Zombie Plans-Revised
Should start with Beuro <_<

2025
Enigma shoots at the soldiers, trying to shoot one in the arms and kneecaps for interrogation. If he is unable to do so, he just shoots to kill.

Damnit. There goes my carefully thought out plan. Enigma drops the smoke grenade and explosive grenade down on the group, before hiding, and using another charge of Kimako's medkit. Kimako will fire at the soldiers from the elevated control room, using the weapon she is most proficient in.

Manifest Destiny
Ugh. Dragonforce. I'd prefer Indestructible by Disturbed. Best damn battle theme ever.
-
2025
Enigma waits for the people to enter the room, before standing and shouting "Hold your fire." and preparing to detonate the satchel charge if the need arises. He holsters the second pistol until his skill is higher. Kimako stays hidden for the time being.

Sounds like you've probably had little-no use of one. Seriously, it is so difficult to use. How do you think it became the symbol of mastery it is today? It's pretty much magikarp power. You'll flail around uselessly and be absolutely hopeless at first, regardless of the quality of your weapon, but then after 5+ years of training, it becomes an extension of your own body and you could probably cleave through several bodies at once, or a lump of steel. Coming from somebody who actually tried, and gave up within about 3 months due to not being able to do what I expected and cut through a plank of wood.

Will do. Kimako goes to the control room and takes cover Enigma sets the satchel charge to the side of the door, before retreating to his elevated position. He then continues waiting. He also takes the second pistol.

Manifest Destiny
"Into the flames we leap!"

Romero zombies don't feel pain. It'll take you too long to use the katana after hitting something with a frying pan, giving you a high chance of getting bitten. Congratulations, you have passed your entrance exam. Welcome to the Beuro of Intelligence And Tactics. B.A.I.T, for short.

Enigma jumps down, and looks for some explosive barrels or canisters. If he finds them, he places them to both sides of the entrance, so that they are invisible to anybody not in the room. He then goes back to his elevated position, making sure that he has a clear shot at the barrels. He loads his gun and waits. he then tells everyone else to get to cover.

But it's heavier and unwieldly. It also has no gaurantee of a killing blow. The trench spike is by far the most effective close combat weapon, unless you want utility as well, in which case a titanium crowbar is good.

Retech, can you, you know, stop with the dancing thing...? It seems to be pretty inneffective, and might get us all killed.
-
Zombie Plans-Revised
The only melee weapon you should need is a trench spike. It's light, and perfect for destroying zombies and easy removal.

Enigma stays hidden in the control room, using a nearby piece of shattered glass or anything with a reflective property to watch below. He waits to see if the people are aggressive. If they are, he throws a smoke grenade and explosive grenade down, before shooting them with his handgun in the confusion. If they are unnaggressive, he drops down and asks what they are here for.

That's... incredibly illogical. So much so that I can barely stand it.

There is a difference between insanity and stupidity. You are clearly the latter in this situation. Also, to be able to decapitate a person with a katana in one swing would take at least 5 years of training. I doubt you have 5 years of training. An axe, would take far to long to swing, and after one blow you'd get bitten. A frying pan: Hurrrrrr.

Somehow, I think you're covering up for the mistake you made, instead of wanting to admit you are wrong. Or, you just have an extremely stupid way of working these things out.

Welcome to the B.A.I.T squadron.

Enigma stays in his elevated position and sits in wait. If the people come down and are aggressive, he shoots them with his handgun, before throwing a smoke grenade down, followed by a real grenade. If they are not aggressive, he stays silent and hidden and listens to what happens.

I think the obvious solution here would be to have more npc invasions and a larger map. Maybe 15-20 systems, max, about half of which are npc controlled. That way, there is a fair mix of combat and expansion, and the game doesn't die so quickly.

Enigma analyses his surroundings (Forgot what's happening) Also, if my computer crashes I'd like retech to continue controlling my character, or Nexaduro.
-
Manifest Destiny
Your losses are worse than mine. Heheh.

Hegemony Argument Thread
Not 6 planets, 6 systems. Although 9-10 would be ideal, I can settle for six. I guess that means ROAARGH.

Zombie Plans-Revised
You wouldn't really want a sniper, since it would take a long time to set up properly.

Hrm. Maybe I should get yet another moderator. My computer is failing miserably (It doesn't load the OS half the time, and I just get a black screen), and I have a [cabbage]storm of exams in about 3 weeks time. So I'm afraid it's just Retech able to mod for the next 3-5 weeks. Sorry guys.
