Not necesserily, if somebody attacks me and I am an ally of Sere, but not specifically in the alliance he is in, Sere may decide to help me, but the rest of that alliance might not, since they have no obligation to. I doubt anybody in that alliance will want to attack me anyway.

Zathe stores the gun away and continues down the corridor, it's mind having long decided that it prefers close combat.

Zathe readies it's claw-like hands (For practical purposes, just count them as an unarmed strike unless you so wish) for combat, before speaking to itself for several seconds. deciding which course of action to take. "8 systems wish to negotiate. 5 wish to attack. Negotiate." It then asks the person who he is and what he is doing.

If this is actually going on then yeah, I can post an action. Zathe whirs into life, analysing it's surroundings before getting up. It notes the room it is in and the people that are in it. It then gets up and and begins to walk down the corridor.

You might not; Hex will. Allying yourself with him will drag you into a pointless conflict, when you have no real reason to ally yourself with him. We all know he picked one of the superpowers just so he could declare war on everyone later.

Name: Zathe MK1 Description: An experimental battle machine which was abandoned in early stages of testing for unknown reasons. After several decades it was left in a scrap pile, but managed to escape, hiding itself on a ship to make sure it was not discovered and destroyed. What differs it from regular autonamous soldiers is that it has several different operating programs installed, which appear to coexist, and decide it's actions via a system of "voting". Each program chooses an action, and the one with the majority "vote" is carried out. These multiple systems mean that Zathe MK1 has a very erratic talking voice, constantly changing style and tone. The machine's shell looks roughly humanoid, with a black and crimson paint coating. On it's "Face" is a single green light.

An AI. Something like Legion from mass effect, preferably.
