I Think it's either in the Stronghold or at Cockroaches now, not sure because p2p but that's my best guess.

Personally I would go with whip because it is that little bit faster and I go for exp not looks. But it's up to whether you use whip or GS and it's up to you whether the sword is worth it.

I can't comment on the tanning thing as I didn't tan my hides, but I would say stick with green and don't go to blue hides.

Raw Fish, I think it'll prefer Raw Sardine Though. :
