  1. Monkfish is also mostly fished outside the coast of Norway and is in Norwegian "breiflabb", brei means broad and flabb doesn't mean anything. Also it's ugly like hell. [hide=][/hide] And we eat that crap without skinning, or de-boning it?!?! Another useless fact: You eat fish whole...while in real life it's big as hell (shark anyone?) and you don't even get full! Not only that but he ejoys eating that monster whole with bones, skin, teeth and organs  , our characters must be pretty messed up. Not only that.. but my monkfish have been sitting in my bank for months, and they haven't gone off yet!
  2. Well... its my time to quit so I thought I'd go out while trying my absolute best to take something out of the game: Oh, and my Best of bank... I was sure I had more than that... but I lost quite of a lot of money by buying ags + bandos and then selling it again a day later >.< happened for months. Ending stats:
  3. F2p is a different perspective for everybody. As somebody said earlier: If f2p didn't exist then neither would p2p, as p2p relies so heavily on existing f2p content and ideas. Which makes f2p a basic game in it's own right. Although; P2p is massively bigger than f2p, making f2p look like a demo in comparison, but i doubt a f2p player would see it the same as a p2p player. On the topic of Mechscape, I for one, dissagree with what they said about being different audiences between runescape and mechscape, I don't play runescape because I like all the fantasy stuff, if i did then I'd be addicted to fable and oblivion. It's the adventure, the new and existing content (I'm talking years back now) that used to be out every week. But more importantly, the exploration.. as you may feel for yourself, runescape is a lot more fun when you're just starting out.
  4. Amazing achievements... really; I tried this when I got bored but I just couldn't do it. It takes a tremendous amount of effort just not to trade when you've traded throughout your rs career. But I s'pose if you've never traded then you don't know what you're missing. Quests must have been really annoying, when I was doing quests I'd go buy everything from ge before hand, but it'd probably take you double the time of the quest just to get the items you need to do it. Have you got any long term goals? like 99s? or full bandos/spirit shields/arma/godswords/claws etc...? or even levels?
  5. In other ways to train farming, you should probably add something about planting trees and plants in your house, which is an extremely costly way of training; but also the fastest.
  6. There could be quite a few who play, but won't admit because they're still waiting for Jagex to pay up some cash for them to endorse it (it'll never happen though, we all know what Jagex are like with advertising). They could even be avid pkers who everytime they rush somebody imagine that they're killing the paparazi? It beats getting arrested for throwing phones or attacking them. I could also see a lot of quieter celebrities play it when they're not doing a film or program, because they probably have a lot of time on their hands. Like..Keira Knightley hasn't made a film in a while, so she must be playing rs.
  7. Maybe mechscape? I predict it will have similar interfaces... Either mechscape, or it could be that new skill that a mod said could be a whole different game in its own right? Which I think would be more sensible, considering the reception that summoning had to begin with...
  8. Thanks ^^ I did like 500 sara mage kills in 3 hours yesterday, so "hopefully" it shouldn't be too long until I'm finished
  9. Thank you ^^ I'm trying hard, but only because I want to get out of this dungeon XD
  10. Thanks I'm kniving sara spiri mages now, they seem to be a lot quicker than aviansies or orks, so hopefully I'll be done a lot quicker :D
