  1. Had a 3.67 GPA last year (freshman year) This year I'm gonna try and push myself, I've got a 3.87 GPA so far for the first marking period (yea, i calculated my GPA for the marking period... >.>) Getting an A in an AP class has its perks, especially that nice 1.0 that gets added :P
  2. 99 Def/Range/Mage/Hp?! Um, you'd make an INCREDIBLE tank. I'd say keep the att/str levels where they are, but at those levels, you could even use some melee weapons for KO'ing (DDS) It all depends on stats, who you fight, and how experienced you are with Pking. You've already got the stats down, now go out and get some practice
  3. What do you mean by which hits more? Accurate is well..more accurate (You'll hit less 0's) than rapid, but its a teensy (okay a lot, especially with D Bow) slower than rapid. Rapid is faster (its still ungodly slow even then D:), but is less accurate. For specs, I'd say go with accurate. I don't recommend you use the D bow on rapid to train/pk with >.> It's only worth the spec.\ The names of the styles? You guessed it; Accurate, and Rapid. Pick up any bow, and you'll see.
  4. Keep in mind, that if you want to be really cheap and/or for wars where you know they'res a good chance of dying, you can substitute the new clay armors for Rune Helm/legs For PvP, if you want to go with decent armor, use Torags Helm and/or Veracs skirt. If you're feeling really ballsy, bring both. If not, bring one and try switching things up. I personally like T helm with dhide body and chaps, and rune kite. Just find whatever works for you.
  5. I'd say a solid 90 85-90 ish range level, and 70-75 def would be good for your level. Try and keep mage close to your range level aswell, since it can't hurt your combat level :P And what do you mean how do you train for def? You'd train it exactly as you would before. Except at higher levels, exp rates don't increase because your str/att should stay relatively the same. Thats the only tough part, but with a little determination its nothing that can't be done. Also when you asked about tank gear, look around this forum on the front page on a few threads; I recently posted a good description of what your basic gear should be. If you need anything else, I'll be in this forum, so you know where to find me :)
  6. He's got it. And even then, void is so overrated. But since you can't increase ranged max hit using range-boosting armor, Void range is the only one worth it out of the 3.
  7. I'd recommend the Prayer method, waay less clicking, and you kill more in the time that you would without praying. Unless your the kind of person who wouldn't go mad after hours of camping these guys, then prayer is totally worth it. The only drawback I see with it is the cost of p pots, but compared to the amount you'll make, its nothing major. And plus, you gotta use money make money 8-)
  8. Whaddaya mean? I did avvy's at 86 ish range, and I found them to be great (maybe not great, but a bit above decent) exp. The cash is a nice extra bonus. Other than that, I think Ray hit it spot on. I don't promote using a cannon for exp, nor do support using chins to power-level. Although I'm fine with yaks. :o
  9. At the initiate stage you'd be using full mystic (if you were melee'ing, you'd use full initiate), and an msb/crossbow/weapon of choice. I'll admit, I'm sort of stuck in the past with the old Wildy, so I'm not 100% sure how this pure would work out. In the old wilderness, you used the open space to chase down oppenents and wear them out of supplies and hopefully kill them. It'd look like something out of an elvemage video, freezing your target with anicents or entangle spells, while constantly ranging them. I'm not too sure how these pures play out 1v1 As a rune pure, you'd be mostly ranging (due to runes negative mage bonus) Think of it like a mini tank if you will. These fair very well in 1v1 pvp. At 80+, I'd assume you'd have a decent mage/range level. Heres where you get the best of both worlds. You could either- A) Tank Range - If you want to use high end armor, go with Torags helm, Verac skirt, barrows gloves, blk dhide body, dragon boots. For a cheaper subsitute, you could replace Torags helm, V skirt and dragon boots with Rune Helm/Skirt, D skirt, rune boots. You could even try mixing it up a bit, with Torag helm and Rune kite, and blk dhide body and chaps. Just find whatever suits you. If you find that you die too much with one setup, try another. You could also throw in Vengeance spell into the mix, which makes every 1v1 fight interesting ;) B) Range/Mage Hybrid - These guys own a lot in multi, but theyre almost as good in 1v1. If you see some BH videos of DI or other top-notch clans, you'll see what I'm talking about. However, they're a bit more expensive due to rune costs. 9 times out of 10 you'll be on ancients. For this, you could go with Full ahrims, weapon of choice, infinity boots, and karils top and bottom (in inventory) I'd recommend brews and sup restores, as you'll need the best food source to keep you alive. If you dont have that much money to throw around, replace ahrims and infinity boots with mystic, and karils with blk dhide. You could also switch mystic hat for farseer helm, for an added def bonus. And as for the Dark bow pkers, you could bring a Dark Bow as a means to KO, but I personally don't support people who stand back waiting for someone to get low on health, pop in and happen to get a lucky spec because the person was low on hp. If you actually fight the person instead of just running in, spec, run out, then I'd have no problem with it. And whoa I think is my longest post to date xD
  10. I haven't bought the guitar yet, I just picked out the one I want lol. Sorry if I wasn't clear. @Haaa - I've heard a lot of mixed reviews about Line 6 Spiders :/ Some say they were great, but others say they sound too tinny. Idk I guess I'll just get any amp for the time being. Thanks for the help everyone.
