Pirates!
Alastor gets out of bed and gets dressed. He takes his pocket watch and straps his switch axe on his back before heading above deck and looking for the captain.
-
Pirates!
Alastor springs awake, and snaps his head around the room, analysing his surroundings.
-
Pirates!
Alastor gets some well deserved sleep, having already hit the first milestone in his journey to greatness.
-
Pirates!
"As long as I have my courage, I will prevail against whatever anybody throws at me. Regardless, you were a good warrior, and good warriors should die with dignity. Know that you were killed by Alastor, the name which will soon be feared and respected throughout the world!" Alastor lifts his blade to his midsection, before pulling it backwards, and then impaling the captain with through the chest, causing nigh-instant death.
-
Pirates!
Alastor switches the sword back to an axe, and then goes for a decapitating blow, if it is blocked, he kicks Steelblade in the stomach before jumping backwards. (Ps. What do you think about the xp issue? If you feel like I'm trying to control the game, just say, and I'll back off)
-
Pirates!
"I'd like to see you try." shouts Alastor, front flipping over Steelblade while stabbing his sword downwards, and landing with a spinning slash against him.
-
Pirates!
Alastor unravels the rope wrapped around the switch axes handle, and spins it in mid air, before throwing it in an Arc at Steelblade. "Nothing personal, mate, but the life of a guard is not the one for me. No hard feelings, eh?" (Icu, you seem to be only giving xp to like, 70+ rolls. That seems like a bad way to do it, as characters will develop a lot slower. Then again, it's your game, but previous experience tells me that you should be a tad more lenient with handing out xp. But again, your call, I am just giving advice)
-
Pirates!
Alastor gathers his strength again, and swings upwards at the enemy captain, trying to knock him into the air, before switching his weapon to sword form, and cutting diagonally across.
-
Pirates!
Alastor hobbles back to the captains quarters, trying to ignore the impaled chest wound entirely, and asks about his new duties and other information.
-
Pirates!
Just in time. Kind of. Continuing from last session where I was injecting vast amounts of drama into everything I did: "DON'T RUN FROM ME!" howls Alastor, as he again leaps and cuts horizontally at the fleeing Marines.

Monster Hunter
Killed Jhen twice today. First kill I got an Earth Dragongem, second kill I got elder dragon blood. Bearing in mind that those were my 4th and 5th kills, respectively. I think we're both fairly lucky when it comes to monster hunter.

Hmmm... I'm sure there is some kind of traditional chemical used as flea repellant. Anybody know anything about any such substance?

The exact time of YOUR death...
Yes, because until that time comes, I'd technically be indestructible, and would be able to do a lot more with my life. I don't really care if its depressing and a date is hanging over my head like the sword of damocles, the oppurtunities to be gained by far outweigh that.

Ye Olde Hegemony
We'll see. Good luck with your plague.

Ye Olde Hegemony
Yes. There is food on the ships, and the rats will follow it. Edit: Cats are a good idea, too. I'll begin shipping and breeding cats with part of the plague budget. PS. Mather, we'll see how well you're doing when all your people are suffering from plague, and if Retech has a lapse of judgement and for some reason lets you get away with it, I (And I'm sure I can get people to assist me) will make sure to send you a special present. Also, Egypt is dying already as far as I'm aware. And since you're a vassal state, you can't decline offers to trade with them. Hello plague. Come to stay, have you?

Hegemony Argument Thread
That might well be the case
-
Ye Olde Hegemony
We'll let Retech decide that, Mather. Plus, how do you think the plague got across the sea in the first place? It wasn't people, it was rats.

Ye Olde Hegemony
I hate to say it, but I agree with Earth. That was a bit uncalled for, to say the least. It wasn't so much "Dark Humour" as just plain out grim.

No problem.

You wouldn't happen to have mine floating around anywhere would you Archi?

Ye Olde Hegemony
I'm going to laugh when Mather is crippled by the plague. In fact, I already laughed pretty hard at Dusty's post.

Burgandy closes all ports. All border guards are provided with facemasks and other such defense against infection. Anybody suspected of having plague trying to enter the country is killed on sight and the body incinerated. I'll spend 500,000 to arm all border guards with that equipment. I wont be joining the next battle, at least, not until scorpio is finished, which I believe is in another 2 years. Mongols will probably be invading Poland next, I take it? Another 1500 Ranged Terrapins are trained.

Monster Hunter
Lucky bastard <_< I finished the 2 star urgent quest now, so I can start on HR 18 and up. It's pretty good because now you get the meals which put you to near max health, which means no more max potion usage. That and I got 2 Lagia plates in one mission. One from the tail, and one from somewhere else which I thought was a scale at first.

The Back Room
I'm using Avira, and it says a lot of websites have scripted viruses on them. I checked, and it's actually a really common problem. Some completely innocent scripts are similar to viruses, and the antivirus software goes "That looks familiar.... OH NO." and starts beeping and flashing at you.

Project Scorpio is nearly complete. Mongols wont know what hit them.
