  1. I wouldn't think it was stupid, if you're safe spotting something you're already killing the monster that is doing nothing to you. I don't think Jagex wants to make killing without risking anything easier, plus it gives people who have to spend money on food and potions a little bit more. I don't think this is bad at all.
  2. I would suggest posting a thread that asks people to buy them off you, it would be quite easy and several people would be keen to help you, you'll be surprised at the number of helpful people. This way you don't have to do the quest ( I HATED it) and you can still unload your String Gold Amulets.
  3. Level 2 Clues are 100% worth doing, they are fairly easy and you may make several Million off doing so. One Ranger Boot's Trail and you're set for at least a few fast total levels if you wanted to spend it that way. I guess it's really up to you, though I do all clues when I get them cause you just never know.
  4. I would sell the Rannars without a second thought, mostly because Herblore is an expensive skill to train. If you're going to do it you should be looking at the most cost effective method, therefore you should sell the Rannars to buy something that yeilds the most experience per Gp spent. Ultra Crabs
  5. With Diamond Bolts(e) Steel Dragons are decent, the experience isn't super but the drops can make up for that. I see you're leveling "as fast as possible" so this might not be for you, though this may make Slayer more appealing. For fastest experience that doesn't involve Chins or a Cannon I would take some Iron Knives to the Waterfall and kill some Fire Giants.
  6. By the looks of your stats you probably aren't open to this idea, but I would suggest raising Defence and Range together, leaving Attack and Strength alone. This way you can Pk as part of a team, being a Ranger will get you more kills and with high defence you could even try it alone. I never Pk-ed myself but I used to do a lot of Staking and Range Tanking is the way to go, either way good luck. Ultra Crabs
  7. You have no times or anything associate with this event, how is it meant to work? Do you just want to kill all the men and women or should we PVP and get other players as well? Than should we kill ourselves, or at least pray so that everyone in a 9x9 Square dies off? Then come the problem of the respawn, perhaps we should just log off never to return again? You first I suppose, lead by example.
  8. Yes, I've been playing for almost 6 Years now though I don't really let people know. I'm 18 years old and since High School it has never really been a socially acceptable move to broadcast my RuneScape skills. I do share my passion with a few people, those who play it and those who I trust but I don't generally broadcast it, I'm not ashamed I just don't think people understand.
  9. Add me on Ultra_Crabs I can buy a few K at a time then sell and come back.
  10. I didn't think that could work, but I hope it does. Couldn't hurt to try, good luck to you.
  11. You could try to get a quick 30k by asking people to let you assist them on the Forums, or you could do some good old fashion Herb collecting slow I know but in the mean time it's the best you can do while you wait.
  12. Between the three, to me it would seem like Construction would be the best choice. You would see the most level increases and it is the most expensive of the skills to train. To pick any skill I would go with Slayer, as it takes the most time to level up. Either way I don't think you can go too wrong with your choices, I'd just suggest you stay away from the steaming pot when the option comes up.
  13. Thank you very much, I see now I have 14 posts. You've been very helpful I appreciate it
  14. I'm sort of new, I havn't ever posted much but my profile says I've posted 13 times but I know I've posted more than this. It says I've posted 13 even after I've posted twice more that I know of for sure. Also what does Chicken Feather mean compared to Rat Meat? Thank you
  15. The third draft of the Hamlet essay is complete  Now I get to wait a few hours before I can start the fourth and hopefully final draft Free RuneScape time
  16. Good luck with your goals, they seem rather impressive. I could never look that far ahead and see what I'll accomplish. One thing we have in common is spending money with no direct purpose \ Cheers to that
  17. Thank you very much, I'm quite pleased with this method. Though English is my worst subject so I'm having some trouble with this essay, hence it is my third attempt. The final draft is due on Monday, December 1st :wall:
  18. It's my Senior year in High School and I've decided it would be a good time to buckel down and start to get my act together. I'll be applying for University next month and am hoping to keep my grades high enough to obtain a few scholarships. Since September the only thing that makes me open my book and study, write rough drafts or do practice problems is knowing I can knock off a few thousand EXP in Woodcutting, Cooking, Fletching or any other skill that doesn't require constant clicking. So I supposed this could count as a Runescape Goal Current Goal: All caught up Current Activity: Mining Iron Ore
  19. I would recommened sticking with the Level 45s for now. As you'll no doubt fail more often with the higher level bandit and it's only a 5 EXP difference it's best to continue with this method until you're at least 10 levels above the minimum requirement.
  20. They mentioned it, but not in "Behind the Scences" but infact in a new type of information page which tells you how things are progressing at Jagex. There's a rather nice thread explaing while Borrowing is taking so long to release on the RuneScape forums at RuneScape.com I encourage you to check it out.
  21. I feel this update is a great idea for Slayer. In my mind Slayer is the hardest Skill to level, making the Accomplishment of 99 rather impressive. This update allows hardcore Slayer the joy of being able to block tasks while encouraging them to not Burthope every task but a handful. This won't jump people to level 99 Slayer over night but still helps the avid Slayer along.
  22. Umm, I think you can do it with 2 mil. Saying you buy Yews at 400 each and bowstrings at 200 each You pay 600 Gp for each Bow Sell each bow for 500 Gp This haves you spending about 100 Gp to make 175 EXP so it's 1.75 EXP per GP 3.5 Mil Exp, if that doesn't do it just cut a few logs since you want Woodcutting up anyway
  23. That all depends on the price of the Herbs and how much you spend. I remember when Grimy Snapdragons could be purchased at Market Price and Clean Snapdragons could be sold at Maximum value. I made a lot of money doing this (2 Mil a day) for a while and gained quite a bit of Herblore EXP, this was a while ago. Just try to see if any Clean herb Market Price is above the Grimy version; buy clean sell. It's fairly quick and the EXP is great :)
  24. I remember the day RuneScape2 came out, I didn't know at the time but this was a whole different game. I played RuneScape2 as if it was Classic. I went back to Classic sometime later on another account and remember exactly what I was missing. They both offer differetn experiences it's really a shame it's not open for everyone. I think it would give everyday users more appreciation.
