  1. ...and there I was, thinking that nobody ever would have similar preferences to me. Oh wow. Stop hitting on Silver. :shame: Hahahaha.
  2. The Faceless' Planetary Duality. Haha, they really turned into [bleep]ery death metal with this album. Still better than Dream Theater though!
  3. Sonata Arctica's Winterheart's Guild. I really wish I could sing like Tony can. When I took lessons, I used to be able to sing similarly (although with much less of the accent). But man, when SA decided to change their sound they put out this phenomenal metal album. Don't like the rest of their stuff much though.

    Today...

I feel better than yesterday. My head and throat hurt a little bit still, but I don't feel like I'm going to die anymore. Just takin' it easy today.
  5. Goddamn, some of you are making me realise how ****ing shallow I am.
  6. Katatonia's Last Fair Deal Gone Down. I didn't know the digipak edition (which I own) of this was a limited run. It was £5 well spent - the bonus tracks are great, especially Help Me Disappear.
  7. Been a while since I did something like this. Looks-wise: - Long, light/medium brown hair. - Blue or green eyes. - GLASSES. Usually a big plus. - Not too much on the chest (not completely flat, but not huge either. B is a nice medium). - I don't mind too much about figure, but as long as they aren't a twig or a whale I'm fine with it. - Small feet are quite appealing for some reason. As are small hands. - Short. In the 5' - 5'3" range, preferably. Personality-wise: - Quiet, reserved and polite. Last one is big for me. I would date a girl who isn't the first two if she's polite, definitely. - Must respect my love for music. They don't have to even be a music listener, just as long as they don't try and bring down the music I listen to. - Must not want to spend all my money. Another big one seeing as how I hardly ever have any money. - Bonus points if they're a bit geeky. Now I'm not talking Asperger's levels of geekiness, but a little bit is nice. - Ideally she should have some cognitive function. I'm not talking philosophical levels, but holding down a conversation about something interesting is a plus. Of course, these can be adapted. I'm not as picky as it looks :P
  8. I've just found the silliest looking band ever. They're called Versailles, and they're from Japan! (surprise, surprise!) So, Versailles' Noble. I guess they sound a bit like Kamelot.

    Food.

Yeah it's prawns and seafood sauce in a baguette roll. Godly.
  10. Rachel's Music for Egon Schiele. Peaceful...

    Today...

    Damn. I feel rotten. It feels like a flu-type thing, but it could be just excessive fatigue. Whatever it is, it's horrible and I can't seem to get to sleep; so no sleeping it off like I usually do. ;-;

I would say you're being a bit paranoid. The chances of that happening at all are not very high.

How can you have issues with kettles? Surely you just turn it on and wait for it to boil? Also, whenever I go out, I always find myself ordering a prawn baguette if they're on the menu. Delicious.
  14. While not a band name, Wolven Ancestry has some of the worst song titles ever. For example, Wolven Ancestry's And Gaia's Wrath of A Thousand Forms of Vehement Torture Will Be Brought Upon Ourselves, the Self-Destructing Human Wolven Ancestry's A Mythological Anticipation of Omnipotent Immortality Enshrouds Our Viscious Conquest I mean when is there a point where it stops becoming a song title? Although in all honesty they are pretty [bleep] hilarious at how ridiculous they are. Demilich is another contender: The Sixteenth Six-Tooth Son of Fourteen Four-Regional Dimensions (Still Unnamed) The Planet That Once Used to Absorb Flesh in Order to Achieve Divinity and Immortality (Suffocated to the Flesh That It Desired...) Yeah.
  15. I'll have to try them out. I'll be honest though, I still have a soft spot for some of Sonata Arctica's stuff. Probably because it was one of the first metal bands I ever really got into. I mean songs like Replica or White Pearl, Black Ocean aren't terrible by any means I think. I really like Winterheart's Guild by Sonata Arctica, but I find the rest a bit uninspired. Used to love them though. :P

Goddamn. Why is Opera loading pages so slowly today? (It isn't a connection issue. I've ran all the necessary tests). [hide=] Nothing abnormal there.[/hide] If any Opera users would like to shed light on the problem, it'd be appreciated.
  17. Dragonland's Holy War. This band always remind me of what Sonata Arctica would sound like if they were actually good.
  18. Incredible Expanding Mindf*ck is both stupid and awesome.
  19. Forgive me for asking, but are all wires connected up properly? If they are, you could try replacing the cables (unless you got new ones with your new modem) to rule out any possible wiring faults in your house.
  20. Do you have a software firewall? (ZoneAlarm, Comodo) If so, try disabling that for a while and see if your disconnections persist. Also, do any lights go out on your modem when your Internet disconnects?
  21. Nah I haven't. I went through a phase of 'not wanting to hear music blasted obnoxiously loud' but then I realised, some music is meant to be blasted obnoxiously loud. I can see myself in a pit for some reason. :P
  22. I would quite like to see BTBAM and The Faceless live. Shame about In Flames being there... and they really don't fit in. I thought you didnt like concerts. If I dont get to go im going to rage so hard. If I miss that I will have missed: Meshuggah, Ensiferum, Necrophagist, The Fall of Troy (3 times), Suffocation, Buckethead, Black Houses, and probably more. I've kind of changed my mind on the whole concert thing. After watching a fair few live videos I thought it would actually be pretty great to be a part of it all. It's a money/travel issue for me when it comes to concerts - my local university never really has any bands on that I would pay to see, but the cost of travelling out of the county is way more than I can afford. Plus, I don't really like travelling long distances be it on my own or with others.

  24. You play tf2? Haha yeah, but I haven't played in a while now though. Not since... March, I think. Haha sure. Why not.