  11. Nope, been playing acoustic guitar for a little over a year now. I think it's time to take the step to electric guitar : And if your wondering why I'm worrying over what kind of amp even if its my first one, I just want to make sure I buy something decent so that I won't have to waste money on crappy amps just to buy a new one.
  12. Voices Off Camera -R.A. Stare into the Sun - Thrice You Be The Anchor That Keeps My Feet On The Ground - Maday Parade Those I think would describe me, off the top of my head. But I mostly listen to songs i can relate to, or like Blueshenka said, speak to me on a whole different level. You Be The Anchor would more likely fall under that. And yes, I like Mayday Parade.
  13. To those who advised chinning, you're not gonna go anywhere with only a mil, and even then, exp rates aren't too great at 90- ranged. If you want to achieve it fast, then you're gonna have to go through a few boring hours or so. I'm the kind of person who gets bored easily, so I grab 2-3 different kinds of weapons (msb, rune c'bow& knives) and i switch it up at whatever monster im training on (some suggestions are fire giants, dusties, ogres, etc) Granted its not the fastest exp evar, but it helps me deal. And avvies are quite nice ;)
  14. INSTANT CLASSIC. Me and a friends were bored, so we tried to think of a few that would get you smacked >.> Prettyt sure he didn't make this, but he came up with "If your left leg was Halloween and your right leg was Christmas, could I come visit in between the holidays?"
  15. :sigh: Outie. Just grown to accept it :P
  16. Paris Hiltons New BFF  On second thought, the whole 'Shot at love/Flavor of Love' series. Except the one with Tila Tequila. Why? Because its Tila Tequila Um one cartoon I've ALWAYS hated, even as a child, was the Tom and Jerry show. The fact that it was an hour long did not help with my original hate for it.
  17. ...Lmao at the video "I'm here to kick [wagon] and play card games" And, favorite anime/manga of all time would have to be FMA. :Holds up antifire shield: It was the first real story that I stuck to. Although I'm sorta getting into the DNAngel books.. but yea. Reading manga has always been one of my guilty pleasures :-#
  18. Thats another thing >.> I dont think I'll be getting a serious job or anything for a bit (I'm 15, so a year or two) So right now, I'm completely depending on my dad to buy it. And he's the cheap-o of the family -.- So i reckon around 100-150 total for the amp? And how often do tubes have to be replaced?
  19. Ohkayy I'm back >.> I've picked which guitar im going to get (thanks for the advice!) All I need now is the amp. Since i know i wont be gigging or any of that anytime soon, what would be a good amp to just practice on and have fun with? Im specifically talking about tube vs modeling amp here, but a brand would be nice (I think someone suggested Roland or Marshall amps when i asked before) I heard tube amps are best when it comes to sound, but you also have to change and replace tubes. For modeling amps you dont have to change anything, but the sound quality isn't as good as a tube. Im leaning more on the modeling amp right now, but thats why im asking you guys lol. And I'm playing punk, melodic hardcore, and maybe some soft songs every now and then :P So, any advice?
  20. Tank is the way to go (although I'm biased :-#) Well, personally I'd say stay range pure for a while to you get bored, then go up 18 def levels to initiate pure, and then go on to rune pker, then get 70/75 def and try some barrows pking. Ultimately try tanking, which is 80/90+ You dont have to go through all those "stages" of types of pkers, but I'm just throwing out all possible ideas that you can do atm. Oh, and i dont know too much on Void pures :x But if you plan on pj'ing with a d bow, don't do it mann :shame: No one likes a pjer. Get 70/70 Att/Str, leaving room for any errors you might make. Max should be 74/74, if you get 74/75 you"ll no longer be ranged based. Oh, and 70 pray is always nice for piety.
  21. Knives if you want to level up the quickest. Switch to arrows whenever you're bored ;)
  22. The one thing I really hate is when members attack F2P'ers for getting an update that won't really benefit the members themselves; They're ranting on sharing an update when they most likely won't use it except for the first week or so  I say give F2P skillcapes & the snare spell, and they're set for a good while. But I'll save that for another time ;)
  23. ...Then train your stats or something. Pj'ers seriously ruin things to those who want to have a decent fight. 7/10 for the drop 0/10 for how you got it... :shame:
  24. Dunno if its been posted or not yet, but i get the highest score by just doing the highest thing I can over and over. With 90 range and using a range pot, i do 90-99 and occasionaly the 80 one once and i always fall into the 1100-1400 zone. I tried with mage (only 79) and I do sometimes nail the 90-99 moves (though i dont do it over and over) Just go with the highest thing you can and repeat.
