I seem to have a small dependency on prescription tranquillisers. I was prescribed them a couple of years ago for anxiety attacks; and although I probably don't need them now, I start feeling a little out-of-sorts if I neglect to take any. Not really like an anxiety attack, just... odd. It's usually a few days before that sets in though, and I barely take them anymore.

Boris. Get Amplifier Worship, Heavy Rocks, Akuma no Uta, Pink, and Smile. Pretty much THE stoner band that everyone has to listen to.

Insomnium's Above the Weeping World. The guitar sound in this album is amazing. I wish I knew how to reproduce it; but getting a good metal tone on single-coil pickups is hard enough as it is, let alone going for the intensity that these guys have.

I have a good selection on my MP3 player, but it's only about 5% of my collection due to it only being about 4GB. I like having a variety of music with me for some reason. Rolled up newspaper. Aim at moth. Swing. You win.

Japan has a huge obsession with anything western, and they have done for years. But that really isn't my point: my point was that we now have all of these Death Note-reading, gothic lolita-wearing 14-18 year old girls who claim to be the authority on everything Japanese. I can't even tell you why it annoys me so much. I really wanted to hate those songs. However, they aren't too bad. Not exactly the greatest or most musical songs ever, but I would listen to it. I'm now intrigued about the new Muse album.

The west is currently going through a 'we love the east' phase, just like they did in reverse a while back now. As much as I like anime I can't say I have an interest in much stuff of Japanese origin, excluding its literature and history. From what I've read on Japan, it isn't anywhere near as exciting as the people who desperately want to go there think it is. It also seems to be becoming more westernised, but don't quote me on that one. Why the hell would anyone want to go to Japan for the anime.

I've been meaning to watch that, even if it really looks like a generic tsundere TEH RIE anime. Aria the Natural is amazing. I don't think season 1 filled me with this much happiness.

I have another year of probably doing nothing at all. I think I'm too late to apply for college now. Sigh. (I know I said I was gonna go back to school, but I just got told to go to college instead.)

I would appreciate it if people kept double/triple/etc posting in this thread to a minimum unless say... the posts are a good few hours apart, given the nature of the thread.
