Pirates!
Eh, just remember to use artificial modifiers when necessary Icu. If you think somebody should have a better chance at doing Y due to X, then just add 5 or something in your head. Using a d% is probably a better idea, to be honest.

Ah yes, constructive criticism. Always good. For starters, I know it's difficult to remember to hand out xp, but it is important, or some characters end up ludicrously powerful compared to others. I was pretty bad at it as well. And by pretty bad I mean really bad. Secondly, organisation. I found it easier to understand if I put a - before everyones name on the result list. It just makes it easier to keep track of.

Yeah, Gurren Lagann. My luck sucks. I roll horribly at everything, even when I'm trying to do something epic. "DON'T RUN FROM ME!" howls Alastor, as he again leaps and cuts horizontally at the fleeing Marines. EDIT: Oh wait, session over. I haven't gained any xp unless you are keeping track and not telling us like I did. Which, in retrospect, is a pretty bad system. I assume I gained some axe/sword xp though, right?

Pirates!
"DON'T UNDERESTIMATE ME! JUST WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK I AM!?" shouts Alastor, slowly getting up, gripping his axe with bloodstained hands, before leaping at the marines who are walking away, and who now have their backs turned, pulling the lever and hitting the switch, and gathering all his strength, releasing it in a diagonal slice across the three marines. +2 internets if you get the reference.

Pirates!
Alastor swings the blade downwards against one marine, then hits the switch, and swings to the side against another marine. By the time the blade is near the marine, it has changed back into an axe.

Pirates!
Alastor runs into a crowd of his employers, and shouts for them to advance. When they get about a meter in front of him, he swings sidewards across as many as he can, before spinning and holding the sword ready to counter any other attackers.

Pirates!
"Thank you, my captain!" shouts Alastor, running back the way he came, up the stairs and out onto the deck. As he runs, he pulls the assorted levers and hits the switch, the back blade of the axe springs forward, Alastor spins it, and with a click, it converts to its sword form.

"Well, this is surprising. I was hoping you would be above deck in that brawl, so I could make a dramatic speech when you got back, but I guess that is out of the window. I actually have no intention of fighting you, although explaining that to your men would have been rather difficult... I have a request to make" states Alastor, slowly and calmly. "I'd like to join your crew. I can replace that good fellow who died in the hallway back there, if you'd like? I'm quite a capable fighter, and the life of a guard never really suited me anyway." He lowers his axe, dropping the edge to the floor with a thud, and leaning on the handle while he says this.

Pirates!
Alastor jumps back up, hits the pirate who didn't stab himself in the head to knock him out, then proceeds to look for the captains quarters.

Pirates!
Alastor swings his axe, as well as himself, around, spinning in a 450 degree turn, before lowering the axe and swinging it upwards across the first pirates torso. He then jumps backwards, flips the axe over, and begins pulling a lever and pressing a switch in. The back side of the axe flicks forward, and with a click locks into the other side, forming a gigantic sword.

"Good sirs, I assure you, my intentions are purely dishonourable. Or should that be honourable? I can never tell with you pirate types." says Alastor, lifting his axe. "I assume we're going to have to fight regardless, but please, I do hope we can laugh about this later" he says as he launches his axe at the neck of one of the pirates, swinging with all his strength.

(So it was. Not sure how I missed that.) Alastor walks through the room nonchalently at a quick pace, and looks for the captains chambers.

(Mather, that isn't how Richard would act at all <_< )- Pirates!
Alastor dodges past them, and heads to the nearest door that leads below deck.- Pirates!
(I didn't intend to do any damage, I was trying to get to the enemy ship - The axe was just supposed to embed itself in the mast) Alastor swings his axe around, sidesteps, and then hits the pirate on the head with the blunt side of the axe, before looking around for a door leading to below-deck.- Pirates!
Alastor tightens the rope again, tying it several times over. When the enemy ship gets in range, he throws it with all the might he can muster at the enemies mast, before using the rope to swing onto the enemies deck.- Pirates!
Alastor climbs up to the crows nest, unstraps his axe, and ties some nearby rope to it. He swings it downwards to check that it will hold, making sure not to let it drop to th deck below.- Pirates!
Alastor grabs the bucket and sets it straight again, before jumping back up and peering into the horizon.- Pirates!
Alastor cleans the deck, before heading to the bow of the ship and staring out into the ocean, hoping to see the black sails of a pirate ship, or at least something to cure his boredom.- Pirates!
"Very well then" states Alastor, dissapointed that his role is cleaner. He decides to bide his time for now and go along with it.- Pirates!
"Sounds fine to me, friend!" shouts Alastor, slapping the man on the shoulder. "Lead the way to your vessel." He began walking alongside the person, about to realise his lifelong dream of going out to sea.- Pirates!
"Well, I might be interested? What is in it for me?"- Pirates!
Alastor looks around for any kind of sign or recruitment document for a merchent fleet or a soldier. He figured the best way to get out to see would be one of the two. He could always jump ship later, anyway.- Pirates!
"Then that I shall do, good sir, that I shall do." Alastor finishes the rest of his drink, thanks the Barman for the information, and wanders out of the tavern, reading a nearby sign to check where the dock is. - Pirates!
