Earth- You accidentily break the hammer. Grim- You try to charge a geomancy spell, but it explodes and blows a hole in your boat. You are now rapidly sinking. Kemios- You pick up your lightning staff. Nexaduro- Ikana seems to be too loud and active for any gargoyle. Hakon- You fail miserably. Your powers are nowhere near enough to tranform that much metal through the wards, and the smaller golems have all sunk to the bottom of the dustpile.

"I research the wheel." No. If we were going to start a new one, we start with modern day US technology. Everyone starts with that. I'd still like everyone to give Empire a shot though.

Nexaduro- In amongst the musty tomes you find several books on the creatures. "The common Gargoyle tends to prefer quiet places, such as old castles, churches, and some caves. They generally have a strange penchant for human architecture, and will actively seek it out to rest on." "Eagles can usually be found on high mountains. The Eagle Eye is a valued potion and spell reagent, and the quality can usually be worked out through the colour of the eagles feathers." "Bat are more often than not found in caves. Vampire bat's are usually better for spell reagents than the regular variety" Hakon- It would seem that in the deactivation, something malfunctioned, blowing a large hole in the golems shoulder. It seems to lead to the room with two golems in. The golem is still sinking, albeit at a lower rate. Earth- You create a large hammer. You have trouble lifting it. Grim- You set off across the lake to the other side. You note some bubbles coming from below, and, as you look below the small boat, you see a gigantic shadow, at least 3-4 times the size of the serpent you killed earlier. It seems to be rather angry that you killed its young, roaring with an intensity which makes you want to tear your ears off. Kemios- You note the large hole blown in the golems shoulder.

Okay, 3 to start. For the record Earth, proper use of grammar doesn't matter as such, but it makes you look intelligent and not lazy.

I type fast, and rarely ever make any spelling/grammatical errors. I hold grammar in fairly high regard.

Zombie Plans-Revised
In all seriousness, if the flood came to Earth, and managed to get a decent foothold (Enough biomass to create a gravemind, or even a proto-gravemind) we're well and truly screwed regardless.

Empire
Retech, I'll allow that. Considering we're sharing a system anyway, we might as well try to get along

Okay, the file I found is having teething problems, but I shall persevere.

Again, we're back to the incredibly low chance of such a mutation occuring.

Zombie Plans-Revised
Okay, that list mostly has superficial differences, which aren't due to mutation. I agree. Half zombies and armoured zombies are likely, since they take over a hosts body. A torso zombie would actually be rather dangerous, since it has the element of surprise. Speed and poison... Not so much. If the virus produced a poison, it still wouldn't be able to spit it or anything... And if the zombie bites you or scratches you, poison isn't going to matter anyway, since you're going to get turned into a zombie.

I doubt you'd have the guts.

I share the sentiment.

No. No it's not. You've been saying that we should all prepare for zombies that turn into tanks, explode, and spit acid. THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN. ross, no i [bleep]ing havent, what ive been saying is that THERE CAN BE ZOMBIE VARIANTs. pay attention... And we've been saying there wont be. The chances are nil for all practical purposes. Also, about the gatling gun analogy. It's a really bad, nonsensical analogy. I mean, jeez, my cake analogy was better than that. And if you haven't been reading my posts, you really are an idiot. That's like trying to have a debate with somebody while covering your ears. There wouldn't be varients, it'd be one or the other. By speed varient, I assume you mean Rage zombie type thing? You wouldn't get rage zombies AND Romeros, you'd get only one.

RPTools
Well, with the help of /tg/ (Incidentally, /tg/ is the best board by far), I have been looking into other methods of doing this, and come across an interesting piece of software which does not require a download from everybody else, and comes with the entire D20 ruleset already loaded. Problem is... I will need to look through certain... sources to be able to get it. Watch this space.

Probably about right. I prefer defensive strategies. THE BEST OFFENCE IS A GODDAMN THOUSAND FOOT IRON WALL BETWEEN YOU AND YOUR ENEMY.

I had a huge, five paragraph post here, arguing against you, Earth. But I decided to delete it, because arguing with you, trying to get you to accept other ideas or change your ways in the slightest (Even if it's for the better) is completely pointless. Your stubborness defies all meaning and, I believe, stems back to the fact that you seem to hate being wrong.
-
Hegemony Argument Thread
We tried that. It didn't work. Nobody wants to accept that they lost. Ever.

Indeed. But to be honest, surviving that kind of zombie is much more difficult than Romero zombies. Really, I'd just barricade myself in the nearest warehouse. Which happens to be like a mile away, with large, spiked fences all around it.
