Gotta get this off my chest first. 10 workers [hide=]Fish 132 swordfish, 440 tuna (both raw) 62,568gp + 53,680gp = 116,248gp Flax 1250 flax = 117,500gp Coal 545 coal = 99,735gp Maple Logs 891 logs = -10,796gp (yes, thats right, you lose money)[/hide] Now heres my take. Fish>Flax>Coal>Maples>Anything else. Fish is lower than flax as you can see, BUT if you look at the graph of flax, it is very unreliable with its prices and tends to move up and down. Fish however, stays steady (currently riseing too) and is constantly the best, because you get half keys, and more gems than coal (gotta luv caskets). As for coal, it is horrible, it is increasingly falling in price after a month of being the same price and it gives so little gems. As for Maple logs...here comes the contreversy. You would need a Magic seed every 2 days! Just to actually make more profit than coal. This will NEVER happen, the best i've ever seen is a magic seed every 3 days. Maple logs is just not smart, stay away from them. SO Do 10 fish, 5 flax. Unless you want to monitor flax's price everyday, then leave it at 10 fish, 5 flax.

Alright, well, a good way, but no exp, would be tanning cowhides. Its around 50k an hour. As others have said, you could smelt steel bars, buying the coal and the iron ore and selling the steel bars afterwards. If you really like fishing, i suggest fishing lobsters instead of swordfish, 3x faster and they almost cost the same. If you haven't already, do all the lumbridge diaries for the explorer's ring (3) so you can get unlimited teleports to draynor cabbage patch. P.S. there are so many ways to make money. -Running airs -Running eye of newts -mining rune ess -making sets from pieces (well, i guess you can't do this because your poor) -FoG items and resell them -mining anything

Don't do that...He doesn't have 60 smithing, so that means he can't use the anvils there. Just smelt iron ore and make into iron knives, or a slower but more "afkier" way is to make cannonballs.

EDIT #2: WTf.....posted on the wrong one. hold on... EDIT #3: Anyways, if your comfortable with fishing, you should just fish your money back. As for KBD hunting, it's really crowded these days and isn't a steady form of income because so many people do it that now people bring teams and overpower people who solo. The kalphite queen isn't good money compared to the newer updates like GWD. You should find a guide in the AoW and see what GWD is all about, it's a bunch of new bosses that drop incredibly overpriced swords and armor. As for the d'chain and legs, the chain hasn't changed too drastically in price, but the dragon legs are now worthless compared to what they were 4 years ago. They're around 800k, and the d'skirt is around 160k. Try fishing first, and make sure to read all the updates.
