Wishful thinking, do you think that you can get a defence noob in full rune killed? It's hard without entangle they might have given us that as well or that other thing spell (snare?) or else they'll just run and do what they can do like nobody else tank, safe and flame... Yes I hate full rune def noobs in non-members who always waste my food in pvp and pj in the middle of good fights or at the end. They also safe and if I use magic they'll pray... And also I don't like the potential gainers but I hate def noobs more...

Hmm I don't have a problem with the losing the pixels, but I do have a problem with the noobs who get them by ruining my fun...

Pff if I die because of a pjer, which is what happens in most cases or some noob who's like 80+ combat, I'll say something bad like noob, nerd, ffs and the list goes on... If I die in a fair fight I mostly don't say anything, no offence you killed me in a fair way so I don't really care. But it's been quite a long time since I've fougth a fair fight -.- .

Pff I don't care about that corrupt dragon, I haven't seen it being used that much either. Don't know the current prices but I know they're high, and this for 30 minutes. So I think this price balances it a bit, when you pay that much for the measly 30 minutes, than the weapon you bought better be good, and it should be powerfull. And I kinda agree with the topic starter, magic and ranged do need some new stuff for pvp but I'm not sure about all the stuff.

Hmm mostly when I cut yews in Edgeville some pure comes up and kills me, guess they all want a picture of them when they kill someone with a magic skillcape... While they kill me I might flame them, but that's not always. And if they're really annoying and keep killing me, well I just put them on my ignore list (blacklist...). If I see someone blacklisted he doesn't need to count on some honor pking or that kind of stuff...

Doubt you still have trouble with it but, if they haven't fixed it yet and someone else has trouble with it. Well then you should just search for an item click on it and the box should be gone, at least that's what worked for me.

I don't agree with the teleporting thing, might be strange to hear from a pker but really... I hate it when some higher level pure like level 80 attacks me and I run to a safe place, but still he can attack for 10 seconds. He makes me waste food or even kills me unfairly, I just want to get away so I teleport to my house. And if they don't want me to teleport well just get 85 magic and teleblock me... And uhm the safe pvp, well you've clan wars, it'd be a better suggestion for clan wars to have some level system over there, well like the old wilderniss. I agree with the rest though.

Hmm I checked some G.E. prices for herblore stuff when I saw this thread, but there's still no profit or break even making potions... But yeah smithing might revive.

Hmm I pk often myself, and yes I do take a teleport sometimes. I don't just want to drop dead in front of a clan of like 20 people... That'd be very stupid, there's no skill in piling 1 guy with 20 people so I'll try to get away. But this is in multi only...

Most of the time conversations used to go like this: (Random guy = x) x: Ranged level? me: 94 x: Don't lie me: Wait... me: (uses quickchat so fast that I couldn't have typed it) x: No way, everyone can do that me: not that fast x: (after half an hour he typed the same as the quickchat thing and says see) me: That wasn't fast... x: I still don't believe you me: Check hi-scores After this either they check or just keep on argueing... If they checked there's suddenly this awkward silence... Or they start to say things like:"Omg nice!" Now when I wear my magic cape it goes like this: x: Nice cape me: Thanks (After this they either leave me or ask on about magic/ranged) x: How did you get it? me: Alching... x: What did you alch? me: Yew longs... x: How much did it cost you? me: Close to 10M, I think x: What's your other 99? (they ask this because of the trim) me: Fletching, I fletched a big part of my own bows, well strung... After this the conversation just ends or they ask about my ranged level. But when I wear my magic cape they tend to believe me faster than when I don't. Guess it shows them that it's possible to get a combat 99 at low combat. (71 in my case)

Uhm don't we have this hitpoint icon already? Anyway if you could select to have it near the minimap, above your hitpoint bar or maybe both, at options that'd be good. But do not make this visible to other players, I wouldn't like to see all this spam of numbers. And it would make pvp easier, now they don't know how much hitpoints I've or have left. Because 1 hitpoint is way much smaller on a 99 hitpoint bar than on a hitpoint bar that has to indicate 10 hitpoints.

