Dungeons & Dragons
Okay, that's good. I'm actually still reading the 4e rules, so I'll need a few days (Probably about a week) to finish those and get a basic campaign ready. In the meantime, you guys should read the players handbook, which can be found by googling "D&D 4e players handbook pdf". Yarr.

Ye Olde Hegemony
Okay, I don't like this at all. You just proxied his population. Can you just play as a normal country? Poland, or something?

Ye Olde Hegemony
Not sure about this. 5000 knights on a starter budget? Knights for 200 each... Plus, it's going to be pretty difficult not to be biased. "you're both devout worshippers, but I don't really like you, so the other guy gets free reinforcements courtesy of the pope." I don't like the idea at all.

The Back Room
Earth, it's probably for the best if you simply stop trying to understand these things. It prevents you getting a headache or migraine or visions of the future/past, exploding head syndrome, sudden transformation into a bagel, etcetera, and it means we don't have to read "Blargh your post is too confusing I have [insert symptoms here]". Pretty win-win, don't you think?

The Back Room
Perhaps some of us do not want to have explicit content shoved down our throats (haha lets giggle like a schoolgirl at the implications here, Mather) every second of the day? Just because you seem to adore talking about your masculinity and how much you love your pornography, does not mean that the rest of us want to hear about it. In fact, I'm almost sure nobody does except you. Keep it to yourself, please.

Ye Olde Hegemony
Er... What? Feeding chopped up people to their relatives? Really?

The Back Room
Theoriatically, you might. There's no way of knowing whether it would work or not though, and it is probably beyond all feasibility. I'm pretty sure that if people discovered how to practically create wormholes, rather than theoriatically, there would be a whole lot more scientists in the field than there are right now.

Dungeons & Dragons
Yarr, I has them all, I do. We'll only be using the core rules at the start (PHB, DMG, MM), and we'll see where it goes from there.

Dungeons & Dragons
Of course not, they will be handy to read.

Ye Olde Hegemony
It's really stupid to compare medieval units to modern day soldiers.

Dungeons & Dragons
Wait, what? Does that mean you are interested, or you aren't? The "EDIT: Nevermind" thing kind of throws me off a bit there. Did you remove something from your post?

My splinterstorm Terrapins would be a real thorn in your side, Mather. Nigh immune to arrow based ranged weaponry, and they fire their own arrow based ranged weaponry very, very quickly.

Dungeons & Dragons
Righto. There should be some PDF files of the 4e players handbook out there. I would advise reading through it.

Dungeons & Dragons
Starting from like, level 3 if people want to skip the lower levels where the game is entirely a luck based mission, or level 1 if people like luck based missions.

Dungeons & Dragons
Just a quick check up here, if I were to restart this (I have a whole lot more free time now), who would be interested in playing? I'd like to switch to fourth edition, as reading into the rules a little, 3.5 and 3e seem to be D&D: Caster Edition, since any melee class is horribly gimped. In 4e, all classes have powers to use. So, if we get 3+ people still interested in playing, I can go ahead and start this up again.

Honestly, I haven't had much trouble with the rules. Sure, you have to post the occasional warning in big letters next to any links which may contain explicit content, but that's no big deal, really. Although I am kind of wierded out by the way you seem to want to write about THAT subject so much...

Ye Olde Hegemony
Not really. Most of Archi's musings are actually rather funny.

I think that was fairly obvious, I mean, Doom is the most sane out of all of us.

I notice the broken hinges. "That was smart, wasn't it..." I start to slowly walk down the stairs, and accustom my eyes to the darkness, looking for any human figures, or anything at all, especially a light switch.
