  3. Last roll. Igos- "Well, now there is the matter of us continuing our existance. Would you allow us permenant refuge here?" Earth- You manage to dodge all the attacks, but make none of your own. Grim- You continue deeper into the tunnel, and come to the shores of a massive underground lake. Hakon- You fly to the roof, making a dent in it, but not breaking through. You don't have enough einherjarium to create a golem. Nexaduro- You fumble around for a bit, before realising you aren't skilled enough to do that.
  4. Earth- You heal your arm, and throw acid. The golem lunges towards you, missing by a fraction of an inch. Hakon- You manage to keep yourself stable, but you don't have any materials to create a minion. The clockworks begin dragging you down again. Grim- The tunnel becomes larger as you walk down it. It then splits into two paths. Nexaduro- You construct a very poor quality steel golem.
  5. Awesome.
  6. Grim- You create a fire crystal, which explodes and burns your arms. Rocco- The golem has wards placed on it to prevent it being warped. You learn something anyway. Hakon- You fail to heal, and begin to feel dizzy. The clockworks begin swarming you again. Igos- The paladin testifies against the nobles. He talks for about two hours, and you fall asleep for some of it, though nobody noticed. When he is finished, the entire court feels the nobles are guilty, and they are sentenced to exile. They slowly walk out to their tents. Earth- You stretch your arm in preperation to cast, but the golem swings and breaks it. You run backwards out of range. Nexaduro- Because having to constantly post xp gains is annoying and generally a waste of time. Does it really matter that you don't get constant updates, as long as you know you are growing in power? You cannot create any more orbs. You don't think you're a high enough level to try something like that yet.
  7. Earth- It has finished healing. The acid bolt hits it, and slowly starts corroding it's metallic coating. Hakon- You release a lot of electricity, horribly injuring yourself. The clockworks around you die, only to be replaced once again by more from the depths. Grim- The tunnel collapses behind you. You fail to create a fire crystal. Nexaduro- You awaken outside. You feel you have missed the solution.
  8. Hey Retech, I already sent you a battle plan, when are you calculating it?
  9. Grim- You feel a rumbling behind you, but the tunnel appears to be completely clear from behind. Rocco- You hear the golem deactivate as you leave the room. You wonder what to practise on. Earth- You miss the golem completely. Nexaduro- Your face collapses into itself and you pass out. (Only loosely based on The Inferno. Very loosely)
  10. Nexaduro- You burn your hands because you tried to pick a goddamn fire up. The wind begins to pick up again. Hakon- I don't say xp anymore, remember? The clockworks begin to grab your arms, rendering you unable to cast anything, and dragging you to the floor. Rocco- The way you came in has shut and is out of reach. The other door leads to where you just were, and the way farther in is guarded by a 5.5 metre tall golem, which has begun advancing on you.
  11. Kirby- You launch a fireball and kill the remaining outside mummies. You start shouting, but nothing happens. Nexaduro- Nothing happens. You fail to extinguish the fire. Rocco- About 5.5 metres. You fail to heal the golem. You feel the other golem is being regenerated by some hidden source. It looks almost brand new by now. Hakon- You break some of them, but more take their place.
  12. Those rules collide with each other. If you're allowed to do what you want, people will ineivitably be [bleep]s.
  13. Rocco- The golem on the floor has deactivated. The other one seems to be regenerating itself somehow. Nexaduro- You get burned because you tried to touch fire. Hakon- You succeed in blasting the clockworks off of you, destroying many of them, and clamber back to the surface. You look around, and it appears that each one you killed has been replaced by another rising from the depths. Kirby- You create several walls of flame, temporarily barring them in, but you don't think it will last long. One of the ones already outside swings at you, knocking you to the floor.
  14. Makes sense to have a draft copy.
  15. Hakon- The clockworks are already totally covered in rust, and probably only still functioning through magical means. You start to get pulled below the pile of dust and ash. Nexaduro- You find very little in the way of hints. Kirby- You hit several more of the mummies, incinerating them, but they keep coming up from the tombs below.
  16. Incorporating what we discussed in the last half a dozen pages, or doing it off the top of your head?
  17. I still need another action to roll.
  18. 3 people to start. (Also, anybody know why the names have suddenly turned yellow? Did I click something by accident?)
  19. I prefer to think about the resident evil 4 inventory management system. I mean, if people really want to do that system, then fine, but I think the tetris system would make people use their brain more and think about what they're doing.
  20. Retech, we both know that isn't going to happen  Without the module stuff, it's simplified even further, which people say they don't want. The module system makes designing ships a much more tactical affair.
  21. Later start today, but longer session.
  22. Previous hegemony was too lax, and it led to frustration because everyone was trying to munchkin as much as possible. Also, Dusty, what will be the difference? You pretty much do that in all games with solid rules. "I don't like this rule, let's totally and utterly ignore it and carry on playing my own way." If you really don't like it, then perhaps you should voice your opinions about the ideas people are throwing out more.
  23. Yeah...I'd say we just go with a grid in the shape of a ship, and stick modules into it that way. The moderator would have to create the module shape when the player finishes researching it.
  24. Well they would only have a certain amount of space to install laser modules or whatever, and they would be left slow and with weak defenses, meaning as long as you survive the initial attack (Which you in all likelihood will, with the new destruction rates) you can get back to even terms pretty quickly, again making it all about the tactics used. Edit: Cool Wiki. I'll do some editing and add some pretty pictures and stuff.
  25. Pretty much exactly that Archi, except some of the modules take up multiple spaces, or are awkwardly shaped, but provide bigger boosts. True that individual buildings per resource will stretch the game out more, but again, I'm not entirely bothered and could go either way, so that's up to you guys. Not sure about the power limit, but the command limit sounds like a good idea. How about ships being worth a certain number of command points each, and going over a certain limit incurs light (If you're not too far over) or heavy (If you've gone way past it) penalties? the command points should be affected by modules, so you can add modules to reduce the amount of command points ships take, just like with offense, defence and speed etc.