Still 72 combat with 99 ranged but with 99 hitpoints I'll be 75 now... Well I guess I'll only do combat every once in a while after 99 ranged and only do pvp.

Well thanks all for the comments so far but uhm I got owned... Today something really stupid happened... I decided to have some fun in clan wars, I also took some runes for fire blast (became non-member). I selected the spell which I'd like to use in there, so I click the OFFENSIVE spell mode, the one without the blue shield. I started to attack someone in adamant but still he won. So I died, suddenly I stood there outside without anything left I was like what?!? Well seems like I went to the dangerous clan wars, because of my bad mouse and laggy connection I must've misclicked. I didn't check the left side of my screen though because I tought I was in the safe one. I was like ok I lost my stuff but I don't care, I can get that back. So after all this bad luck it wasn't enough yet. I logged out shortly after I died, I just stood there with nothing left. A few hours later I log back on and was like ah well I still have my account and I can get 99 ranged, and other nice stats. Seems not... I went back to the Exchange and bought a bow ranged armor and stuff. After I got everything I was wondering on what I would train my ranged. I thought hmm maybe I can safespot those little level 56 cockroaches so lets give those a try. When I descended in the dungeon there was this big roach. I was like hmm why not kill one I'm sure I can handle 1 and I might get lucky, you never know... Well I got unlucky. So I started to shoot arrows at him and hit decent, he hit a little back. Some other guys also teamed up with me, but I hit better. After 3 arrows I suddenly get this message congratulations your defence level is 3 :shock: ... I was like what's that?!? Well guess what I was training with long ranged. I ran out the dungeon messaged some friends and stuff, actually I was kinda dissapointed. But then I started to wonder how's this possible, I really didn't even touch my modes... So after I while I tried something, I went back to the dangerous clan wars, this time with an air staff and a death rune. I select the offensive spell mode again and put auto retaliate off. I run in and get killed. When I stood outside I checked my modes, and guess what, when you die with a staff which has a spell selected to cast it switches to defence mode... Now I wonder how that makes sense, if I'm casting offensive spells and don't want to train defence, why does it switch to the defence mode when I die then? Could've just put it on attack mode, I'd understand it if I was training with the shared spell but with the not shared :cry: ... So weird one day you're having fun and achieving great things, other day it's all so... meh. Anyway this shouldn't turn into a blog or something like that. Just wanted to let you guys know. And yeah maybe I failed but it doesn't make sence for me, the mode switching. You can still rate my pure or just read, you don't have too rate or rate this bad luck. ( I'd give it -10,000/10...)

