote clue stuff I keep after the clue, I can get into any place described with clues, and I have a house that can tele me AT LEAST a 5 minute walk away from a clue (and that is worst case scenario) Yeah I like clues. And my best single reward has only been a rune gold trimmed helm and the best overall clue was that helm and zammy legs and yet I still like to do clues.

Half the stories in here are so fake... Dieing by teleing through the wilderness and appearing infront of about 3 different revs, I got back with plenty of time left luckily...

So, I was fishing a bit in Edegville...As I walked back to the bank to store my recently caught goods, I came across a player moderator threatening a young man for something he might do.. The conversation as from what I could tell whilst eavesdropping was that the young man was having a bit of an argument with another player, he kept a level head and didn't break any rules..the argument ended abruptly probably due to the better sense of adding one another to each others ignore list. After 2 minuets had gone by..well something like this happened. Young man1: "Ok, you know what.. I don't feel like talking about this" young man2: "whatever dude" a minuet or two passes Moderator: "Either you guys stop arguing or your getting muted" me: "use some sense..they're not arguing -.- " Moderator: "you be quiet to, or your getting a mute" At this point the two players step in at my defense...moments later I get a private message from the first young man saying "the idiot just muted me...do me a favor and report him with me, eh?" That altercation occured more than a week ago...today, I got an email from jagex ( :thumbsup: ) apologizing for the bad choice in this person as a moderator...and stripped him of his privileges. :twisted: I likez getting pplz banned! cuz Imz !33t f0r $ur3! :lol:
