  1. I like the guide so far, very interesting. I didn't actually know about the scrolls but it'll be helpful if I ever make those pouches in the future to gain a bit more cash and experience by making them into scrolls :) I knew about the superglass make spell, but I didnt know it was that much cash and crafting exp an hour :o it must better than superheating for smithing exp + magic exp... Anyway, keep it up :D.. oh also, I'm not sure if this is necessary but what I've found that you might want to mention that ranging spiritual mages in saradomin stronghold on the first floor, attacking the ones that attack the werewolf actually gets you more money (on average) and range exp an hour than aviansies.
  2. You've automatically lost my interest in the first paragraph, you should probably read "How to win friends and influence people" it could teach you a thing or two about dealing with people, and how to get them round to your way of thinking. Also, most of your guide is plain logic that a lot of people, and not just "programmers" know; I have very basic programming and java knowledge and at the moment I'm finishing my gcse's yet I could tell you what you've told everyone in your guide. A common reason why people do woodcutting is the afk'ing advantages; if the tree is cut down too fast (despite what you might think that it doesn't get chopped down too fast, in my experience it does), it means more clicking, therefore losing it's afk'ing advantage. Oh, and you're forgetting about the amount of people in the world; I can't find the source but Jagex once said that the amount of people in a world affects respawn points, how quickly fishing spots move and how quickly trees spawn again, therefore you may have to think about the "never running out of trees" quote. Overall, this guide is filled with yourself trying to be superior to the common runescapian, which is DEFINETLY not going to get you good ratings. My opinion.
  3. I suggest taking a terrorbird with you when you go to wc, if you can store sc tools in there anyway, not entirely sure. Take an extra terrorbird pouch (you'll most likely use up 2 or 3 in the time it takes for the bird to die) and only keep around 6 hatchets in the bird, the cost of the bird pouch will easily be lower than the amount of exp/time you lose by banking. Once you've used all your hatchets, switch to Dragon axe. Although i'd highly suggest an adze as basically it's a free dragon axe with free fm exp. - Obviously if you have spare sc hatchets then use them in place of Dragon axe, although I wouldn't put myself out of my way to go and get sc hatchets, make the tools into hammers.
  4. I'd go for broad bolts, a lot cheaper and means you won't have to waste time picking up the obby rings that your ava left.
  5. All I see you do Bouwzie is flame other people's rate threads.. stop trying to make yourself look big.. cause you don't. On topic: Gratz, I've done plenty of spiri mage trips but never had over 3 in a trip :P gl on slayering from now on
  6. Gonpost, I've noticed that your guide may be a little outdated in terms of armour, training spots and monsters. since you were the first person that came up with this kind of guide and to list the exp you got, and especially since you put so much work into it. I would like to ask for your permission to make a guide based on this one (you will be given credit in the intro). I will add newer monsters, techniques, weapons and spots aswell. Please reply ;).
  7. These are my suggestions and tips that i've picked up on my way to getting 85 slayer (got now) 1. Use duradel, you might not care about the points now, but they do come in useful when you get an onslaught of unwanted tasks or you could just spend them on slayer dart and make a nice sum out of it. Also from experience duradel gives higher lvled tasks, meaning more exp if you have the equipment. 2. I would use 200 points on blocking your most hated tasks first, then get the slayer helm. You should definetly get the slayer helm, if you add up all the bonuses it has then you will it to be a very valuable slayer aid. 3. I have blocked the tasks that are usually the most annoying to me. Its personal to everyone but i would suggest: - Skeletal wyverns, - Mutant tortoises, - Mutant birds, - Black demons or Black dragons
  8. I may not post on tip.it forums very much, but I have been a lurker for a long long time... I know we can win if there is a little organisation; you need a leader, a leader for the rangers, the magers and the meleers. You also need a strategy, since they're a clan they will be experienced in this and probably be well equiped, so you need a leader who can get people into a cc, stop them speaking and tell clearly what to do. Most of all we all need to: GET HYPED UP FOR AN EPIC FIGHT... BE CONFIDENT TIP.IT... CORRUPTION WILL FAIL!!!!!!!!!!!! P.S. I will be there with 4+ armour sets
  9. personally I think you're right on the whole, however there are some exceptions other than gwd. Dks, they're hard to get back to without a partner and you can easily get koed again whilst trying to recover your items. Anywhere in the wildy, if you run and try to get back your items without thinking of revs then it could mean you dying again. PVP, how easy is it to die now with new weapons and strategy in pvp. D claws and D bows can quite easily rip through any unsuspecting player. As for me, whenever I die I always feel that I won't get back to it, sometimes I don't even bother trying. This is probably stuck from my mindset before gravestones were released... or I just have bad time management skills? With the release of lots of new high costing items, the need for people to keep hold of them is even greater. If you were rich in rs 4-5 years ago, you would of owned close to 10 d chains, and multiple sets of armour and weps. Although nowadays some people will just have 1 set of armour and a bgs, or an ags etc.. Therefore if they lose some valuable property it can be more devastating.
  10. Wow... you guys like to flame... he asked for a simple rating not an essay on how he shouldn't of even mentioned what level his main is.. tbh I woulda done the same thing if someone was as patronizing to me as some of you lot. Use some respect..and if your looking for a fight go on rs pvp world.. you'll get one there 6/10... 50 rc is hard enough to get on a f2p skiller but to do it with 42 mining is even better XD
  11. My question is what would you suggest? I am thinking about pking in the new pk worlds (non bh). These are my stats: 71 attack, 70 strength, 45 defence (got from quests all the way) 72 range, 52 pray, 64 mage. I am a hybrid and if I get 70 defence then I think it will also get 70 pray. But if I stay 45 def then I'll stay my same pray level but get 99 attack aswell. My goals are: 99 attack, 99 strength, 70 def, 99 range, 70 pray, 99 mage. = 115 cb OR 99 attack, 99 strength, 45 def, 99 range, 52 pray, 99 mage = 106 cb So 70 defence + 70 pray OR 45 defence + 52 pray?
  12. Thanks for the suggestions people, I'll get onto the waterfull quest :) hope I can stay alive long enough though. Anymore suggestions will be appreciated
  13. Hi, I'm looking for some advice (obviously), can someone give me some ideas as to what I should be training on with range? My current levels are: Def level: 2 -.- Range level: 50 Prayer level: 43 Mage level: 60 I'd much prefer something you can safespot but still has a gd exp/per hour ratio. Also please don't post rock crabs they're driving me crazy ;)