Hi everyone, this is my first rate thread, I hope you'll like it. I'll try to write a bit about my history but, uhm I really can't write storries and stuff that good, so if you don't like them just skip it and rate. So this is my pure Aegis Titan (the name has got nothing to do with Age of Empires -.- or some cheat code ). When I first started to play RuneScape I didn't know much about pures and the wilderniss, I just hated it. I lost a full mithril there once because of a clan, and that was a lot in my noob days :lol: . But after a while I started to understand more about how things in RuneScape worked, and decided to make a pure. I don't know the exact age of this account, I think it's like 4 years, but I'm not 100% sure. I don't have certain holiday items because I just got them on my main and I thought that this account never would become something good. So I can't really check those to see how old my pure is. Of course I made some mistakes in these, they're in the hide thing if you want to read a bit about them. Or you can just check out my stats and see what went wrong. [hide=Failures]I really enjoyed training my pure, but there were 3 things that happened that I hate. First thing that went wrong was burying a big bone while ranging ice giants, I wanted to drop it but misclicked, I already had some experience from previous accidents, but as long as I didn't get 2 prayer it was ok. Well with this big bone I got 2 prayer -.- . First thing I did was calculate if it would affect my combat but it didn't so I just got over it. Although I must admit that 2 was very ugly... The second one was when I switched from an axe on crush mode too my rune c'bow, hit a 23 and got 2 defence :cry: . I did the same thing as with the 2 prayer calculate if it would affect my combat in the long run, and again it didn't (lucky me \ ). But at that moment it got me to 66 combat, so no more 94 magic in lower crater. And after all these mistakes you'd think they won't happen again, well guess what I misclicked on a dragon bone while ranging black dragons and got 12 prayer, but doesn't affect my combat either... Now I can't have any accidents anymore because then it will affect my combat.[/hide] So here are my stats, I made this picture today so they're up to date, after all my playing I finaly got 2 99s, magic and fletching. I got them both this week, on monday I got magic and got fletching today. As you can see I've 1411 total, which I think is pretty ok for a pure. Also almost all my non-combat skills are 50+, except smithing. I don't like this skill because it costs a lot, and it's pretty boring. Another skill I don't like is runecrafting, but I just got it to 50 so I could enter the guild and get those nature altar tabs/runecrafter clothes. I got 57 from crafting natures afterwards with tabs and playing the great orb project. Other skills could be better like cooking and stuff, but why would I just cook to get some levels? I'd enjoy training ranged more... Now some may ask why 99 magic, well it's ok experience if you pay attention, and the cape looks good. But I've to admit it's kinda useless, because I haven't noticed much difference in accuracy. And the fletching why get 99 fletching? I just got this as a byproduct of magic, I fletched a big chunk of my own bows, just not the last 25k, and at other levels I may have bought some alchs too, but not that many. Another reason why I got 99 fletching is that a magic (t) cape looks so much better \ . Even though the best cape has yet to come and it'll be ranged :D . This is a cape I've always wanted, but not in a rush. I didn't make that many pictures though, and I also lost some of them. So I'll post some really important milestones for me. [hide=Road to 99 ranged] This is me training at my favourite non-member spot... Also this was my first skill in the high 80s. Got this level with some pest points, but meh I'm not really fond of pest control, this was my first level 90 skill.[/hide] Some pictures from magic training... [hide=Road to 99 magic] I'd like to thank Ne86, Expat1 and Run My Ores for comming :thumbup: This is when I got 10M magic experience. Still 3Mish left... And finaly after a long time I achieved 99 magic, but sadly enough there weren't many people online to come :|, still I'd like to thank Ne86 for comming again :thumbup: . WOOT I can get my cape now :D .[/hide] And here are the pictures of me achieving 99 fletching. [hide=99 fletching] Well most people look down on fletching capes, I think it looks decent. But it isn't something worth a big party so I just got it. Took this picture after I got the cape ;)[/hide] Now for me certain skill levels aren't the only achievements, I like to do some challenging things too, like quests or some pvp mini-games, well lets just say fist of guthix : . So I'll post some pictures of things I achieved, like quests or collect x number of certain items. [hide=Quests]After having spent a while in members I started to do some quests every once in a while, just for a challenge or to do something else. But a quest I really liked was as a first resort. Even though I got 2 defence when collecting wolf bones during this quest -.