Hex, you can't just discover things, they need Research, or at the very least, a timespan to put them into mass production.

I don't even think the military actively use autotargeting turrets yet. Because it's hard to get a machine to be able to differentiate a head from say, a football.

Well the problem would be getting access to a turret, and some way to maintain it. Then you need to set it to identify and shoot the head... It would be a luxury to have it, but almost impossible to get.

Actually, the third point on that list was actually used. At a point when replacement parts were cheap, some people would remove the entire Spinning thing (I don't know the name either) and put in a full one, then pick them up again after they finish shooting things. It's a pretty good idea.

I think Doom is right. Even in China, modern society would react with a frightful backlash towards enslaving your population and press-ganging them into the army, and would, in all likelihood, revolt. Simply put, you have about 250,000 loyal soldiers by now (Being generous), and about 1.8 million people who hate you and want to kill you. With military training. And guns. Hex, not to mention transporting 200,000 boars so that 1 in 10 of the soldiers get a full meal each day is absurd. Oh wait, you're doing it weekly. Plus, since they would have to have been farmed on a mass scale, they will already be tame, eliminating the need to do this entirely. tl;dr, stupid idea.
