This isn't duel arena. I needn't have to conform to any rules. I should be able to fight however I wish. It's impossible to have a discussion about pking on tipit most of the people who react to this have never been in pvp, was this your first time too? Also if you can't stand the fact that your target asks for no armor well stay out of pvp. After all you want to keep your armor too, that's your decision, so they have the right to not fight you with armor and prefer no armor.

in f2p i agree except if you are fighting a pure Hmm even when it's a pure you can get lucky, your defence still helps a bit and if he has bad luck well he can get killed easily. This doesn't happen often though. But on the other hand with armor you aren't 100% safe either, if he gets some lucky hits, the strength pure but certainly if it's a ranger (or mager for the level 50- people) ranged somehow seems to hit armor better than attack. And to the guy above me, that's just a fail comment... Lets see do you want to win 2 fights in 10 minutes, with a challenge or do you want to a fight that lasts like half an hour without any challenge. When you run out of food or are about to run out, you just run or even walk, there's no way the other guy will kill you. Also a chance for a ko is small. Also I'm kinda tired of the noobs who attack me with armor on and think they own me. I'm not harrasing you, leave me alone, I never asked for a fight I'm just looking for other people without armor.

Sigh... The reason why they want a no armor fight is because with armor in non-members it's a very boring fight. I've seen plenty of people with like 75 defence or 62 do no armor. If you want a fight with armor go members or you need to have a target who his intrested in hitting 0s for half an hour.

Hunter crossbow, with kebbit bolts, decent speed and good accuracy, but I'm not sure if it'll work with your ranged. Also it's less expensive to use than dars or rings, and I think you can only buy 100 rings every 4 hours.

A new rule that should be in a sticky: Don't post pking discussions in general discussion. The comment that's always used: I want to win so I do it my way and I'll pray safe blah blah blah... Now hmm who would use that, oh right the people who don't pvp -.- . Post this in graveyard where it just dies or gets one post in a week. I wonder how it comes that the graveyard on tipit is soooooo popular.

I'm wondering why some people actually call pures abusers of the combat system... I mean look at those tank rangers, they get 99 ranged and hit like 60s with so much luck and their dragon bolts (e). Also they wear armor to range, while jagex says that you need to wear d'hide to be effective with ranged. Yeah right I can get almost the same defence or more than a melee zerker pure while ranging, also I'll hit higher and more consistent. And attack, hmm I thought lets get high attack, I've 88 attack at 99 combat and 91 strength, and I can't hit a ranger in d'hide and archer helm with like 70 defence? Or a level 91 ranger with 61 defence wins from me, he didn't even have 99 ranged yet. To be honest I think that attack should get some more power, this would make fights a bit more intresting, also for non-members since you'll hit a ton of 0s on full rune right now, even with high attack. These days this is what I think about the combat system: Ranged>melee>magic well at least till like level 110 but past that everone likes melee more, but I bet that ranged would own too.

Welcome to the pvp world, currently we have 1500 people online. 1000 kids doing 26k tricks, 450 pjers who pray camp in banks or 1 item and about 50 pkers who can pk but always die because of pjers.

Hmm about that combat abuse stuff, well I could say: "omg level 102 with 99 defence, def nerd don't abuse the combat system@@!"... Yes I saw some level 102 tank ranger with 99 defence, he was picking on my level 97 friend while praying melee -.- . Also his attitude was far worse than that of a pure, he was calling my friend a noob, for not fighting someone 5 levels higher, who can hit like 60s with some luck.

Well I knew about the obby rings but I didn't suggest them because the limit is 100 every 4 hours, although I've 381 if you want to buy them I'll add you.

I've used a hunter crossbow there for a while, and when some other tanker tried to steal my kill I won, most of the time, even of some level 110+ guys. But that's with 99 ranged and a pot though, so I don't know how it works out with lower ranged. Also the bolts are even cheaper than broad tipped, it's faster than a rune crossbow and I think the accuracy is decent.

Thanks for the help so far everyone, I did some math and I found out that I'll need 8.5M for 68 summoning, if I bought all the shards at once. But I can get 3/4th back I think with that ogre. So I don't really think that money is going to be a problem. If anyone has some more suggestions about anything, feel free to post. And for the charms, I'm not quite sure if I'm going to charm hunt already, might as well stick with slayer. I never knew about the cockroach soldiers but they might be a bit hard with 45 defence, I'll figure that out later.