- , irony... But I don't have a picture of completing it. This is one of the first quest I completed which I thought that was hard, because you need 56 agility (did it with 53 though) and you had to go quite often through the underground pass which can be a pain. But after this quest I could finaly do the Roving elves quest... So here are some pictures of me completing the roving elves, the first one shows my stats when I completed the quest, the second one my combat level. I was pretty proud of my crystal bow at 59 combat. But I saw a 56 with it afterwards so I'm not the lowest combat with crystal bow. Even though I was pretty proud I never recharged the bow :-# . The next hard quest was desert treasure, with a very good reward... Ancient magicks ftw :thumbsup: . And a reward which I don't really, I had to complete Priest in Peril which gave me 11 prayer, but I think it's worth it, because ancients are very powerful. In the first picture you can see my stats, in the second my combat level. The reason why this quest was hard was because of Damis, I got lucky when I got him stuck behind a rat. When I checked how many bolts I had left I saw I only had 27 left. Had to leave my safespot to pick the other ones up, thought I'd fail and that I'd never get him stuck again. But I did it got him stuck for the second time :D . The other bosses weren't super easy but not that hard as Damis, I had to try 6 times I think before beating him. This was solo though, the only thing where I couldn't get past solo were those ice wolves, but that's about it. Now the one of the hardest quests so far was contact, I did it with 11 prayer. Most people told me I'd be impossible but meh I thought I'd give it a try (well 2 actually). Even though I killed the boss, it was a close call, I only had 18 hitpoints left when I killed him. This time the first picture shows my combat level, the second one my stats. Of course I had to do some tests with keris, but this isn't my max hit, not wearing all my strength boosting gear...[/hide] Now some things I've collected/drops/other achievements nothing really impressive... [hide=Random stuff] Getting 201 agility tickets, it was kind of hard and boring so I made a screenshot, as you can see it's quite old too. My first dragon drop ever was this spear, well I don't have a picture of it laying in a pile but meh this isn't fake, I wouldn't go to the fire giants with a spear in my inventory just to say:"omg I got a dragon spear@@!!!"... I was happy to get it but when I checked the price I was kinda dissapointed, but still free 50k. Here's my picture when I got dragon legs. This was my first time at metal dragons. It was kinda weird how I got them. One moment I was killing a dragon and suddenly I get this connection lost thing. I thought meh I hope I don't die, when I finaly get back online I see this nice pair of legs in front of me on the floor. Back then they were like 800k+. My charm collection, even though I wasn't going to train summoning I just collected them for fun. But I became non-member and had to drop them all, so I took a picture. Think it was a decent collection. A picture of a nice amount of tokens from fist of guthix, but I've had 2.5k before, didn't take a screenshot though. I exchanged them all for rune gaunlets and sold them on the exchange, so far I've made 2M from fist of guthix. To lower the cost of 99 magic I had to craft 10k natures, did it with tabs though but still it was kinda boring... This is when I got 10k tokkul, could've been 15k but I died with 5k in my inventory because of a disconect, so no grave...[/hide] Well I don't have any fancy outfits, I'm not that rich anymore after 99 magic and fletching... But I'll post something anyway, also I can't wear any of those fancy armors because I only have 2 defence. But this is what I would wear if I wasn't going to non-members, which I'm becoming tomorrow so it'll be green d'hide again... Almost forgot these outfits lol, so I edited this a bit, here are all my minigame outfits, well circus and runecrafter clothes. As you can see I've full ringmaster and acrobat, not bad for a level 71 8-) . Hmm a very nice guide, but I think you should add something about moss giants in the members section: compromising... I trained there with knives, and I liked them more than fire giants. I'll give the reasons why... -They're only level 42, with 60 hitpoints (1.43 ratio), also their max hit isn't high (like 6) -Left click option for lower levels, like me. -Very low defence, knives can shred them, certainly at higher ranged levels. -I found the drops to be better than fire giant drops (ranarr, snapdragon seeds...), also more frequent than rune scimitars from fire giants. -Not that crowded like fire giants often are, certainly not if you range them on moss giant island. Well the Ardougne ones can get crowded sometimes but that's ok. -The ones in Ardounge are also pretty close to a bank, and easy to safespot. Fire giants sometimes become aggresive again when you try to safespot them with the table. -And you don't need a quest to acces the best spots. Well that's all I could think of, but there's a downside too, like with all the power training. You've to pay constant attention, you don't really have to with fire giants, because they've more hitpoints and a little bit higher defence.

I just hate castle wars, I get these high levels on me, they pile with like 4+... When I barrage them they just flame me for being a noob. Erm if you see me as free kills you're wrong. I just love to make these guys fail.

Uhm, can you choose in which skill you'd like to get the experience? Or is it like tears of guthix?
