  1. No, I was Burgandy.
  2. Yeah, that's why the Protestant reformation wasn't a big deal to the Catholic church, right? Or Islam? Because, they all worshipped God so it was no big deal. Yeah. No big deal at all. Who is Bulgaria again?
  3. Yeaaah. Burgandy now worships the Earth and Industry, and since god created the Earth, we still kind of worship him too, so popey wont be mad at us. The city being cut into a mountain is to be named Minas Tirith (For epic luls). Burgandy is now named Terracadus. Which is latin for Dig the Earth, but altered a bit.
  4. Things can always be improved on, Ocarina is great, yes, but it is not perfect. They can (And have) made better zelda games than OoT
  5. I know that. But it isn't a scorpio. I'm just using the name.
  6. Project Scorpio begins. I'll PM you about it Retech.
  7. And this is why a modless system does not work. He did X, so I'm doing X as well.

Well I'm not surprised about Madagascar. Man sneezes on the other side of the world? Close all the ports and airfields.

I thought the black death and the bubonic plague were the same thing. Oh man I'm not good at history.

I thought the black death was started by rats coming to England by stowing away in boats? To be honest, a downhill cavalry charge would only be good if the hill had an incliation of like, less than 10, maybe 15 degrees. Anything more and you're taking an unecessary risk.
  11. Actually Icu, can you PM me Tom and Joe's Emails? I'd rather not lose contact with EVERYONE. Although I'm sure as hell glad to lose contact with most of them.
  12. I remember that time Tom got his ass kicked by a dog, so he shot the dog, and then suddenly, STOP RIGHT THERE, CRIMINAL SCUM, except Red Dead style. and everyone in the town was trying to kill him.
  13. Already researching cranequins, which I believe are similar. But cranequins cannot mine.

Aiming them would be absurdly difficult, since cavalry are generally used on flat, plain like terrain, and ballistae need to be fired in an arc in that situation. It just isn't worth it, in my eyes.
  15. I'm not interested in guns. I'm trying to carve a fortress into the side of a mountain to re-enact the battle from LotR. Obviously. That and gunpowder is horrendously useful for mining.
  16. Eh, there are documents of Saltpetre being used from like... 500 AD. My ships are still going there for silk, but now they are bringing back all documented usage of saltpetre, sulphur and other chemicals like those, which I will then base research off of. Solved.

Warhorses were trained not to be scared of spears or loud noises, and they had some plates to the side of their eyes so they could only see forwards, I believe, so no distractions from the side... I guess fire could do the trick though. Seige weaponry would pretty much suck against cavalry. Other cavalry was often used, yes, and crossbowmen are pretty much a staple.

Pikemen are designed to stop cavalry... Seriously, that is literally the only thing they had in mind when they armed people with 10 foot long poleaxes. You point them forward to stop a cavalry charge. I have some tactics of my own to stop a cavalry charge, too.
  19. Because the handgun was invented in a fortnight. Hell, muskets took like 5 minutes between shots. They're pretty much the same as the bow in that they are more or less an opening weapon only. I think the chinese invented gunpowder around the time the game is in right now. Besides, I need it for mining.
  20. I prefer medieval tactics since the default strategy is not "Nuke it first, ask questions later". Anyways, my ships should be back from China in 17 years with black powder and silk. Huzzah. Work begins on a new variety of seige weaponry, though it wont be complete for a while yet.
  21. My name means innocent fortune and my coat of arms has a helmet, some vines and a lion. [bleep] yeah.
  22. Why are you asking me? I don't even play the game anymore.
  23. Earth, Sere probably took them back.
  24. You still have nobles, they're just good fighters as well. They probably still want compensation for sending their pupils off to die.
  25. Loud music and crowded rooms? No thanks, haha. Dungeon, I think your image died.