Have you looked at how many you're going to need for each familiar pouch to make and how many you're going to need total? Yes, I know I'll need quite a bit, but haven't checked the total price/total amount yet, I'll do that now. And if anyone has some advice about getting charms or seconds, well you can post that too. But I'm most likely going to try to get as many as possible through slayer. And if you need to know my stats: 75 attack 89 (soon 90) strength 45 defence 92 hitpoints 99 ranged 99 magic 52 prayer 94 combat

Hello, I'm wondering what's the best way to get 68 summoning? I've a plan, but I think it kinda fails, not sure so I'll post it. So if anyone has suggestions how to get 68 the most efficient way, please feel free to post them. The quest gets me to level 4 (wolf whistle) and gives me gold charms. So I'll start at level 4... 4 --> 16 266 dreadfowls (266 gold charms/266 raw chicken) 16 --> 28 374 granite crabs (374 gold charms/374 iron ores) 28 --> 33 150 compost mounds (150 green charms/150 compost) 33 --> 41 398 beavers (398 green charms/398 willow logs) 41 --> 47 470 macaw (470 green charms/470 guam) 47 --> 49 200 magpies (200 green charms/200 gold rings) 49 --> 63 1287 bloated leeches (1287 crimson charms/1287 beef) 63 --> 64 137 spirit cobras (137 crimson charms/137 snake hides) 64 --> 66 317 stranger plants (317 crimson charms/317 bagged plants) 66 --> 68 I'll use all the blues I'll have gathered by then, on mithril minotaurs and if that doesn't get me 68 I'll use some golds on barker toads. So if I follow this plan I'll need 640 gold, 1218 green and 1741 crimson charms for 66, after 66 I'm not sure yet what I'll need since it'll depend on how many blue charms I've. Thanks in advance.

Pff not like there's much pvp left... All I see are void nerds and their dark bows ruining good fights, or some random nerd who could buy claws. And all they do is camp at the edges, turn prayer on run in spec, pjing the other and making them lose like 100ks of decent gear for real pvp. Mostly it's like this, like 20 people fighting, 100 are ready to pj and all the rest is windstriking and some others are fighting with teams in the wild.

Erm, a pure isn't completely useless, at the lower levels it's fun to have a mage pure in non-members. But that's till about level 40, maybe lower, after this they get shred by most rangers. Mages are only useful because they can hit high for their level. I'd use a combination of magic and ranged, so when you fight you range them first till they're at low hitpoints and then you cast a spell like firebolt, or whatever the best spell is you can use. This can ko them. And after 40 combat you should do ranged 2 handed or just pure melee. Don't know about the defence or prayer though, if you train defence at the lower levels you're fairly useless. And prayer, well that's up to you but I wouldn't get it at like level 20 I'd wait till like 40+ if you want it, if you don't want it that's ok too. I made this post asuming that you're pure is non-members though, if it's for members then things might turn out a bit different. Also paw claw might be right, I'm not sure about it though, yesterday I saw a maxed initiate pure own a tank ranger. But when you reach level 80 or something like that as a pure you get all these zerker noobs on you, and mostly they're 90+ -.- . And indeed you don't stand a chance as a pure against them. But against one you're own level, if you use ranged and manage to survive against his dagger things might not look so bad for you.

Yes, but a skill cape isn't going to help that much in defeating a monster, only a trimmed cape has a nice prayer bonus but that's it. Although those super high leveled weapons, I'm not very sure about it. Dark bow for example and void is already so overpowered for pjing and dragon claws or armadyl godsword... What do you want more? Maybe only for boss hunting?

Lol, so just because YOU are not able to kill someone, the other guy is a noob? If you feel you have to eat a lot of food, that's because you DIDN'T TRAIN YOUR DEF. If you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen. I didn't say I've to eat a lot but running from some noob in rune who's like 14 levels higher than me while he's hitting me costs food too, to heal afterwards or sometimes while I'm running. These kids are sometimes so sad that when I'm doing a no armor fight with a level 90 they're ready to attack me in the middle of the fight. And they're mostly like level 80. So how'd you like it if you were 76 fighting a 90er and still getting teamed up? And stopping in the middle of a fight and having to run because of this, yes that is a waste of food... Now you might say that pures do that too, I can remember maybe 1 or 2 pures who pile jumped me but that's nothing compared to the 100 guys in rune that did it. And if I start running because they've rune, much more combat levels and safe, I get flamed for being a nerd because I didn't die in front of their feet without any effort? Like duh I'll call them a def noob... Also I'm talking about non-members, in members I don't have a problem with people in rune.

Well I'm a pure and call those guys in rune in non-members a def noob all the time. But that's just because they're so annoying, I'm only 76 combat... So when some random nub who has never been to pvp comes to these worlds and he's like 80+ combat, he'll be harrasing me all the time. So they waste my food, jump on me in the middle of a fight. They're just so annoying and when I try to range them back, with 99 ranged and 44 prayer I can't even scratch them. So they feel uber leet and think omg i pwnzor 99 range@@@... And if you manage to hit them with a few decent hits they'll eat at half hitpoints. Just leave me and fight your own kind so you can waste an entire inventory of food and run after like 20 minutes of hitting a lot of 0s and nobody ends up with a kill.
