All you really need to know is that Hex is an idiot and you shouldn't listen to him, since he obviously has no idea what he is talking about, and is in all likelihood just being a troll.

Ooh, deciding to introduce the Lich's Citidel already, Retech? Sounds fun.

Trol, the price is worth it to have a full army of Angry Marines. I even have a codex pdf if you want it. A lot of it is waay OP, but it is still incredibly awesome. Here, http://www.mediafire.com/?b401gemm8j1 /tg/ is still the best 4chan board.

Depends. I'd give it a 60% chance. Not accounting for Retech based anomolies of course.

Naw man, /tg/ is the best board, easily.

Its a tabletop game, Earth. Look it up on Wikipedia. Hey Grim. ANGRY MARINES. ALWAYS ANGRY, ALL THE TIME.

Hey Grim, do you know about /tg/'s homebrew space marine chapter, the angry marines? It's funny as hell, you should look it up. Not to mention possibly the most awesome thing ever: [hide][/hide]

Somebody here doesn't know their Warhammer 40k lore. In fact, scratch that, I'm probably the only one who does.

Doesn't work. People will choose the option that's best for them, so it would be way too biased. We have already realised that logic alone doesn't work. Besides, there are too many other factors involved in most cases. "My 500 soldiers had terrain advantage" "My 1000 soldiers had better training for the situation" "My X soldiers had Factor Y to help them win against Z"

How was that map made? Ask Archi. Ah yeah Retech, thanks for spotting that, it is supposed to be 12.1. The other colony ship will instead go and colonise a random planet in the Sol system.

It would also get the entire rest of the world annoyed at you, and cause uproar in other countries. You can't perform a total media blackout on an entire country, and some information would leak out, and as soon as other people heard about it, there would be even more panic than before.

Okay, I'm building 3 colony ships, and placing a colony on the rest of the planets in Alpha Centuri. I'm also going to build a medical centre. Zypher (Alpha Centuri) Metal Ore - 415,000 Uranium - 560,000 Chemicals - 818,000 Organics – 680,000 Population: 12,110,000 Manufacturing Centre 4 Research Institutes 20 Missile Defence Towers

Hopefully you've learned from your previous mistakes and wont get everyone pissed at you by starting some stupid factory and having idiotic kill switches on everyone. Ask Mather for formulas, he's the only other person who uses Excel (I think)

Last roll. Kemios- You enter the chamber. There is a large pedestal in the centre, with a sword pointing upwards. Balanced at the tip of the sword is an orange crystal which seems to distort the air around it. You feel yourself becoming healthier just by entering the room. Earth- You fail to mine anything. Grim- Somehow, dispite your concussed state, you manage to tie the leviathans jaws together. You don't think it will hold it for long though. Hakon- See Kemios' roll. Nexaduro- You sink under the ground, and proceed to stab upwards. You don't seem to have hit anything though. Armour reduces damage, it does not prevent it.

Kemios- The way to the inner chamber is now unlocked. Earth- The symbols still aren't very effective, and probably wont be unless the ritual is used. Grim- The elemental explodes, making you feel dizzy. You see a huge set of jaws coming directly towards you. Nexaduro- You grab one of the smaller gargoyles and start to fly away, but controlling so much at once makes you lose too much energy, and you fall to the floor in a slump. You feel several slashes over your shoulders and back. Hakon- You see the entrance to the inner sanctum up above.

Hakon- You note Kemios breaking the seal across the room. You are hit by a small piece of metal and fall into the dustpile. Earth- You carve the symbols, though you doubt they'll have any effect without the ritual and reagents. Grim- You teleport out and fire a bolt of electricity, but the Leviathan seems unfazed by it this time. You create several illusions of yourself, all of which begin to swim towards the surface. Again, one by one, they are all either eaten, or swatted away. You reach the surface and take a gasp of air, before being dragged back under the water. Poseidon- You manage to get back to the edge of the swamp. Nexaduro- You hit some of the smaller gargoyles to the side, unconcious, but the larger ones seem completely immune to the blunt attacks, even more so when you try to hit them with your staff. You take a rather bad slash to the side of your face, and are blinded in one eye by the blood. Kemios- The seal breaks with a strange shimmering sound which resounds throughout the golem.

Or we could juggle the countries around, work out some starting stats, and go from there, preventing the need to do any silly balancing acts in the first place.

Grim- You heal yourself and begin to create some fiery ice, but it explodes around you. As you try to swim to the surface, you are grabbed and pulled back down. You have about 5 turns of breathing left. Kemios- You get the feeling charging it with any magical energy would do the trick. Nexaduro- About 11 of the statues begin shrieking and flying towards you. Earth- You think you may have found some. You ask the librarian, but he can't read much of it either. He lists some of the ritual reagents under the symbols you found which relate to banishing demons and the undead, and he says that is all he can read. "A bar of Baelinum, Feather of a shadowing, Blood soaked skull, and gargoyle wing." Hakon- You cannot morph the metal through the wards. Hex- "The spirit itself if your reward. You should be grateful, powerful things are those spirits." Poseidon- You walk into the swamp, and begin to get stuck.

Earth- You find a book, but it is in an indecipherable language. Though you do still think you can make out some of the meanings of the diagrams and symbols shown. Nexaduro- You look into the castle and see many, many statues. You remember an extract from the book: "Gargoyles hate to be disturbed, and will try to disguise themselves as inanimate statues. If they are disturbed while disguised, they become incredibly aggressive." Grim- You successfully teleport out of the leviathans mouth and into the surrounding water. It would appear that the creature is interfering with your ability to escape. You fire a lightning bolt at the leviathan, followed by shards of superheated ice, causing it to turn around and swim to the depths, smashing you with it's tail as it goes. Kemios- You don't think punching will break magical barriers. Hakon- You revert it to it's previous state and the golem starts sinking slowly again. Hex- The men approve of your success. They tell you that the spirit can do some tasks and attack for ou if you ask it, but if you exert it too much, it may turn on you.

Hakon- You accidentily flood the marsh further. The golem begins to sink faster. Kemios- As you fly upwards, you notice a seal blocking the golems central chamber beggining to fade. Grim- The scale doesn't seem to help. You manage to create some illusions of yourself, and you begin frantically swimming to the shore. You see the illusions around you suddenly get eaten and dispelled, one by one, until there are none left. Suddenly, you feel several punctures in your legs and are dragged underwater. You look around to see that the huge leviathan has bitten your legs, and you can now get a good look at it. Scars seem to cover it from head to...er, flipper, weapons lodged in it's skin which have been there for so long that they have simply become a part of it's body. It seems to be centuries old. To your horror, the bottom of the lake is completely covered with bones, be they human or otherwise. Not a single bit of mud or sand is visible, covered by bone, bleached by decades spent under the tides. Earth- You create a wooden maul. Nexaduro- You arrive at the ruins of Caster. There are several churches and a large castle.