  11. That'll be the first thing I do ^^, also I'm pessimistic towards anything actually happening.
  12. 2 down, 2 to go. Cash made so far, keep in mind I had to pay mates for barrows repairs etc. If you want to keep up with me getting the last 2, visit my blog: viewtopic.php?f=98&t=798826
  13. It's just a shame they didn't make the ignore lists longer
  14. 1. I disagree. Granted, I don't hang around crowded places that much, but the people I've met on RS that were younger seem pretty cool to me. 2.I've never experienced this. 3.I don't PK, so I don't know about this one. 4. I would think that wide open spaces would mean less interaction with others. This would mean less rude people. 5. Is it greed for GP and items? Or could it be desire to level up? When there is a greater demand than there is supply, of course you have to fight for the desired item(beast, ore, log, etc). I'm not saying that there aren't some a-holes in the game, but most RS players are pretty decent in my experience. From what I've heard so far, I've come to the conclusion that it must either be the places that I'm at, or the times that I am on. I usually hang around at gwd, slayering, training some skills in the fastest possible ways and well.. minigames. I mainly hang around those places, so I wholeheartedly think now, that the minority ruin if the for the majority YET AGAIN. For all those that commented that runescape respect was declining, I now believe that its not declining in the population it's just the minority that CAN but not always ruin the atmosphere.
  15. Older players should help newbies because the newbies are too lazy to read the manual or fansite guides? You're assuming newbies know there is a manual or even fansites, and I'm pretty sure the tut island was no-where near as helpful as it is now.
  16. Not started killing any spiri mages, the kills that I've got from zammy and sara have mainly been from monsters that have just got in the way while i've killed bandos and arma monsters XD But the d boots situation is going to be handled by trading them with my friends for noted d boots so that I have a nice pile of d boots in the end.
  17. Not with the current rise in d boots because of manipulation clans =/ its hard to tell.. but I'm already made about 8.5m from aviansies.. so probably 11m from armadyl in total. 160 d boots is also my aim for sara and zammy, all depends on what d boots end up at when I'm finished XD Thanks for the comment, long awaited another one. Armadyl will hopefully be finished tomoz.
  18. It's a vicious cycle; and it's present in all games. The higher levels make fun of the lower levels, who eventually become higher leveled and continue the tradition making fun of lower levels. Present in life...except the younger kids wanna be like the older kids... [bleep]s and booze
  19. Yea XD I better pick a world then :o.. Yea, but I think its pretty much a spiral, the lower levels are disrespectful of the higher levels because the higher levels call the lower levels noobs. It'll probably always be like this, but also you've got the lower levels who are probably similar age to the higher levels envying their head-start in runescape, which fuels "nerd," "nolifer," "sad."
  20. omg mai opinyun! :ohnoes: I automatically took a dislike to this thread because, much like the weekly "OMG DEY CALED ME N00B" thread, there's nothing new, it's been talked to death, and it's already been refuted hundreds of times over. Was that a question? I'll answer it; No, my opinion is not something you could live without. It is like the fountain of youth; all (yes, even you) may bathe in the amazement that is its healing powers. I've made my point earlier, so let's just throw the gloves off for a minute. You really love playing the victim, don't you? You have no ability to take in criticism without throwing yourself on the floor in the fetal position and cowering, calling everyone around you who even so much as projects disapproval, a bully. I had a kid in my school who did that. He ended up with a pencil lodged in his hand after trying to push my stuff off my desk for the fifth time. . You act exactly like the immature, rude players you rant about in your thread. I'm going to go back to my first post and take what was originally a joke, and make it a little more serious now; You act exactly like the people you rant about. You say you joined when Runescape was a fruitful paradise. How convenient that the population started going down just as you arrived. Angry mob? You may proceed. But I'm going to stop feeding the troll that calls himself OP. A pyschologist would have a field day with you.. Oh and I think I'd rather stay, just so I can communicate with normal people.. not you
  21. Mine was something similar to this.... I thought that Defence was trained by getting hit, not by doing the damage, so I wasted a lot of food and armour in an attempt to train my level 1 defence.....It took a level 4 (I was around level 10-15) to tell me how to train defence :wall: upto like 40 combat.. I thought that was how hitpoints was trained XD
  22. On my very first account I didn't know how to train anything other than attack so I ended up with 26 attack and quit
  23. Nice blog  xecer's melee stats remind me of my own :o and your skiller looks awesome ^^ I always thought why don't skillers get mage.. one of the most handy skills for a skiller
  24. Exactly! XD thankyou.. but when I try do it they retort back with "nerd." I s'pose I've just got to find the funny side of it.
